    Bangkok combo
    Venessa P.

Food was excellent... this is one of my go tos for thai food... we ordered, fresh rolls, Bangkok combo and crispy pad thai.... so good... the sauces for the Bangkok combo were not in the bag... I called and they delivered sauces to me in less then 10 minutes... I can not say enough good things about this place... I also got the butterfly pea tea... so good...

    Vegetarian Rolls

It was a small yet comfortable place with fast service. We ordered vegetarian rolls, crab rangoon, dumplings, red curry, and green curry. The appetizers were tasty, and while both curries were flavorful, the red curry stood out as the more delicious of the two.

The food was really great. It has been many years since I visited Thailand but it brought back fond memories. Drinks were good too!

The atmosphere and servers were great! I really wished I liked the food more. The Tom Yum tasted like fish sauce with a chili oil. The chicken skewers were pretty good, not too dry and had plenty of flavor. The noodles with beef (on the street food menue) was sweet! I was expecting savory but it came with a side of sugar on top of its already sweetness.

    Pad Thai & Edamame
    Gamze C.

I've tried their curries and drunken noodles before and those were good. Last night I grabbed Pad Thai and edamame. If the pad thai wasn't that much sugary, it would have been delicious but no it was really really sugary and edamame was not good also. They are not bad at overall, their curries are tasty but as I said edamame and pad thai were not. So just don't go with these two.

Khao Mun Gai, Khao Kha Moo, crispy Fried Chicken Skin

The debate is over. This is hands down my favorite thai food place in mass. Yes in all of mass!! Omg its such a hidden gem and I'm actually so mad we waited this long to try. If you're a fan of authentic Thai street food and not just pad thai and tom yum, this is the place. We got the kao mun gai (chicken & rice) and it's delicious! My boyfriend even prefers this more than our usual spot - Hen in Somerville. I got the khao kha moo (braised pork thigh with rice + chinese broccoli and boiled egg) and omg I was on cloud nine!! Can't wait to go back and try more. We were pretty surprised that it was empty inside when we went to pick the food up :( the people working there was sweet as hell too! we love this place so we really hope this review reaches the right audience. The crispy chicken skin app was delicious as well and we got two desserts to try because we couldn't decide which one to get. The fried banana was ok, like sweet egg rolls but the one that captured our heart was the sweet sticky rice with thai custard. Hallelujah it's delicious!!! Not too much at all, though I always love the mango version, this one is pretty dang good and a unique way to elevate the sweet coconuty sticky rice. Will fosho definitely coming back to try other street food dishes on the menu!!

Great pad thai and excellent spicy menu options. The spicy items are actually spicy just as a warning for those who can't handle it.

Fish cakes were small and perfectly uniform - almost like they were frozen rather than prepared on site. Green curry had some spice but was mostly one note, there just wasn't much depth of flavor. Vegetables were all cut in huge hunks - both dishes had giant pieces of red bell peppers and onions. Fried rice was pretty bland and barely had any Chinese broccoli in it. Ambiance was bare bones - you order at the counter and they bring you your food and plastic side plates. Half the tables were stacked with boxes and bags of takeout orders. To top it off there's no bathroom, we were told to use the bathroom at another local business. If I'm gonna spend $60 somewhere, I expect to be able to wash my hands before eating and use the restroom. Perhaps there are some specialty dishes that we didn't try but this was my 2nd time ordering from here (I got take out once before) and both times the food was pretty bland. A truly underwhelming experience - especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.

Thai ice tea - not overly sweet light and creamy after you mix it. Green Thai iced tea - more tea flavor shown thru this version i enjoyed this too! Larb chicken - amazing dish i really liked it, only comment would be maybe the minced protein toss some bigger diced chunks in too to soak up that cr*ck sauce! Basil chicken fried rice - spicy good flavor overall and chicken was plenty. I sort of was hoping they would have the signature like basil spice "glaze/sauce" they could do like other spots for basil dishes but they did not. It's good how it is though but if i was to get crispy chicken - def would need a sauce for my taste anyways. Red curry with salmon creamy extra spicy (you can choose spice level) salmon was cooked well in here and the flavor broth went so well soaked in the white rice! Bbq pork skewers - like your friends bbq where their folks went all out. Shoot perfect drinking food. Nampla chicken wings- really good fish sauce base wings! As a viet i love this style chicken wing. Glad we went with these over the fried batter version! Free shrimp crackers while you wait. Crying Tiger and their other sister shops all do well i feel. I ordered a clear soup ($7) to start that comes with tofu and veggies, and a house curry with vegan duck ($19). Both came out in about 5 minutes. The soup was forgettable, pretty bland, but at least veggies. The broth was extremely gentle, slightly garlicky but otherwise boring. The curry, however, was well-done. It came with broccoli, red and green pepper, and carrot, with plenty of vegan duck that had great texture. Not the most complex or decadent curry, but well done. Very friendly, hospitable and accommodating stuff. Very good spot for vegan-friendly Thai in Malden.

They are always so excellent and the noodles are bouncy and chewy! I usually get this with pork. - pad see ew: this is my favorite Thai noodle dish and it's no exception here. Not as spicy as the drunken noodles but just a massive portion of filling noodles, chicken/tofu, and Chinese broccoli. There's something about the way they do the sauce here that is just so savory and delicious. It feels less greasy than it usually does at other Thai places, which I really like - pad mee korat: my friend always get this and raves about it. We got Thaiger's Cloud Tea and mango sticky rice drink to start. We didn't order any appetizers this visit & instead focused on getting some entrees, plus a soup to share. We got the tom yum (shareable soup, enough for 3) & two entrees: Jaew Glazed rice with A5 Wagyu Steak & roasted curry with flat iron steak. The drinks were great! Not too sweet, just right. The tom yum soup was DELICIOUS. So much flavor & the lemongrass & galangal flavors were very apparent. Luckily, I do enjoy lemongrass! They ran out of their large prawns this day, so they substituted it for more jumbo shrimp. I would definitely get this again. Very good. For the Jaew glazed rice, with chose the A5 wagyu. The wagyu was torched in front of us, so that was cool. I believe this was likely American wagyu (since it wasn't specified on the menu I think?) but it only came with ~3 big cut slices but as expected for the price. Flavor was pretty good, not sure if would get it again though. My favorite was the roasted curry with flat iron steak! This was the dish I personally had and it was right up my alley. The curry had spinach mixed in & my steak was cooked how I wanted it, so I was a happy gal! I requested for sticky rice as my choice of rice and initially was given regular white rice. Once I told one of the staff members passing by, I was able to make the swap for the sticky rice. I LOVE STICKY RICE! It was the perfect pairing with the curry and steak. Their food is a little bit pricey but I think it's worth a try if you're looking for a more elevated Thai dining experience. I'd come back again to try some more of their dishes. The restaurant is very clean, including their bathrooms. They even have bidets, ha! Parking: there is street parking & municipal parking nearby.
