Really cool place next to the slopes. The gondola ride is free to go on that takes you to this spot. We sat outside at the bar area to enjoy the view and cool weather. Inside had a cool vibe too with great country music! Grabbed a blonde beer and some Parmesan fries, it was a perfect break from the snow!

A good lunch here. Menu has standard fare pub/bar items, sandwiches, burgers, etc. So if you are looking for a place with outside seating options, great views, good service, then Tomboy is worth considering. Inside the bar area is comfortable. Friendly bartender.

Great atmosphere for small groups . Lounge area is cozy and drinks are unique. Location was feet away from ski in from mountain. I had shrimp and grits .

    Trout

A co-worker and I had dinner there. We both ordered the trout which was exceptional. Our server Gabby was super....she was fun and attentive. One of the workers, Holly stood out, we watched her work her tail off relocating all the outdoor patio items by herself....kudos to her!

Service was great and the burger was solid. A little pricey for what it was but it's Telluride so that's just kind of how it goes. The view outside was wonderful.

I don't give 5 stars often but for the price and the amazing food and the best bloody I've ever had they get 5 stars. Their bear trap Bloody Mary 24oz, bacon, shrimp, pickle, celery, olive medley, peppercini is the best thing ever. I forgot to get photos of their Parmesan truffle fries and nachos but those absolutely amazing!!

We really loved this place. Went back a second night. First night we got shrimp and grits split between me and my husband. Was amazing everything tasted great. Second night we got wagyu meatloaf. It was so good. Would definitely recommend.

Hostess was extremely rude! Food was mediocre and overpriced for what it was. There are much better places around.

Overwhelmed by food. Underwhelmed by service…read more A bartender where we had dinner recommended this place for after dinner drinks. When I saw some of the menu I wanted to try a couple of things. The deviled egg sounded intriguing & I saw the lemon cake was GF. The deviled egg came out like something you would see at a Michelin starred restaurant. The deviled egg was served in the eggs shell with a custard at the bottom and egg white foam on top. It tasted just like a deviled egg but super unique. The lemon cake was great too. My drink was like a vesper with grapefruit flavors, it was really good. I love how the space is very warm and cozy like you'd see at a mountain resort, a fireplace, couch, etc. What was underwhelming was the service, it just didn't measure up to the food, drinks and ambiance. We had to walk up to the bar to get our waters filled so it felt kind of self service, like you had to get up and ask for things. Mind you, there were 4 people seated there including us. And when I asked what made the lemon cake GF the bartender said he'd go & ask the kitchen but he said no one was there so he didn't know so I rolled the dice & ordered it anyways. I still would come back just not expect great service.

If I were single and lived in Telluride, I'd literally just pop myself in a couple nights a week to sip wine in the lounge-style seating area to soak in the atmosphere and meet some new friends. Cocktails - out. of. this. world. I had the gin drink and my partner had the Woody Manhattan (their take on a black Manhattan). Both were phenomenal. Wine List - seriously, I was so impressed with this list. Not only was it EXTENSIVE, but there were a LOT of reasonably priced, very good bottles. Bartenders - Ian, Ruven, and Lilly were all incredible. They were attentive, engaging, knew the menu, and, again, the drinks were on point! Food - hands-down, their charcuterie board is the winner here. The selection of meats and cheese was excellent and the quality was right on par. Elk tartare was unique and smokey, and the trout rillette was *chef's kiss.* There were only two disappointing items: The flatbread - Ruven pointed out that it wasn't exactly "flat," but we ordered it anyway. It was thick and pretty dense compared to what you're expect. The second item was the baguette served with the charcuterie board - it was very stale. As someone who LOVES bread, I was disappointed that it didn't match the rest of the experience, especially because good bread is clutch for a chacuterie board.

One of the biggest perks is that dogs are welcome inside as long as they're on a leash, which was a huge plus for us traveling with Luna. I ordered the peach vodka slushy, and it was delicious--light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. The bartender was incredibly friendly, helped us choose our drinks, and took the time to chat with us for a bit. Based on his recommendation, we even ended up buying a bottle of bourbon to take home. They don't serve food, but they do have small bags of chips available if you want a quick snack while enjoying your drink. We also learned that Telluride allows open containers in designated areas, so you can take your drink to go if you purchase it from a participating establishment, which was a fun bonus. The décor is warm and inviting, and the overall atmosphere made us want to stay longer. Excellent drinks, outstanding service, and a dog-friendly environment--highly recommend stopping in if you're visiting Telluride!

