Great homemade pasta, delicious sauces. We had a variety pasta and sauces, everything was delicious. The pasta texture was just amazing, cooked to perfection. Their red wine was good as well. Definitely recommend if you want to do something other than seafood. Service was very friendly, seating outside was nice in nice weather. We had a great meal.

Put down your phone and just eat here! It's that damn good! During a recent trip, my wife and I ate here three times! All of the pasta is fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauces are tasty, flavorful, and plentiful. The garlic bread has a perfect texture and flavor. The Caesar salad salad is outstanding. Truthfully, this is an outstanding place to eat and such a little hole in the wall you would never expect it. The staff was always friendly, the chef is always eager to please, and overall, we were just thrilled. Obviously, we ate there three times in a short period of time! Do those about to nosh, I salute you! Note: for the record, on our third visit, we got it to go. The sauces, salad and garlic bread were all outstanding. The pasta had a little bit of an unusual flavor and we think that one of their pots had gone dry and the bottom had scorched. And when they had cooked the pasta in it, it picked up that burnt scorched flavor. Was not as pleasant as the previous two visits, but we think it was an honest mistake and we would not let that deter us from eating here again!

Pretty good food, not bad prices Only reason it's 4/5 and not 5/5 is because of the plastic cup/paper straw... if you're going to do recyclable silverware, plates, and straws- get reusable cups or something.

Such a great Italian spot in Folly Beach! You order at the counter, seat yourself, and then food is brought out to you when it is ready. This place has a casual feel and is perfect for a dinner at the beach. The woman working at the counter was so friendly and made sure order all of the must-trys on the menu. The garlic bread was out of this world! I enjoyed my pasta with a spicy Italian sauce as well as a local beer. They also have frozen bellinis and rosé which some of our group really enjoyed!

A sweet little restaurant with the BEST food!!! The meatballs, garlic bread, all the pastas and all the sauces were great! The pesto was a little bitter but it was still a good pasta! We also had the chicken parm panini, caprese, and fettuccini and absolutely loved it all. There's not a lot of tables so it wouldn't be great for a huge group but we went early and were able to get two tables together. They also have outdoor seating which would mean more seating but it was raining tonight. Will 1000000% be back

This hidden gem js a must when visiting Folly. Our friends told us how amazing it was, so we had to check it out for ourselves. It is a bit off the beaten path and I never knew it existed. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. A super low key, no frills type of place. Our server and the owner were as friendly as can be. After asking for suggestions from our server, we ordered the fettuccine alfredo, chicken parm panini and caesar salad. All of the pasta and sauces are made fresh daily. The food was cooked to perfection and the prices were extremely reasonable. I can't wait to try the almond arugula pesto next with the gnocchi or fusilli and shrimp. They also offer a mozzarella making class. Can't wait to check it out as well!

Who would've thought there would be a cute Italian restaurant tucked away on Folly? Alfredo's has a BYO pasta concept with friendly staff that serve you from a counter. The food is decent but would benefit from a little more flavor and seasoning. Regardless, we will keep Alfredo's on our list for the future!

Very affordable Italian food on Folly. Lots of pasta shape options that I hadn't heard of, which I found fun! My pasta was a little undercooked and the Carbonara was not super flavorful, but I would still recommend it if you're vacationing in the area and craving pasta.

My server Zach was very attentive and handled several tables with friendliness and ease. The ambience included nice- dark woods and light walls and due to the large sized dining room the space felt very open with plenty of room between tables. A giant wrap around bar seats and serves dinner as well. I arrived at 5:00 and by 6 o'clock, the place was filled in every area. The outdoor space with its own bar and several tables as well were bustling. The freestanding heaters were running so the outdoor area remained quite cozy uncomfortable. Popular dishes include the manicotti, Arancini, and baked rigatoni. Their signature dishes include homemade ravioli, spaghetti, and meatballs, clams and linguine. See what I mean ??? ...traditional Italian! Would return for the chicken Parm or the eggplant lasagna. of course there's also seafood dishes, including salmon, piccata.

Last week, we went right around 5:30 as they open at 4:30pm, thinking it would be quiet at that time boy were we wrong. Luckily it was only two of us so we did score a table! I was in the mood for a vodka martini-theirs is simply perfect! Started off with the prosciutto wrapped artichoke hearts. It is a great starter. For dinner, I went with my staple, the vodka sauce with penne. Typically I would do veal or even a meatball addition. This time I went with the hot sausage add on. It is now the new fav. The bread for the table is always wonderful especially to soak up the delicious sauce! I got a little extra sauce as I knew I would be taking the pasta home for leftovers. It made for an amazing 2nd meal. Thankful Mondo's is open again!

Nothing bad, but nothing that stood out either. For example, when my mother-in-law asked if they had Riesling, she responded, "No, our wine is very limited, which makes my job easier." It came off a little odd, but not a huge deal. The food and drinks were very good overall. One issue we had was with the tuna nachos. The menu says "blackened ahi tuna," so we expected it to be seared/rare, which is pretty standard. However, it came out fully cooked. When we mentioned it, the server said it's always prepared that way and not sushi-grade, so they don't serve it rare. That's totally fine--but the menu should definitely be clearer, because it was not what we expected. To her credit, she did offer to comp it if we didn't eat it, but we still ate it--it just wasn't what we had in mind. We also ordered lobster tails--five of us got the same entrée but with different sides. She seemed a bit scattered handling that, but everything did come out correctly, and again, the food itself was very good. The biggest issue came at the end. We asked about a military discount after the bill came out, so the check was adjusted. My uncle had already written in a tip on the original total. After the adjustment, the tip was changed, but it still came out to around 15%, which we felt was fair based on the service. After we left, our server actually chased us down the block asking what she did wrong and why we changed the tip. That was very uncomfortable and honestly unprofessional. It came across as if she thought she wasn't tipped at all, which wasn't the case. Because of that experience, we're adjusting our rating from what would have been 4 stars down to 3. Good food, nice atmosphere--but that final interaction left a bad impression.

Had a slight kick to it (spice wise) but very little evidence of actual seafood in it. After much debate about what to get for a main course (and after seeing what other patrons got at the bar where I sat), I decided to get the Moroccan salad with salmon. Again...it was good...not great. I cook way better salmon at home on a cedar plank over real charcoal, so maybe I'm being unfair here? I dunno. The salad itself was heavy on arugula, which I'm not a huge fan of. Which is odd, because I love the flavor of pepper! Anyway, the menu made it sound like it was more fennel-oriented, so... Ended up capping off the meal with the blackberry key lime pie. It was quite tasty. Not the best key lime pie I've ever had, but good. As to the atmosphere, it's nice. My girlfriend has actually convinced me several times that we shouldn't come here because we weren't dressed well enough. Well, let me just say: I saw several guys here wearing jeans, fishing shirts, and ball caps and they fit right in. So: not stuffy at all! Bottom line, it's a good, not great place to grab a meal. I love that it's off the beaten path (i.e., not close to Folly Road). Will def come back with my girlfriend next time. Might try the swordfish or maybe the meatballs next time.
