Six courts and they are all lighted!! -Courts aren't totally trashed. May find abandoned tennis metal lids, leftover snacks, and a trail of ants near the benches but get cleaned at some point. -Useable filtered water fountain that has come in handy during hot days -I've been safe. There are homeless in daytime but they do gather around and prowl at night. On a random night, I played here close to midnight- 2am and I wasn't bothered. Cons: -Super long wait times to get a court -a lot of homeless. I've never been harmed or too bothered. I've had a few flashes of unclothed people. -The ambiance can be a bit whack depending on the type of people around. You've got normal people just wanting to play tennis, old folks that play here all the time and want to coach you, coaches expecting you to leave the court mid-game so they can do their private lessons (which is not allowed because I called the city and coaches need a permit to hold lessons here! Only 1 coach has a permit and he's at the last court, always). Players who yell, cuss, and play explicit loud music on their speaker... -Real world vibe. I've had a few arguments at these courts too which has caused me to not come as much/ call the city. I normally keep to myself and only come here to practice by myself since it's most convenient.

The bad: it is full of homeless people, and the issue has yet to be addressed. They just sleep anywhere in the park, which I get is common at parks, but this park is just crawling with them. The worst part is they openly do drugs in front of people, and not a single thing is done about it. There's a lot of trash everywhere, and I have seen very sketchy people just hanging out around the area. I have my concerns with safety and usually keep my kiddos incredibly close when I take them here. I think the city needs to do a huge cleanup, and if successful, it can be a huge asset to the community. This park is one of my favorite parks in Studio City. They have recreation areas and can let you sign up for sports/classes that interests you. Recently, I had taken few classes with couple of their teachers/coaches and they are WONDERFUL! Earlier this morning I went to play tennis with one of my friends. Tennis is one of my favorite sports to watch and to play. We don't keep score. We just like to play and have fun. You can walk, jug, people walk their dogs, kids, they have picnic areas and do a lot of kids birthday parties.. or you can just simply sit in silence and enjoy nature, the sunlight and have a good, peaceful time. Focused. Respectful. No chaos. No loud music. No nonsense. Just structured movement, controlled blades, and the kind of discipline that most gyms wish they could bottle. It wasn't some medieval riot. It was art. It was choreography. It was fitness with intention. And then--because this is Los Angeles--the authorities rolled up. Permit required. Now listen, I understand rules. I respect process. Parks have policies. But it was early morning. The place was practically empty. Ten adults quietly training on a massive field with more squirrels than spectators. We weren't hosting Coachella. We weren't blocking traffic. We weren't even sweating on anyone else's yoga mat. Still--permit. It's almost funny in that very L.A. way. You can film a car commercial at golden hour, but ten disciplined adults moving mindfully with training swords? That needs paperwork. That said, the park itself? Beautiful. Clean. Wide open space. Plentiful shade around the fields from trees that can help provide shade if needed. No sights of any homeless or loitering that some parks struggle with. There's a large building with multiple bathroom stalls. Soccer fields are artificial turf so there's ground rules on what's allowed inside. Chairs I believe aren't allowed. Had lots of fun here!!! I made sure my dog did its business on the real grass outside of the fenced soccer fields. Spotted a gopher in a hole too! Overall a nice place to go to for soccer, a safe walk, and to rest or hangout. The ceremony included reading each of their names out loud and placing a rose on the plaque that matched the war they died in. WWII had the most roses and deaths. They had one of the fire trucks lift up a huge American flag next to the regular sized flags of the branches of our military which surround a pilar with a live flame. There was also a live band, singers, and flybys by planes in formation. It was a very solemn and respectful ceremony to honor those who died on duty. After the ceremony, I stayed at the park for a bit longer laying a towel on the grass under a tree. I don't know if it was just the spot I picked, but even though it was really grassy, underneath it was really muddy, like when I finally got up my towel was soaked through and so was my back. Then I got lost trying to find where I parked because the park is bigger than it looks and has 3 parking lots. I thought there was only 1, so I didn't pay that much attention when I walked towards the ceremony. When I tried getting back to my car I honestly thought it might have been towed. Now I know there's a parking lot by the building that leads to the swimming pool, another next to the swimming pool itself so you can actually see the water, and the last one is next to the tennis courts and baseball field. This doesn't include the parking spots all around the perimeter of the park. The park is clean, has plenty of playgrounds for children, tables and benches to eat at, and a public restroom. It's not the quietest of parks, though, since there are so many children and it's next to a busy intersection, like during the ceremony a trash truck and a random car honked their horns in support of the ceremony. Otherwise, it really is a nice park with plenty of amenities.

I was promised three party helpers for an event with 80 guests, including many children, but only two were provided, which was inadequate support. While I have payed for their highest full party package they did not have a lighter to light the birthday candles. They also told me that I have to bring my own ice for beverages. I had also specifically requested a fairy character, and only a few days before the party I was informed the fairy was unavailable. Even more concerning, I was told I had never requested one in the first place. I had to provide screenshots proving I had made that request. Had I not kept documentation, my concern would have simply been denied. The most disappointing part was the pattern of poor communication, defensiveness, and failure to honor what was promised. After sharing my experience, several friends told me they had gone through similar issues, so this does not appear to be an isolated incident. We used to come here regularly for open play, but after this experience, neither my friends nor I have returned. The facility may be enjoyable for children, but based on customer service and event coordination alone, I would not recommend booking a party here.