The inside of the restaurant is warm and cozy. The outside has beautiful fire pit seating. We sat inside. Our server Reka was professional and attentive. Very knowledgeable about the menu and what options were available. Her assistant, An, was so sweet and friendly. He always had a smile on his face and even offered to take our photo when I pulled out my phone. The table was beautifully appointed. Every item we ordered was delicious. We started with the Cheddar Biscuits- grilled benton's bacon, pimento cheese, pickled onion. Very tasty. I ordered the king trumpet pasta and added chicken. The chicken was tender and the pasta dish had good flavor. My husband ordered the salmon with Risotto. He orders salmon quite often and said this was one of the best salmon dishes he has ever eaten. Our friends ordered the shorts ribs as well as a salad and added chicken. Both really enjoyed their meals. I would say they could have done a better job with the martini. I called the restaurant about 5 days prior to my Rez and they were able to accommodate adding two to my party. An already great start to my experience without stepping foot into the restaurant. The exterior and interior of the building are way cute but holy cow did the food shine here. My friend and I shared the French onion soup, the steak tartare, and the filet mignon entree. Literally all 10s. I would say don't skip the soup or the filet. The soup was so rich with flavor and honestly might be the best rendition I've ever had. The filet had this amazingly rich sauce and it was paired with bites of lobster. I haven't stopped thinking about it. The steak tartare was also so good. The gondola ride and panoramic mountain views are breathtaking and were, without question, the highlight of our evening. Unfortunately, the dining experience itself didn't live up to the reputation or the price. Our dinner for two, including gratuity, was approximately $325, and we expected the level of food, service, and attention to detail that comes with a premier fine-dining restaurant. The meal started with promise. The lump crab corn soup was creamy and flavorful, but despite its name, there was barely any lump crab. I found myself searching for it throughout the bowl. It was enjoyable, but I expected much more considering the description and the caliber of the restaurant. The hamachi crudo was also underwhelming. While it was beautifully presented, the flavors were forgettable and lacked the freshness and balance we expected. My boyfriend summed it up best when he said he wouldn't even rank it as "okay." Unfortunately, the entrées never reached the "wow" factor that so many reviews led us to expect. My Dayboat Alaskan Halibut was slightly dry, and while the fish was well seasoned, the accompaniments were so tangy that they completely overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish. My boyfriend's Pan Seared Elk Sirloin was cooked beautifully, but the purée served alongside it simply wasn't very good and didn't complement the meat. Neither entrée left us saying, "We'd come back just to order that again," which is exactly the feeling I hope to have after spending over $300 on dinner. Dessert was enjoyable, but it wasn't enough to change our overall impression. My boyfriend's Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake was the better of the two desserts, while my seasonal peach tart was pleasant but not particularly memorable. Like the rest of the meal, both desserts were beautifully presented, but the flavors didn't leave a lasting impression. The service also lacked the attention to detail expected at a restaurant of this caliber. Our server never brushed the crumbs from our table between courses, and although I had clearly noted on our reservation that we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, no one ever acknowledged it with a simple "Happy Birthday." We weren't expecting a complimentary dessert or special treatment, but recognizing a special occasion is a thoughtful touch that many fine-dining restaurants consistently provide. The atmosphere was also disappointing. I understand Telluride embraces a relaxed mountain culture, but guests were dining in flip-flops, which took away from what should have felt like a special-occasion dining experience. Even more concerning, the woman seated next to us was vaping inside the restaurant. It became bothersome enough that I finally got up and politely asked her to stop myself. I was surprised that the staff never noticed or addressed it. Guests should never have to intervene in that situation. Overall, we left feeling that we paid for the incredible location and views more than the food or service. The scenery is unquestionably five stars, but the dining experience simply didn't justify the price. Allred's has a five-star view, but in our experience, the food, service, and overall atmosphere fell well short of the reputation that brought us there.
