What an amazing hole in the wall. A small restaurant ran by I think a mother and daughter duo. They were serving us and were the sweetest and very attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the hibachi combination and it came out hot and flavorful. My boyfriend got their ramen and the broth tasted phenomenal. Their karaage (fried chicken) was so good. We got it in a sushi roll and omg, best thing ever. We ended our meal with their fried ice cream and fried cheesecake. Perfect amount of sweetness in both. We walked in around 12:10pm and we're seated right away. There was only 2 other tables in the restaurant. It was a small place but comfortable spaced seating. We ordered a California roll, spicy tuna and rainbow roll. I was very disappointed in the whole experiences our food took 30 min and even though the size of the rolls were generous I was super concerned about the quality. The rolls tasted room temperature and a couple of the pieces from the rainbow roll were tougher than they should have been. The California roll was heavy on the avocado it drowned out the crab. For my sushi rolls I ordered the fantastic roll and the rock and roll roll. Both were absolutely delicious and the sushi was very fresh! I don't remember which rolls my friend ordered, but she enjoyed them as well. She said they were delicious. Service was wonderful! Was staying across the way and walked over from our hotel because it was so convenient. I was super surprised because best sushi I've had in ages. So fresh and flavorful and not just tons of rice like so many places use. Absolutely delicious and the prices are so reasonable! Waitress was very attentive and got our order correct, even with the modifications we made. The bathroom was spotless, which always makes me feel confident in the cleanliness of the kitchen. Can't beat the value of 8 pieces on their standard rolls. Normally you get just 6. I had the best philly roll I have ever had. Normally they put too much cream cheese, but this one they put just enough for you to taste it and stocked it with raw salmon. My only complaint is they didn't have much saki and only one cold saki. Would like a cloudy rice one in a smaller size. All they had was one cold saki and it was a large. It's Florida and hot, should have a bit more selection of cold saki than one option. She went over my order with me and confirmed if 2 ponzu cups was enough as I had asked for ponzu in the notes of the sashimi and also added a side of ponzu to the order. The salmon didn't quite have the same taste that I'm used to but it didn't taste bad. The ponzu was off. It wasn't bad, just not the taste I'm used to. The food is well prepared and delicious! Both the price and portion are good given that we are from Chicago area. We ended up coming here for dinner three times during our week long vacation. I recommend everything we had: a variety of sushi, conch and octopus salad, seafood tempura udon, beef udon, teriyaki salmon, hibachi salmon, and deep fried cheese cake. The sushi is very fresh. The seafood tempura has a large portion and kids just wouldn't wait to get their pieces before I could take a photo. The service is very friendly and considerate. We actually just randomly found this place while leaving a Publix parking lot lol. We are on a mini vacation staying at Disney and decided to go shopping and to Publix for sushi (because it's easy). Thankfully this Publix didn't have sushi bc it made us notice this place. We got a menu and ordered two rolls, crab Rangoon appetizer and hubby ordered teriyaki chicken. The rolls were delicious and flavorful. My only complaint is the rolls are typically served at different temperatures but boxed together. They also sat my dancing shrimp roll on top of hot food. That's the only thing I can say was mildly upsetting. The crab Rangoon was so crispy and good. A little sweet and the filling was runnier than I've had before but it worked well. I didn't taste the chicken bc I only eat fish but hubby said it was delicious. It comes with either a soup or salad. Hubby picked salad but said it wasn't good so he only took one bite. I didn't taste it myself so I can't properly rate it. I will say tho, we stay at Disney often and I will now pick this place for my sushi every time.
