Fun Italian spot on the island! Best cheesy garlic bread ever! We were here in December so it was a quiet night but cute Italian decor. Also huge portions I'd even recommend splitting a pasta?? I couldn't finish my bolognese after the garlic bread!

Nice restaurant within Kiawah Golf Resort . Because the target audience is golfers expect to see a mix of dress between golf casual to business casual . The restaurant offers both indoor and patio seating and also has a space dedicated to the bar area that is separate from the dining room. We opted to sit at the bar and enjoyed the golf course views. The bar staff was friendly , efficient and accommodating . The menu did not have bruschetta but upon my request , the kitchen gladly accommodated and prepared us the most delicious classic bruschetta , it was delicious ! We also ordered the calamari which I was not a fan of due to the whole pieces of squid - we prefer the ring slices instead of whole squid so keep this in mind if you choose to order - there aren't many rings. For entrees we ordered "Nona's spaghetti and meatballs" which featured hand rolled meatballs , tomato pomodoro with grated Parmesan . We also ordered the shrimp linguini which came in a white wine butter sauce - both were delicious and filling ! Definitely a solid choice for an Italian meal within Kiawah Golf Resort . PARKING: large , free parking lot .

Had an excellent dinner here and they accepted last minute reservations. The chicken parm was delicious and I highly recommend the thick garlic bread and arancini. The tiramisu was also very light and paired well with the tiramisu martini. Atmosphere was nice and not loud.

Tomasso~ one of the Kiawah Island Resort's restaurants ~ offers old world style Italian dishes and pizzas but also incorporates Lowcountry locally sourced ingredients. The menu at Tomasso changes seasonally so check their website. Resort pricing here so not inexpensive. The Signature dishes include the hand rolled and homemade pastas. The selection of salads are unique and salmon, shrimp or chicken can be added if you choose to add some protein. The environment has a traditional golf club "clubby feel" with dark oak woods, vintage style sofas, bookcases and tables. The outdoor dining "veranda area" would be particularly appealing on a warm Southern evening. These tables have views of the 1st, 10th and 18th holes. There is a bar and grill area at Tomasso with a sizable bar and additional tables located to the left of the Hostess Stand.....great for lunch, drinks or snacks or for a fast "pit stop""and conversation after your golf round. Dinner is also served here as well. Tomasso can be found housed in The Turtle Point Clubhouse in East Beach. Lunch and Dinner. As it was a quiet night there was only one server in the Grill Room and the service was friendly and efficient. Please note Kiawah Island is a private island community with a gated entry so dining reservations will be needed ahead of time in order to gain access.

Amazing food (we got the pizza and chopped salad) and even more amazing service. Beautiful inside with a gorgeous view, must visit at Kiawah

We ate outside on the deck - which was nice. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We ended up with a late reservation due to the size of our group (8), and it seems that the bugs...and four legged furry creatures come out in abundance then. When we asked about the mice scurrying across the deck - we were told the resort is 'green' - I will note they did not come near us/table but were about 8ft away. First time for everything... Onto the drinks and food! I ordered a gin cocktail that was purple and delicious! For appetizers we ordered the burrata, Romano pizza, and the roasted garlic bread - all were very tasty! For dinner I had the local catch - which was mahi mahi. The fish was cooked appropriately and the vegetables were tasty. Overall a good, but not great, dish. Others at the table ordered the tagliatelle and noted it was really good. If I return here would likely go with one of the pasta dishes instead.

Every recommendation felt intentional, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic without being pushy. We started with the octopus and suppli, and both were standouts. The octopus was perfectly tender with a beautiful char, and the suppli had that ideal crisp exterior giving way to rich, creamy risotto inside. For mains, the duck agnolotti was pure comfort -- I would drink the sauce with a spoon if I could. The elk loin was cooked beautifully tender and balanced with the potato and broccolini. Make sure to be online at noon 2 weeks before to book a reservation quickly! I understand why it's such a hard place to get a reservation for but it's worth all the wait.

The building has an extensive history, even once serving as a Hebrew orphanage, to now being a beautiful restaurant. I love how the architects and interior design highlight the character of the building! The wallpaper on the main dining room on the second floor is truly gorgeous! For cocktails, we tried many! I got the almond sour (delicious) and my friends were pleasantly surprised they serve decaffeinated espresso martinis. My sister got a spritz, which she also enjoyed. I was also touched that the culinary team was kind enough to sign a birthday card for me. Our table also received complimentary cacio e pepe popcorn to snack on--yum! For appetizers, we got the tuna tar tar (Crudo di Tonno), the strawberry caprese salad, and some shrimp--all so delicious, that they FLEW off the plate! For mains, I got the Rotolo al Forno, which was VERY tasty. My friends got the chicken milanese, the Sorelle spaghetti, and the sworfish. For side dishes, we also got the meatball with polenta and some potatoes. For dessert, I got a complimentary birthday cannoli with a candle and the Limone (a berry and cream-filled dessert in the form of a lemon!) What. A. Meal!!! The food and the locale are just stunning. But of course, not cheap. As a whole, we paid a whopping $399.75 without tip! Was it worth it for a feast of glamour? I'd say so--but definitely not an every day treat unless you have the budget! Also, Lucy was our server and was exceptionally sweet and patient!

The restaurant is beautifully designed with an elegant atmosphere that still feels warm and inviting. The almond sour was excellent -- a delicious cocktail but a little sweet. The house bread was also a standout. We loved the apertivo plate for sharing. The Wagyu pizza was unique and flavorful. The Wagyu was a Wagyu carpaccio(I must have missed that part). The fresh pasta dishes were the stars for us, especially the pappardelle with braised rabbit and the "pillows of gold," which were rich, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Dessert was a little more mixed. The vanilla bean donut dessert was just okay. The olive oil cake was moist. Beautifully designed space, thoughtful menu, and definitely worth visiting in Charleston.

The foodies may remember Pan E Vino from its downtown Charleston days, but owner Alfredo has brought his culinary magic to Hollywood, blessing locals with genuine Italian charm and flavor. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully repurposed old firehouse and if you look up you'll still spot the original firehouse doors on the ceiling. The space is warm and rustic with an open kitchen, dim lighting, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It's perfect for a romantic date night, a family dinner, or even a girls' night out. I made a reservation for our group of four as I always like to let a restaurant know I'm coming ! As of November 2025, reservations can be made easily through the restaurant's website or by phone (they're not on Resy or OpenTable ). I received confirmation by both text and email almost instantly, which made the process seamless. The staff here work incredibly hard. Our server was also handling hostess duties, but she was gracious, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. For my meal, I went classic with the Spaghetti alla Bolognese which was rich, hearty, and full of flavor. I didn't leave a bite behind! I couldn't resist drizzling a little balsamic over it (because balsamic makes everything better), and it paired perfectly. I also sampled the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, featuring soft, homemade potato dumplings baked with the same luscious Bolognese sauce and melted buffalo mozzarella. If you're torn between the spaghetti or gnocchi, you can't go wrong either way because the bolognese sauce is delicious so it just depends on your mood! To finish the night, Alfredo himself came by with a pour of his homemade limoncello , bright, smooth, and the perfect sweet ending. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Pro Tip: Tuesdays are pizza nights only (no full menu), and on weekends they offer both pizza and their full selection. It's worth calling ahead if you have your heart set on a particular dish. Pan E Vino is a little slice of Italy in the country and I am here for it ! Go check them out !
