This waterfront restaurant not just having a very nice view over the water, the food was also delicious. Service is excellent, prompt and friendly. The restaurant also has outdoor seating where you can enjoy your meal with your furry pals.

Quench was a nice find to stumble onto; having our little one with us, our other Port Townsend favorite, Sirens, was off-limits to us, but thankfully, this upstairs Hawaiian-adjacent bar and grill is family friendly! As our time was limited (waiting for the ferry, as many often do), and we weren't particularly hungry, my wife and I each ordered a Bloody Mary flight, each choosing four of the six options most to our fancy. Sadly, we both received the exact same four, neither of which entirely matched our selections. The result was a mixed bag of "Yea" and "Nay", some being incredible (the basic Bloody Mary was our collective favorite) and some almost undrinkable (the Bacon Mary was similarly unpleasant to both of us). My wife also ordered a side of Spam, nominally a favorite of hers, preferring the canned variety (strangely enough) over all others. Homemade, or sourced otherwise, she wasn't a fan of it, although I thought it was great, so YMMV with this one. Our little guy also enjoyed it, so I think her palate for processed pork products is purely picky and particular. There were a couple of other minor operational snafus, but nothing to write home (or on the internet) about. In short: the things we ordered, and expected to enjoy (for the most part), we did. Those we didn't, were not as well-received. Overall, Quench didn't quite satisfy our thirst for adventure, but they weren't completely off the map, either. A little more care and attention to detail, and there's no doubt we'd make it a point to stop in for the full meal deal, instead of just a pre-boarding pre-funk.

We were so looking forward to coming here and the views of the water were amazing, and enjoyed that they had an outdoor patio for sunny days! Unfortunately both my husband and I got sick off the food or the drinks we had from here. We had the coconut halibut and the creme brûlée French toast with a Spanish coffee. We found the prices to be fair, but were a bit disappointed in the taste of the food. The customer service was a bit disappointing, as they didn't seem very excited to be there, and weren't helpful with questions we had on the menu. Overall it wasn't a great experience.

Wonderful place to eat on the water. It's August and it's magical weather. Not super busy at 1:00 pm. A wide verity on the menu. Vegetarian and you can make a gluten free meal too. Great bar area. Have a great time! I gave 4 stars because we waited 20 minutes for our drinks. Albeit, our lunch came right after. I would come again! Clean restroom too!

OMG!! This is it! The only place I want to go out for lunch or dinner in PT. The view! The elegant & fun bar setting! The dedicated dog friendly area! The wait staff & the chef! Amazing in all arenas! Oh, did I mention the best food! Just the right balance of heat & sweet! Thank you Quench! I want to move in!

This place gets 4 stars from me but it's mostly because they gave us non vaccinated domestic terrorists a place to sit and eat. If you can prove vax then you get to sit in the regular restaurant, if not you get to sit in an outer area that's nicely decorated, within the building. Sounds confusing but I think I snapped a couple of pictures to help explain. Anyway, for food we had a panzanella salad and a deluxe cheese - cheeseburger. The salmon on the salad was tasty however the rest of it was a bit salty. The cheeseburger on the otherhand, we found delicious. We wouldn't mind coming back to try brunch. They had a couple of interesting loco Moco options that sounded good - a salmon loco Moco or a halibut one!

Great restaurant with chill vibe. Halibut sandwich and fries hit the spot. Close to the ferry. Great patio that overlooks the bay. Nice Hawaiian fusion theme to the restaurant - it works!

I really liked The In Between's logo and interior design, it felt like stepping into the Prohibition era. We ordered a drink each from the Seasonal Summer Menu and shared a hummus plate. The drinks were nothing extraordinary but pretty good, and the hummus plate was a great shareable snack for the two of us. However, the service was super slow and frustrating. The staff were overextended since they were taking on both the bartender and server roles, so it was very difficult to catch their attention. We ended up having to approach them while they were in the middle of making a drink after trying to flag them down for 20 minutes and failing. We were in a bit of a rush towards the end so this was not the best experience, but definitely a bar worth checking out if you're not in a rush and have a lot of patience!

And oddly dry as though they'd been shucked that morning..? Our cocktails were fine. My partner's pasta was decent and my French Onion Soup was mediocre. Our tab was $130 with tip and I'm unhappy about that but it is water under the pier I mean, I'll get over the food but I may never recover from the decor! But the food most definitely fell flat (sorry). The chicken burrito I ordered tasted like it was stuffed with Wonder Bread. (But that's not a bad thing if you like Wonder Bread -- many older people in the Pacific NW can't handle anything spicier than ketchup, so maybe this "works" for them. It was certainly soft, fresh and chewy Wonder Bread, so full credit for that.) The home-made tortilla chips were a very nice touch, very crunchy. The salsa served with it (verde and rojo) was a bit disappointing. If Gerber Baby Food made salsa, this would be it. Fresh, pretty bland, and had the consistency and texture of applesauce. They have a few unmarked bottles of house-made salsa, made with apple cider (according to one of the waitstaff) which was a bit spicier, but an unusual flavor. (My wife guessed that it had been made with beer.) So if you love Mexican food, but can't tolerate anything spicier than mayonnaise, this would be a great choice.
