Came here for a Tuesday night date night. It's a small place, really quiet, appears to do a significant take out business. We won't complain because it was great that we had the whole place to ourselves. The service as great. I ordered a dish hot on the heat level and I need constant water refills. Our waitress kept me stocked up on water! The food. It came out quickly and super hot. It was not lacking in flavor either. Both dishes were delicious and would order again. Both dishes hit the spot. The hot was hot and no joke. If you like spicy food, they can get there. I would recommend this place. 10/10. Would return! If you are looking for a date night spot, I would definitely come here.

    Vegetarian Rolls

It was a small yet comfortable place with fast service. We ordered vegetarian rolls, crab rangoon, dumplings, red curry, and green curry. The appetizers were tasty, and while both curries were flavorful, the red curry stood out as the more delicious of the two.

The food was really great. It has been many years since I visited Thailand but it brought back fond memories. Drinks were good too!

    Noodles with Beef

The atmosphere and servers were great! I really wished I liked the food more. The Tom Yum tasted like fish sauce with a chili oil. The chicken skewers were pretty good, not too dry and had plenty of flavor. The noodles with beef (on the street food menue) was sweet! I was expecting savory but it came with a side of sugar on top of its already sweetness.

    Pad Thai & Edamame
    Gamze C.

I've tried their curries and drunken noodles before and those were good. Last night I grabbed Pad Thai and edamame. If the pad thai wasn't that much sugary, it would have been delicious but no it was really really sugary and edamame was not good also. They are not bad at overall, their curries are tasty but as I said edamame and pad thai were not. So just don't go with these two.

Khao Mun Gai, Khao Kha Moo, crispy Fried Chicken Skin

The debate is over. This is hands down my favorite thai food place in mass. Yes in all of mass!! Omg its such a hidden gem and I'm actually so mad we waited this long to try. If you're a fan of authentic Thai street food and not just pad thai and tom yum, this is the place. We got the kao mun gai (chicken & rice) and it's delicious! My boyfriend even prefers this more than our usual spot - Hen in Somerville. I got the khao kha moo (braised pork thigh with rice + chinese broccoli and boiled egg) and omg I was on cloud nine!! Can't wait to go back and try more. We were pretty surprised that it was empty inside when we went to pick the food up :( the people working there was sweet as hell too! we love this place so we really hope this review reaches the right audience. The crispy chicken skin app was delicious as well and we got two desserts to try because we couldn't decide which one to get. The fried banana was ok, like sweet egg rolls but the one that captured our heart was the sweet sticky rice with thai custard. Hallelujah it's delicious!!! Not too much at all, though I always love the mango version, this one is pretty dang good and a unique way to elevate the sweet coconuty sticky rice. Will fosho definitely coming back to try other street food dishes on the menu!!

Great pad thai and excellent spicy menu options. The spicy items are actually spicy just as a warning for those who can't handle it.

Fish cakes were small and perfectly uniform - almost like they were frozen rather than prepared on site. Green curry had some spice but was mostly one note, there just wasn't much depth of flavor. Vegetables were all cut in huge hunks - both dishes had giant pieces of red bell peppers and onions. Fried rice was pretty bland and barely had any Chinese broccoli in it. Ambiance was bare bones - you order at the counter and they bring you your food and plastic side plates. Half the tables were stacked with boxes and bags of takeout orders. To top it off there's no bathroom, we were told to use the bathroom at another local business. If I'm gonna spend $60 somewhere, I expect to be able to wash my hands before eating and use the restroom. Perhaps there are some specialty dishes that we didn't try but this was my 2nd time ordering from here (I got take out once before) and both times the food was pretty bland. A truly underwhelming experience - especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.

I asked if the food was authentic Thai food and she assured me it was. I ordered, Grapao Sub (pork my favorite dish! ) Shrimp donut, and Tom Yum Fried Rice (new item). All well worth it and very flavorful! I wanted mango sticky rice but they said they were all out. Even though the had a ton of mangos at the counter for sale or decorations, IDK... kind of disappointed with that but overall, great service, delicious food! Definitely will go there again. Thai ice tea - not overly sweet light and creamy after you mix it. Green Thai iced tea - more tea flavor shown thru this version i enjoyed this too! Basil chicken fried rice - spicy good flavor overall and chicken was plenty. I sort of was hoping they would have the signature like basil spice "glaze/sauce" they could do like other spots for basil dishes but they did not. It's good how it is though but if i was to get crispy chicken - def would need a sauce for my taste anyways. I highly recommend this place if you like spicy. I requested for extra spicy for the red curry with salmon & I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted actually spicy! Many Thai spots I've gone to tend to not deliver the level of spicy I'm looking for, so I'm happy I was able to get it here. Salmon was cooked perfectly & the curry was delicious. We loved the basil fried rice with chicken also. Flavorful & had a nice kick. Chicken was not dry either! The chicken laarb was addictive to eat. It had the right amount of citrus & spice. Generous portion too! Nampla wings reminded me of nuoc mam/Vietnamese fish sauce wings. I personally found the wings to be a bit dry but the sauce it came with really helped. Good flavor though. Lastly, both the Green iced Thai tea & regular iced Thai tea were solid. Not the best but still good. I'm a big fan of Green iced Thai tea & not many places offer this. I always make sure to order it wherever and whenever I can find it! Overall, I'm so glad we were able to stop in for dinner at the Crying Thaiger. Not as spicy as the drunken noodles but just a massive portion of filling noodles, chicken/tofu, and Chinese broccoli. Refreshing, but with so many cocktails on the menu, I'd likely try something else next time. Before getting into the food, I will say I really appreciated the display of the food and the little touches that made it feel like an elevated dining experience. For instance, the khao soy curry comes in a teapot that you pour over your noodles and chicken, and the A5 wagyu is flamed at the table so you can determine your preference level. The khao soy was delicious with a creamy broth that was flavorful and hearty. The sous vide chicken also made the dish feel a bit more healthy than usual khao soy. There were a good portion of noodles that were firm enough to be enjoyed despite all the broth. My only caveat is that this is a pretty spicy dish and even when I asked for mild it still had a kick to it. Delicious but spicy so I ordered a side of rice but overall it's so delicious that I'd still order it again. My husband's rice was also really flavorful and well balanced between the meat and the rice. Each bite felt like a nice combination of the two elements. The servers were also friendly and while it could be hard to get someone to come by at times, we were also there during peak dinner hours. This place gets pretty busy and often has groups so I highly recommend making a reservation. Even for just two diners I made a reservation and was glad I did. The restaurant heavily leans into the tiger theme which is also fun to see the different elements of it from decor to the staff's attire. I cant wait to come back and try more items from the menu.
