The service was incredible and everyone was so welcoming and the food and drinks were amazing. We were visiting from out of town and heard about this place so we decided to give it a try. The yellow tail, spider roll, and beef was definitely our favorite! Definitely a must visit here.

Based on the reviews this place seems to be hit or miss. Our regular Chinese restaurant is closed on Mondays so we decided to give Sei Bar a try ( we love the Everett location but it's too far for takeout). Portions are smaller than other places, but the food we got more than made up for it. Everything was fresh and tasted good. The pork fried rice really highlighted the pride and effort they take in their food, it was loaded with additional veggies. Chicken wings were a good size, well seasoned and well fried. The boneless ribs were tasty but too fatty for me, definitely need to trim off more of the fat but others may like that. Overall a decent option with good food and fast service. 3 stars instead of 4 because it's on the pricier side for takeout.

Picked up from this place for dinner and it was alright. We also drive by this place every week but never really noticed it until today and decided to give it a try since we're in a sushi mood. We got sushi duh and they're ok, no complaints except for the spicy scallop makis (they tasted a lil odd). We gave this place a 4/5 because 1. their spicy chicken wings aint spicy, it's saucey and sweet and we didn't know how to feel. 2. the spicy avocado salad which I was excited for, had more cucumbers than anything else (I was craving imitation crabmeat:( ) and yea it's a place that doesn't really focus on serving sushi & just Japanese cuisine. They also offer Chinese and Thai and Pan Asian dishes so next time, when we're in the mood for solidly sushi, we'd try another place.

Gyoza. They were so bad. Tasted like the ones from supermarket. Barely had any meat.

I understand inflation, but businesses are not the only ones hurting. People also work hard for their money and so the expectations are still high. If you go up on prices but still deliver great quality food, I'm okay with paying the extra bucks. But come on! I am disappointed at the food quality that Seibar is providing. Their prices are up and their Ingredients are less. A huge disappointment. I spend about $25.00 on a Medford roll and gyoza. The roll was skimpy and full of tempura crumbs just a few strings of crab meat. The gyoza was the same quality as a super market. I should have learned from the last time I ordered, but I had faith today the food was going to be excellent like it used to be.

Over the years we have ordered from Sei Bar Medford less and less frequently. In general the sushi and the cold sesame noodles were the only consistently good food. Last Sunday night, in an effort to support local business, we ordered some sushi, some cold sesame noodles, and some chicken broccoli for the kiddo. The food was less than mediocre. Sushi wasn't fresh and was seemingly hacked apart w a butter knife. But the kicker came when we found a cockroach in my daughters bowl of chicken broccoli. A COCKROACH. I called and they said they would refund, but then they didn't and I had to have GrubHub get in touch with them to process the refund. Wouldn't have ordered again based just on the food, but with the roach I feel (sadly) compelled to write a review.

Decided to give this local place a try during covid since it had a 4.8/5 on doordash. Have tried numerous sushi spots in the area and every single one is better than this. Absolute bottom barrel expired garbage. Would be shocked if I don't get sick from eating it. Sushi is not fresh, presentation is appalling. $50 for 3 disgusting rolls(Idaho, Medford, crazy) and microwaved vegetable rolls. Plastic bag soy sauce and rotting ginger provided complimentary.

Tried it for Uber Eats tonight and I don't think it was all the restaurants fault - my order was very delayed so my crab Rangoon was cold. I imagine it'd be great warm. Unfortunately I'm most upset that a "roll" of sushi is 4 pieces!! 4!!! That is not acceptable. I asked to add cream cheese, they did not. Avocado was brown, the whole thing wasn't good.

    Metal in my food.

