My husband and I came here yesterday for dinner. First of all, we had a WONDERFUL server! I forgot her name but she was just amazing. She was so personable, informative, and actually seemed like she cared which you don't always get! My husband and I got the 'Breaking Bread' appetizer which had some delicious bread and dips. One was garlic butter which they need to sell a jar of - I would pay big money for it! The others are a fig jam and pesto dip which were also great. We also got the 'Watermelon No-ito" drink and "Summer Solstice" lemonade which were non-alcoholic drinks and super delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the 'BBQ Meatloaf' which came with green beans, corn and mashed potatoes and he really enjoyed this. I don't remember the exact dish's name I had but it was Spicy Rice Noodles with vegetables. It was also very good! Lastly, we did get dessert. Honestly, we were SO stuffed and should of passed but they all sounded so good! I got the 'Berry Crisp'. Coming from someone who don't care for Oatmeal cookies, this was good. The fruit on this was super fresh. My husband got the 'Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet' which is enjoyed. Keep in mind, that dish was pretty big and could have shared between the both of us. I went on Thanksgiving and got diarrhea from their buffet. I got food poisoning. The spoons used to grab the food was already dirty and filthy. They didn't change any of the spoons. Some of the food was already preheated. The pasta that they refilled was cold! The staff should regularly be checking temperatures as well as changing utensils. They didn't do that. A lot of the spoons you used to grab food was dirty. read more

On a random Saturday afternoon as my son was at a birthday party at Lifetime I decided to check this place out. It wasn't busy so grabbed a seat at the bar. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken (Nashville Hot). Gotta say it was pretty darn good. They have a menu for everyone - burgers, seafood, ribs, pasta, soups and salads. I tried Redstone American Grill for the first time with friends a few weeks ago. We were a group of five and came in towards closing time. Our waitress took care of us. She was friendly and overall it was great service. I enjoyed my food. I ordered the Redstone Burger. The ingredients were fresh and the burger tasted good. One friend ordered a special that day, Chicken Cavatappi, and said it was really good. My husband was disappointed with his Spicy Thai Noodles though. He said it was bland. There weren't many vegetarian options on the menu. We had a great time together. The ambiance and vibe is nice there, but it's not a repeat for me and if I'm with my husband or a vegetarian. read more

Whenever I go down to the Bridgewater/Somerville area I always see this restaurant in the skyline and decided I had to try it at least once. For drinks, I got the Long Island Iced Tea and my wife got the Rose Sangria, which were both quite good. When deciding on appetizers, I had heard their Cornbread was fantastic, so of course our group had to get it and I have to say, the other reviewers were on-point with this recommendation. Served hot and very fluffy - we really enjoyed this and I would highly recommend getting. Nice huge portion size too and great for sharing. We tried a variety of different entrees though most of our group stuck to sandwich and burger items. None of it was bad but nothing really stood out either. Probably if I were come again I would try something different. Service was great too, our waitress was very polite and patient. Our server was attentive and friendly, but Redstone did not deliver on their prices. The next time someone suggests going to Redstone, I'm out. We got the flatbread, Thai noodles, chicken salad, Brussels sprouts, calamari. All of it was underwhelming, made with no love. I pushed the jicama from my salad off to the side being that it tasted like it was about to turn. I wish we had turned towards a local, small business restaurant instead of this overpriced chain restaurant. The atmosphere is clean and nice, and I'm sure they will do just fine without my business. The day after, I just feel like a sucker for paying what we did for that mid-level quality food. Side note, I did not get sick from the suspicious jicama. So that's a win, of sorts. read more

This location is the first time I tried this restaurant and it was quite good. I went with some friends and we had the bang bang cauliflower which is really tasty. A little heat, sauce is good and they throw sesame seeds on the bites, overall tastier than most bites I've had. For my entree I had the rotisserie chicken which comes with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Good sized portion of chicken which I got with BBQ and it was as my wife would say yummy. The asparagus was grilled and tasty, the mashed potatoes were good, I liked the consistency, taste was good and they threw some scallions on top which was fun. Wound up at Redstone American Grill at Bridgewater Mall since other restaurants we had wanted to go all had extensive waits despite it being a mid-week evening. The interiors and menus are slightly more upscale than other chain restaurants, but very expensive cocktails/drinks make it a somewhat expensive dining experience. We ordered several appetizers to start off and burgers and crispy chicken sandwiches as our main meals. The wings (3.5/5), were well prepared and tasty with tender chicken and decent buffalo sauce. The crispy chicken sandwich (4/5) tasted great and hit the spot. The fries (2.5/5) that came with it were the thin variety that I usually like, but were a bit too salty for my tastes. Service (2.5/5), while highly professional and friendly, wasn't the best as our waiter often forgot things we requested and we had to wait quite a bit in between drink refills. Overall, it was a decent meal, but for the price and offering, Redstone American Grill didn't impress me enough to make me choose it over other restaurants I prefer in the Bridgewater area. read more

