Everything here is so delicious! Whenever I'm craving Japanese food, this is one of my go-to places. I always enjoy the food and look forward to coming back!

I got the chef special, salmon belly. I asked for additional roe topping. The salmon belly was delicious. It was perfectly cooked. It was tender and juicy, absolutely melt in your mouth juicy. I was expecting a small piece of salmon belly, but it was a generous portion. I'll definitely reorder this next time. I also ordered the grilled salmon plate, which came with a much smaller piece of salmon. I was surprised the salmon portion was so small compared to the salmon belly and mackerel plate. The salmon did taste great at least. My bf got pork katsu and he liked it. I tried the katsu and it was good. My bf thinks the curry sauce was good, but not as good as Coco's. My friend got the mackerel plate, and the mackerel tasted great too. It was also a generous portion of mackerel.

Food was flavorful and the service was speedy. I really like the display of dishes outside in the storefront window. It helped my autistic child prepare herself for what she wanted to order. Everything we order was delicious and fresh. Katsu udon my husband ordered was delicious he said it was full of yummy flavors. My child ordered Katsu-don and ate every bit of it. I had the las Vegas roll with salmon roe was fantastic! Also had a Spider Roll which was delicious. The crab was crispy and all tasted fresh. Highly recommend stopping in this place.

Having been to Japan previously, I can say that this is a reasonably authentic and very delicious teishoku restaurant. The service is hands off but pleasant, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the food is filling and well prepared. I recommend the Katsu Ni set

Delicious local Japanese spot with a variety of options. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. I would recommend one of their plate options or sushi. They were delicious! My husband also got the ramen and said it was perfect on flavor and spice based on the one he picked. They have several. Ambiance was very laid back and great for the whole family. Would recommend! Im making this one of my go to spots for Japanese food.

I ordered grilled mackeral and two salmon bento that was supposed to come with potato salad, cabbage, edamame, and eggroll but it came with grated radish and boiled spinach instead. This was for dinner to go on a weekend. The eggroll was also missing. I honestly didnt care for anything we got. The grilled mackeral didnt taste like it was grilled. Everything was bland. Maybe we'll give it another try and stick to sushi instead.

First time here and won't be my last! I went for a dinner date with a friend and we started off with fried shishito pepper as our appetizer, then the sashimi assortment deluxe 5 kinds and chicken katsudon. We were very happy and satisfied with everything we ordered! The fried shishito pepper did not have a strong seasoning but the fried and touch of salt taste was just perfect, the chicken katsudon wasn't any special but just good and the sashimi was SUPER DUPER fresh and yummy!! I'm obsessed. The restaurant is spacious and kinda cutesy! The service was good and I will be back real soon!!

Solid place! I think everything was done well, not life changing but legit and tasty. Was craving Tempura and it was such a nice light batter. Lots of parking in a huge lot. Pretty inside with large booths and lots of natural light

Update: December 15, 2025 We went to try their lunch menu. We also brought our middle son, a big fan of Japanese food. They have a different menu for lunch. They also offer combo lunch. I ordered Soba shoyu noodles soup and tuna rolls. They're delicious. Service is great. Great ambiance. Our middle son agreed that this Japanese restaurant is the best so far in the area. They're using fresh and good quality ingredients.

Loved the food and the ambiance! They have an extensive Japanese menu for very reasonable prices! Based on my experience, I believe they're a great option for authentic Japanese food in DFW. I also enjoyed trying out their June Special Menu items such as Vegetable Mazesoba (野菜まぜそば) and Cold Ramen (冷やしラーメン). Their set meals (定食) are also great!

I was honestly trying not to make a review on this place until i was able to come back but the food was so good ! I got a mackerel set meal, a banana cherry cocktail, and a yuzu highball . The service was amazing, it was one lady doing 4 tables and she was very efficient and polite. She also made the delicious cocktails ! The ambiance was warm, relaxing and had good background music that wasn't overwhelming. The food and the drinks were so good, and it was literally 30 minutes before they closed ! They ran the place like they weren't closing at all and we got to try some smoked tuna with cucumber (it was delicious‍). I'm looking forward to my next visit to try the chicken katsu curry and a melon float !

Very authentic Japanese restaurant nestled within a quiet shopping complex. They are known for their curries and katsu, which they excel in. We usually order the katsu-ni curry, which is a fried pork cutlet cooked in egg, the katsu curry, or the katsu don, which is a fried pork cutlet over seasoned rice. It's the best tonkatsu and curry I've had in DFW. Part of what makes it great is they use high quality Berkshire pork that is juicy with a good balance of fat. The Jiro-style ramen is also really good. Very hearty and flavorful. The interior here feels like you're in Japan and the staff is actually Japanese which is great. They currently give free soft serve ice cream for kids which is a big plus. We eat here a lot but never get sick of it because it's always a great experience.

I heard how this place had the best tonkatsu so I went to give it a try. I think I made a mistake when I ordered the egg with the tonkatsu since it kinda drowned out the flavor of the pork. It was still pretty good but next time, no egg for sure. My friend said he liked his beef curry udon. I had a piece of his grilled Mackerel and it was just ok. If I was in the area then I'll eat here again but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

However, the past two times we shared this place with another couple who loves sushi just as much as my husband and I do. One reason we kept coming back, aside from all the delicious food, was how they labeled their menu with the top food allergens. As a food allergy mom, I appreciated this so much! Especially when I was still breastfeeding, I had to eliminate all of my daughter's allergies to breastfeed safely. The main ones I had to look out for was gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, and sesame seeds. The safe was aware of my limitations and shared empathy, not annoyance like other places. T Thankfully I'm out of that stage so I can eat anything on the menu now. We would like to take our daughter here some day, she loves sushi a lot! But being only 5 years old, we'll need to save it for a special occasion. We get carried away when we come here. The food here is top notch and worth every penny, so we'll have to save up. Cooked dishes we always order: Brussel sprouts, steamed mushrooms, hamachi collar and miso cod. All the nigiri/sushi is fresh and you can't ignore the specials or seasonal menu!

Having lived in Hawaii, we ate sushi, sashimi, and poke on a regular basis. Finding spots like this allows us to create new memories while also feeling a bit nostalgic for the flavors we love. We might have gone a little overboard, but everything was incredible! We ordered the Crunchy Eel Roll, Hamachi Nigiri, and Tuna Nigiri, along with two of the EBESU Course menus. My husband had the Chirashi Don and I went with the Toro Tekka Don. Love, love, love. As you can see, it was a lot of food, but every single piece was cooked and cut to perfection. The dishes are very easy to share, and I think next time we'll lean into that more so we can sample even more of the menu. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese food, this is the place to go!

The waitress was very kind and I thought the owner was very sweet to bring out some samples for us to try. The evening started off okay with decent appetizers like the Karage and Gyoza. But when it came to the entrees, it was not my favorite. I will admit we only ordered cooked sushi, and maybe that's not their forté. But the sushi had a noticeable fishy taste, the green bomb was just a mash of mostly rice topped with avocado, and the Cali Poli had the same flavor profile as the bomb despite it being a different fish and presentation style. I love all food, but I had to toss my leftovers away because both my wife and I felt like the food wasn't settling well. I spent $60 for all the food. I'm giving this a 3 star because the staff was super kind, and maybe my wife and I just ordered the wrong things on the menu, but I will not be returning personally.