All well worth it and very flavorful! I wanted mango sticky rice but they said they were all out. For my appetizer, I ordered the fried calamari and the golden bags, but both were disappointingly greasy--the food wasn't allowed to drain properly before being packed. There was literal grease seeping through my bag and I could taste it upon eating the appetizers. The calamari was also tough and didn't seem fresh, almost as if it wasn't real calamari at all. The golden bags had potential, but they would have been much better if the Thai aromatics had been marinated into the ground chicken instead of relying mostly on corn. For my main dish, I ordered the drunken noodles--absolutely fire. Flavorful, tasty, and very well done. I've been here several times before and usually find the food to be quite good. I stopped coming for a while because I felt the flavor quality had declined. If consistency in cooking and quality can't be maintained, customers will drift away. As someone who loves Thai food, I'm looking for consistent quality and a reliable flavor experience. Please make the appetizers tasty!

I highly recommend this place if you like spicy. I requested for extra spicy for the red curry with salmon & I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted actually spicy! Many Thai spots I've gone to tend to not deliver the level of spicy I'm looking for, so I'm happy I was able to get it here. Salmon was cooked perfectly & the curry was delicious. We loved the basil fried rice with chicken also. Flavorful & had a nice kick. Chicken was not dry either! The chicken laarb was addictive to eat. It had the right amount of citrus & spice. Generous portion too! Nampla wings reminded me of nuoc mam/Vietnamese fish sauce wings. I personally found the wings to be a bit dry but the sauce it came with really helped. Good flavor though. Lastly, both the Green iced Thai tea & regular iced Thai tea were solid. Not the best but still good. I'm a big fan of Green iced Thai tea & not many places offer this. We ordered the following; 1. 2-Lemon thai wings (6 pcs each): the wings were very crispy but there is flavor to it but there is sauce on side to dip. My boys enjoyed this. 2. Thai veggie curry puff: i enjoyed this as it reminded me of a Vietnamese pate chaud. 3. Tom yum hot & sour soup, chicken: hubby says it was a good, perfect balance of sweet & sour, slightly spicy 4. We tried a few different dishes during our visit. They started us off with a couple of unique side dishes on the house, which was a nice touch. For our meal, we ordered the chicken satay, a pad thai, and a curry with steak. The chicken satay, unfortunately, wasn't for us, the flavor was different than what we expected and we didn't end up finishing it, though others might like their interpretation. The pad thai was delicious, with a really generous portion size and great flavor. The real highlight of the night was the steak and curry. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, really tender and juicy. It went amazingly well with the rich curry. The curry had a slight, building kick to it that paired perfectly with rice and brought the whole dish together. We ended the meal with the mango sticky rice for dessert. It was presented beautifully with the rice shaped into a heart, and it tasted perfect, with it being not too sweet at all. The scoop of ice cream on the side paired with it really well. It's a solid choice for a nicer Thai meal with a cool vibe. While not every single dish was a home run for us, the highlights were genuinely excellent and made for a really enjoyable dinner.

I had been wanting to come here for some time, and glad I finally had the chance to!…read more I ordered the Thaiger claw as a drink which is a mojito without mint. Refreshing, but with so many cocktails on the menu, I'd likely try something else next time. Before getting into the food, I will say I really appreciated the display of the food and the little touches that made it feel like an elevated dining experience. For instance, the khao soy curry comes in a teapot that you pour over your noodles and chicken, and the A5 wagyu is flamed at the table so you can determine your preference level. The khao soy was delicious with a creamy broth that was flavorful and hearty. The sous vide chicken also made the dish feel a bit more healthy than usual khao soy. There were a good portion of noodles that were firm enough to be enjoyed despite all the broth. My only caveat is that this is a pretty spicy dish and even when I asked for mild it still had a kick to it. Delicious but spicy so I ordered a side of rice but overall it's so delicious that I'd still order it again. My husband's rice was also really flavorful and well balanced between the meat and the rice. Each bite felt like a nice combination of the two elements. The servers were also friendly and while it could be hard to get someone to come by at times, we were also there during peak dinner hours. This place gets pretty busy and often has groups so I highly recommend making a reservation. Even for just two diners I made a reservation and was glad I did. The restaurant heavily leans into the tiger theme which is also fun to see the different elements of it from decor to the staff's attire. I cant wait to come back and try more items from the menu.
