Rounding up to a 4 but I give tomato street a 3.8 :) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Going to Tomato Street is always nostalgic for me. I've come to this restaurant since I was a kid with family. Vibes are on point here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food can be hit or miss depending on what you order. I ordered the chicken fettuccine and felt something was missing as it was a bit bland. My mom got the eggplant parmigiana and also said she prefers other things on the menu since this was not impressive. But we loveee the free garlic bread and loved our appetizer (baked artichoke spread). The appetizer and free bread was my favorite part. Service also is a hit or miss. Front end staff was friendly and communicative. As for our waitress...she wasn't rude but was def not happy. She could not bring herself to even fake smile and she honestly looked like she did not want to be there at all. My water was never refilled sadly. I've been a waitress so I understand busy nights can be stressful but if you don't want to show up to work then don't. I just didn't enjoy her demeanor it kind of dampened my mood. This was my first time seeing my mom in years and it would've been nice if we had a friendly waitress...The vibes would've been better lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is large with plenty of booths and tables for larger groups and birthday groups. Family friendly environment with cozy dim lighting and fun decor. Tables are cleaned and then have a sheet that is used as dining table cloth and coloring area for the kiddos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Servers color their name on the sheet so it's helpful to remember. Fun family friendly restaurant that has pizza, pasta, app, drinks, desserts, and merch too! I will recommend and return mainly for the nostalgia :)

I went here when visiting my friend in Spokane Washington and I would say it is a place you must stop by if you are craving Italian food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is super spacious and has a playful, welcoming vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are chalkboards to write your name on, and the tables are covered in paper with crayons; perfect for keeping kids entertained while you wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was fast and friendly, always coming by and asking if the food was made to your liking. They even offered to comp one of our drinks since they didn't add the extra strawberry Purée by accident. The Bruschetta was amazing. The bread had that perfect crisp, the creamy pesto softened it just right, and the tomatoes were firm and sweet. The street steamers were my favorite appetizer, seafood is always a hit or miss, but they nailed it! I loved squeezing lemon over the clams, scooping them with bruschetta bread, and dipping everything into the sauce. Big serving which could feed a party of four. The baked artichoke spread was good, but my least favorite of the three appetizers. Simple dish with good flavor, but couldn't compare to the other two dishes. For my main dish, I had the Cajun Mostaccioli and it was delicious. Huge portion and perfectly seasoned. The bell peppers really brought out the Cajun spice, and the combo of pasta, sausage, and chicken was spot on. Easily shareable for two. For my drink I had the Strawberry funnel cake Martini. Great drink and it tasted exactly like a Knotts berry farm funnel cake. Couldn't taste the alcohol.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a fun spot for a family outing for sure, good energy and food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the raspberry poppy salad and it did not disappoint, super fresh! The waiters could have been a little more attentive but other than that it was not too bad!

Tomato Street is one of the best restaurants in town! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambiance of the place - with the unique decorations, to the cool hats on the servers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've also never had a rude server here either, both at this location and the one in Coeur D' Alene. The food here is absolutely to die for. I'm a bit of a picky eater myself, but the Brick Oven Bollas are truly incredible! My family loves the tomato soup and mozzarella sticks. The meatball sandwich is also very good. Thank you Tomato Street for your awesome food!!

We stopped by for a late lunch early dinner and were seated immediately. Staff was very friendly and pretty attentive! We got the chicken parm, make your own pasta dish, mozzarella sticks, and the complimentary bread that comes with your meal! All in all, the food was good and I would definitely come back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seems like a great place to bring your family with children as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Seating area, tomato decor, paperlined tables for coloring

The service was amazing, one of the hosts overheard my son asking about more play dough and told him he can snag another bag on the way out to take home, my son was so excited. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My kids loved the paper lined table to draw on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The kids menu is affordable, about $8 per dish. We had their bruschetta appetizer and this was the BEST. It came with a dipping sauce but honestly you can eat just the bread with how flavorful it is. I ordered their strawberry funnel cake cocktail and it smelt and tasted like the real thing. Definitely recommend it if you like sweet cocktails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We used to come to tomato Street 20 years ago when I was young and I loved how nostalgic it is between the chalk walls, tomato can decor, tomato flooring, playdough, and paper lined tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was affordable and the food was amazing, the staff were super attentive. We loved it

I've always wanted to stop here but never did until recently. We stopped for dinner and were not disappointed. We had about a 15 minute wait and were seated by a very friendly hostess. Our waitress arrived to our table promptly and took our drink orders, bringing them out quickly. Our waitress was also very friendly and attentive. She took our food order and checked on us often. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer to start, and it was cooked to perfection. I do wish the portion would have been a little bigger, but I have zero complaints about the flavor. We were all very happy with the way our food arrived. It was hot and looked and smelled delicious. The menu isn't the biggest, but the prices are reasonable and the ambiance is welcoming. We were there on a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy and lively, appearing to be close to full capacity which is always a good sign. We have already planned to stop and eat there again on our next trip to Spokane. All in all, we had a great first experience at Tomato Street!

    Cute way servers greet you

A deeper dive showed a good possibility of gluten free options, so I made the reservation. I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. I will surely go back the next time I am in town.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!

The restaurant itself is located at the bank of the river in Spokane, so it is in a nice, appealing location. The service was actually a lot faster than I had expected and at first, that made me a little bit more weary. I liked that I was able to order a slice of any of the toppings and I could order a whole pizza and have half of one kind of topping and half as another kind of topping. It allowed me to try three different toppings. The Green Goddess was excellent and I highly recommend it. The Sausage Arugula had really well made homemade sausage and I would definitely get it again. I also got the chicken pesto which was flavourful and also amazing. The pizzas were Neopolitan style and were cooked very well. Prices however are pretty steep for pizza. I had one whole pizza (two different toppings) and two slices and was close to $50. Definitely not somewhere I would go regularly because of how expensive it is, but otherwise the food is great!

The menu was pretty straightforward with various pizza and sandwich options. Decided to order the "whole" sandwich which as a pretty big serving. It felt like I had ordered two sandwiches, and was able to eat one half for lunch and one half for an early dinner. The sandwich itself was well made and the meat was not too dry, which was great. The au jus was nicely flavoured and not too salty, which I enjoyed. They used a liberal amount of onions (although, I could have gone for more!) and otherwise had the sandwich assembled very nicely. Along with the au jus, the sandwich had a very good complement. Definitely a French Dip I approve of.
