Cheese Ravioli with "Meat" Sauce Side Salad

*Take out order* If you're looking for generic, expensive Italian food, this is your place. The food was edible and that's about it. What you see in the photo was $20... TWENTY DOLLARS. I somehow paid extra for "meat sauce" but it was just a red sauce. The ravioli was flavorless and had absolutely no filling. This place is a pass, and I'm disappointed to say so...

First time here with a local friend who was attracted to this place because they offer spiraled zucchini as the pasta option. There is no other restaurant that I have ever been to in CA that offers this. Way to go! We were promptly seated on a lates Sunday night and waited a bit to have our order taken. Warm bread rolls came with lovely whipped butter. The roll is almost a burger bun shape. For dinner, I ordered the seafood ravioli with Alfredo sauce and a side meatball. I always try the meatball to compare to hubby's. Hubby is the winner still. Just not quite as tender as I'm used to. The sauce is thick, garlicky and seasoned well and the ravioli pasta is unfortunately thicker than I prefer. The filling was fine. The menu said the filling included cream cheese which I hope was a mistake because real Italian ls use ricotta cheese right? Our friend's zucchini noodles were a hit. She said it was very good. It was nicely cooked and the color of the zucchini was cool. Rigatoni with a bit of spice in the marinara along with the homemade Italian sausage was okay. It's a big portion that hubby brought back to eat later. I'd come again because it's nice to have homemade Italian food once in awhile and the zoodles option is fantastic!! I love that you can create your own pasta meal bit by bit. Please support this local business!

Mary and I stopped in here for dinner tonight( we were greeted and seated and menus, water, and bread rolls came right out. Thirty minutes later no one had come by to take our order, so we left. There were more empty tables than full ones, if they were short staffed, a simple acknowledgment of such and letting us know they would get to us as soon a possible would have sufficed.

Came for their restaurant week menu tonight. Fried seafood ravioli was delicious, a little too much breading but good flavor. 8/10. I got the spaghetti carbonara, the pancetta was good, pasta very sticky with egg, not a bunch of sauce. I have had creamier carbonara's, but it was good 6.5/10. My boyfriend got the crab lasagna, it was very cheesy and a large portion. Of course it wasn't stuffed with crab, but for $22 restaurant week it was definitely worth it!! 8/10. The place was popping, very busy. All the servers were bustin their bums. Dessert was amazzingggg 10/10. Tiramisu was the best, but the crème brûlée was delicious as well. Overall definitely recommend coming here for restaurant week February 24th - March 5th.

Great service, delicious pizza, awesome salad The photo doesn't do it justice except to show it was so delicious we could only eat half, which we chowed down before we thought to take a picture. The huckleberry margarita, unblended, was a bit sweet for for my taste, but it definitely packed a punch. We'll definitely be back!

Homemade pasta with alfredo, Seafood Fettuccine, the Minestrone Soup was the best I've had aside from Nonna's, same for Tiramasu!

Strange thing happened on the adventure to seek out some popular and sold out beer…read more I called 1616 Wine Cellar at 2:00 p.m. August 27th and ask the woman that answered my call whether she has a stout beer made by Icicle called Dark Persuasion. I had told her the manufacturer in Leavenworth, Washington was able to tell me that they supply to only two places in Spokane and 1616 is one of them. She looked in her computer and returned to the phone and stated they don't have any. That they've been sold out for at least a couple weeks and we're waiting for another shipment. Then she says she has a different flavor though. And I'm assuming we were still speaking about the manufacturer "Icicle" who creates several types of beer with such integrity and smoothness. She said it's a s'mores flavor and she likes it. It's her "go-to when dark persuasion wasn't available" she says. She got my interest and I replied that I should probably come by and try that, assuming we are still speaking about a product made by the manufacturer icicle. Then she says "Oh wait a minute, I was wrong. We actually have a case of Icicles Dark Persuasion". So that relieved me that they weren't just a tavern or lounge where they sell only a single bottle or a can of beer or just single glasses of wine. I'm thinking perhaps this is more of a wine and liquor store. So I said yes please, put my name on that case I'll come by and pick it up . She says she will have "the fellow working with her" put my name on it . Then there was a gap in the conversation since I was curious if she was even going to ask me my name. She didn't so I offered it . She says again "okay I'll have the fellow working with me put your name on it then" . I'm getting ready to get in the car to make that drive during rush hour and I called them back to make sure she actually was able to put eyes on this case of beer she said she had actually found on her computer. It rang until the answering machine requested I leave a message. I got in the car and started driving anyway and called them 15 minutes later and it did the same thing . I figured I'll have the s'mores as she recommended since we were talking about icicle beer and how much we both enjoyed the dark persuasion . I fight traffic for approximately 5 MI getting to their location during rush hour and I walk into their establishment and it is a sit-down and enjoy your drink type establishment. Red flag, was she really on the same page as myself regarding picking up a case of beer? I asked the fellow working behind the counter if he could bring the case of a dark persuasion by icicle and that his coworker had put my name on it. He returned from the back with a six pack that had two beer already taken out of it. He had four beer for me. I stated that she said she had a 12 pack and my name is going on it. He walked past me to a cooler and was able to pick out eight singles in their cooler. Two additional red since she broke down the case, do they not sell cases? And if she broke it down and put eight in the cooler did she really disregard as fast as the conversation I just had with her happened to put my name on it?

The dining room itself is beautiful--chic seating, a classic-meets-modern look, and a gorgeous tall bar. Definitely a space with personality. They offer a five-course tasting menu, which initially caught my attention. I tried to get a better idea of what was included since the menu doesn't really disclose the courses. I'm not sure if the ambiguity is intentional, but unfortunately my waiter didn't do a great job explaining it either, so I ultimately decided against it. I did watch the table next to me go through the tasting menu, and while I understand tasting-menu portions are naturally smaller, these looked particularly tiny to me. I wasn't super hungry anyway, so I kept things simple with the mushroom risotto and green salad. Both were delicious--the risotto was flavorful and well executed, while the salad tasted fresh and high quality. I also had the only rosé offered by the glass, an Oregon wine that happened to be well rated on Vivino, and really enjoyed it. Overall, a good experience. Everything I actually ate was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is probably the biggest standout for me. I'd be curious to come back, and hopefully get a little more guidance on the tasting menu next time.

It was a pretty drink and happy I ordered it. The second one, I asked the owner what he would suggest and his suggestion was the Harvey Wallbanger (Tito's vodka, Galliano, and OJ). For an appetizer, we ordered their Gouda Stuffed Cremini Mushrooms & Bacon (served in a seasoned cast iron skillet). These were absolutely delicious! For entrees, we ordered Hand-Pressed French Onion Burger without the bun (hand-pressed patty, provolone cheese, caramelized onions, on an onion bun with arugula and Au Jus for dipping). This burger patty was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It also came with a nice side salad (other choices were chips or soup of the day). The other entree choice was their Pan Seared Salmon salad (served on a bed of spring mix with pears and a blood orange vinaigrette). The salmon is Alaskan salmon, not Atlantic salmon and the vinaigrette was perfect. We really enjoyed our visit and (as we were leaving) started planning our next visit to try out some more appetizers and take advantage of their happy hour specials (specifically the $2 off appetizers).