Went to Red Stone on a whim with a group of girlfriends last night. Have heard so many great things and was super excited, but left somewhat disappointed. To start, they had a super cute, holiday drink themed menu, which I appreciated. Between the 4 of us, we tried them all, and everyone seemed impressed, but that was really it. For appetizers, we ordered the meatballs and cornbread skillet. I was so excited for sweet cornbread with maple butter, until it arrived. The cornbread had little green pieces (which I was later told was jalapeño) in it, and not only were the green pieces greasy, the inclusion of jalapeños was mentioned NO WHERE in the menu. I went from thinking I would eat the whole skillet by myself, to barely eating any. Later on, I asked the server if it was possible to get the cornbread without the jalapeños, and he told me no because it was premix into the batter. No problem, but why not include that big detail in the menu? Strange. Moving on, for dinner we all ordered different items: the Fig and Prosciutto flatbread, Prime Rib, Salmon with Asparagus and I got the Grilled Sea Bass with fries instead of rice. The Sea Bass was amazing, nice and flakey, I just wish it was more filling. We skipped on dessert, but I can't lie that when I left, I was still super hungry. The drinks were amazing, but the appetizers and serving sizes definitely fell short. read more

It is located in the Bridgewater Commons Mall lot (not attached to the mall), so needless to say there is plenty of free parking. Service was quick & with a smile. The interior is new & is a step up from your average chain restaurant, but yet you'd still be comfortable being casual here. For food we had Redstone's Lodge Cornbread, which was perfect! Too many places just do not get cornbread right. This is skillet cornbread with a maple butter. Honey Cider Bacon Brussels Sprouts, also incredible. We destroyed them! Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, which comes in a few flavors, in tonight's case it was Hot Honey. A definite winner. The Redstone Burger was good, but nothing too special about it. Parmesan Crusted Red Snapper was a bit of a let down, as it was basically more like a fried fish cutlet, rather than "crusted." Last was the Carrot Bolognese....INCREDIBLE, but the serving portion of it is very small. You do not get a lot of bang for your buck with this dish, unfortunately. Drinks were White Sangria & Long Island Iced Tea. Both were good, but not very strong. The main point is.....Would I come here again? ABSOLUTELY! This place used to be so good. The prices have jumped dramatically and the portions are smaller. You can see photos of the old menus. Take a look. The breaking bread came with a full loaf of bread and free extra bread with three sauces for $9. NOW it is $13.95 and you get 3/4 of a loaf and extra bread is $3. They give you a lot of sauce. SO naturally you need more bread. The extra bread is not even a full loaf. Severe shrinkflation here. The regular food quality is good. Staff is nice and inside looks good. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant after my group and I almost walked out. We had reservations for Tuesday, February 25, 2025 for 16 people. I was one of the last individuals to arrive and based on the squeezed seating, it would have been an uncomfortable experience. I asked for an additional table to be added, for everyone to be comfortable, and they said they didn't have one. I told them the one next to us could easily be moved over and again they said they couldn't do that because they were expecting another party. I then told the manager that they would have plenty of tables when we walked out! She then accommodated my request. I am recommending the restaurant because the servers were excellent and the food was very good. The story isn't over... After the table was moved and we were all seated, another table magically appeared for the other group that was next to us. Our bill was $1,346.14 and as stated above the service and food was excellent. However, I do not like being lied to (we don't have another table), therefore we will never come back here again. read more

Went to Red Stone Grill the other night and thought it was okay. I will say the service and staff were great. Our server was very nice and also patient since we spent so much time talking/catching up, we didn't get to our menus right away. The restaurant itself is really nice. There's plenty of seating and they offer outdoor seating as well. The food was okay. The rotisserie chicken wasn't bad, but I personally would not get it again. (Not pictured) our friend's chicken sandwich arrived with several small pieces of chicken that fell out of it deeming it difficult to eat. Our server agreed it was not properly made and gladly brought out another. My husband's short rib dish was good. If I went back, that's probably what I'd order. read more

I've been here a couple of times to meet up with my girlfriends, have a quick bite and a cocktail. It's a nice place with a large bar area. I always sit at the bar. It's roomy and it's nice to interact with the bartender and my friends. The decor is warm and modern, with wood all around. If you don't want to sit at the bar, they have booths too. Outside there's seating and wood burning tables which adds to their ambiance. I started with a cocktail. I chose their SEASONAL DOLI- Fresh Pineapple Aged with a combination of juices. It was wonderful. Redstone Grill ages fresh pineapple in New Amsterdam Vodka for 12-14 days. The first time I was here I had their SMOKEHOUSE STEAK COBB SALAD- Applewood Smoked Bacon, Corn, Grilled Asparagus, Red Onion, Tomato, Gouda, Smoked Onion Ranch dressing. It was delicious and filling. On my return I chose for my entree, GENERAL TSO'S TURKEY BURGER-Sweet & Spicy General Tso Sauce, Broccoli Slaw, Grilled Red Onion. For my side I chose Garlic Mashed Potatoes. You could also choose from one of these other sides, French Fries, Mac n Cheese,Coleslaw, or Baked Beans. This turkey burger had great flavors. The broccoli slaw, and grilled onions added multiple layers of flavors along with the sweet & spicy sauce which makes up the name General Tso's . One of my friends chose their REDSTONE BURGER-A Beef Patty, Cheddar Cheese, Barbecue Sauce, Applewood Smoked Bacon. She chose Fries Fries for her side. Another friend chose their TURKEY CHEESEBURGER- Turkey burger with melted cheese, lettuce and tomato. Last but not least my other friend chose their TUNA STACK-Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, Mango, Cucumber, Spicy Thai Sauce,Green Onion, Black & White Sesame Seeds, Sriracha Aioli, Fried Wonton Chips. Asparagus was large and too hard to eat. Short rib was tender and delicious. Portion of mashed potatoes could have been more. We wanted appetizers and our server suggested a tapas appetizer that had a small portion of fried green beans, 4 jumbo shrimp, 4 hamburger sliders and about 6-8 wings. Not a huge amount of food. Shocked to say the least when the bill came and noticed this appetizer was $75!!!!! We had chocolate cake and key lime pie for dessert. They were huge and delicious. We all shared and it was just enough. Service was great but holy cow the prices. Not sure I'll go back. I'd like to start by saying everyone working here was excellent and friendly. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but I didn't, and neither did my kids. Maybe it was an off day but to start we got our drinks and my daughter grabbed the lemon off of my water, only to hand it back to me and say never mind, there was a thick, curly black hair attached to my lemon. I had already had a sip of the water. The waiter took it back, apologized, and had the manager come over too. Next I got the Petite Prime Rib. There was a choice of Horseradish, blue cheese, or parmesan Crust. I said it's down to blue cheese or parmesan, I'll go with parmesan, the waiter didn't hear me and he repeated blue cheese and I didn't correct him bc I do like both. The primerib was not good at all. I ordered it rare, which it was cooked rare, but it just wasn't good, and the blue cheese which I like definitely did not compliment this at all, it's a very weird, off taste. The garlic Mashed potatoes which I normally love had a very weird, off taste / flavor as well. The Mac n cheese which my daughter and I both ordered was very bland, no flavor at all. The only difference between the kids Mac n cheese and adult order is the regular menu Mac n cheese is baked where the children's is not. My youngest ordered the kids chicken bites which were very chewy. She wouldn't eat them. The best thing we had was the Winter Solstice Lemonade Mocktails. The restaurant vibe is decent, but the place seems empty most of the time. The buffalo shrimp appetizer is amazing, I get it everytime. It's the dinner entrees that are often disapointing. Recent example was the beef wellington... A tiny, fatty, chewy filet wrapped in pastry. No potatoes on the side, just some beets.. strange choice and not good.
