You can purchase a wash as a one time thing or get a membership, which is seemingly what most people do here. Great first impression, especially on the customer service front. I've had a premium membership for about a year and was very happy with it, but I'm going to cancel it. Unfortunately, they just put in a blocker so you can't use the vacuums or tire air unless you go through the car wash. I understand wanting to make those services available only to customers and not the whole town, but there should be a way for members to use them without having to drive through the car wash! The vacuum is half the reason I had a membership. I stop to do a quick vacuum much more frequently than I wash my car, but I can't do that at all anymore because there is no plate reader to enter the vacuum area. Big L. read more

I received 2 free car washes in the mail to try out Tommy's express car wash. I took one of my cars when it was nice & dirty! I detached one of the coupons and games it to the employee. The coupon was for the best car wash they had, "The Works." I proceeded just around to the entrance. I liked how the conveyer at this car wash is wider and easier to get onto. As I got on, I put the car in neutral as instructed. For my first time around, there weren't any special lights (yes, I'm easily amused) it was a simple spray, soft scrub, spray, wheel wash, and dry. I did notice the soft scrubbers didn't really get the right side of my car too clean, but overall, clean. My 2nd time (I used my 2nd freebie) going through, I didn't pay attention, but there were the lights, finally! The 3rd time, I brought the Mazda and for my smaller car going through this car wash, it barely touched the right side of my car. I went around to the vacuums each time. I noticed some of the vacuums didn't work when I pushed the buttons (on 2 occasions) and some of the top pieces just completely fell off. I like that they have the air hoses that blow powerful air to either dry your car off better or blow dust out of right crevasses. They have rubber tips on them to if you're doing the outside of your car, you aren't going to scratch it. The third car wash, I paid for... I'd like to say I got my money's worth, but if the brushes can't reach one side of my car, it's not worth it. The washes are expensive for single washes. It's a better deal to do a monthly package... but still not worth it if it isn't going to clean the entire car 100%. Maybe in time, this issue will get fixed. I look forward to that because I really like how there are so many vacuum spots and how clean the driver side of my cars were, lol. The employees are pretty nice, too! read more

Came here as I hadn't cleaned my car in a few months. Loved that I was able to wash my mats as well for free while vacuuming out the inside of my car- I would recommend putting the mats through a couple times. Price is well worth it. Only thing was the vacuums, my friend and I noticed we had to press it a few times for it to stay on but that didn't bother us much. read more

We are very familiar with Tommy's Express Car Wash and so were excited to see one being constructed in a city nearby. We arrived at the location in the afternoon and found that we were the only customers. There were two staff present, one to take the service order and receive payment and one to guide the driver into the car wash. Tommy's uses a conveyor belt system to guide cars through the process without damaging wheels. The wash process is not 'touchless' and so uses spinning fabric to 'scrub' while soap and rinse agents are automatically sprayed on at intervals. Then the belt guided our car through the blow dry process. There was some residual water left on our car and so we pulled into the vacant vacuum area and manually wiped up the excess water. Tommy's does a better job than the other local chain car washes but the wheels are still the weak point for these car wash services. I'd suggest pre-spraying your wheels with a cleaning solution prior to entering the car wash for better results. Or just wash your wheels at home. read more

Update 2/4/25. The manager contacted me and reviewed footage. They said my brand new vehicle had a divot on the tire prior to entering. Failed to explain the damage to the wheel. Then they said that I had auto braking engaged and tried to explain how it worked. I know how it works and it was not engaged. They also said they were short staffed but three people were working that afternoon. Then my husband contacted them and they said they could no longer assist me and ceased responding. When they first opened they used to have someone come out and guide your vehicle in, now hit or miss. The system has malfunctioned many times where they come out and have to have me reverse then start the wash again. The machines inside sometimes work sometimes don't. When that's done, make sure you pick a vacuum stall that the vacuum is able to turn on and if it does actually work, make sure it is one that actually has decent suction. Just tried to buy the detail kit this morning and most dispensers said "sold out" but even the ones that weren't displaying that, did not dispense anything after I tried my card at multiple stalls. So frustrating. I only have a membership because this location is extremely convenient to and from school and work. The moment something else opens, I'm gone. read more

BEWARE owners of black painted vehicles more so than all colors.. My husband took my car for its first Tommy's Express wash at the grand opening and they gave him "the works." The next day I noticed I can see a grayish dull film over my entire hood and the sides of my doors and even fenders. I took it back to get re-washed since this was the only place it had been (we live behind the business) and I asked if there was something they used that left a residue on my car. The girl at the window not only refused a free re-wash but pitched the monthly deal to me for a couple of minutes. I asked if I can speak to a manager because I feel like my car is going to get damaged from whatever was on it and she called another girl over. They said "because my car was so dirty all this 'damage' was under the 'dirt' and that in fact they did such a good job it brought out this 'look' to my car." WHAT?!?! I'm not an expert so I went about my day and contemplated getting a new car. Come to find out a couple of months later my new car wash guy asks if he can buff out the residue that the previous car wash place left all over my hood doors and fenders. $250 later my car is exactly how it was before I brought it to Tommy's express. So they didn't know how to dilute a chemical correctly (I guess it was an anti bug or bug removal liquid) and therefore left a film all over my car and blamed me somehow. Unless they pay for my $250 buff aka their mistake and prove they fixed this issue, I'm going to continue to not recommend this establishment for their fraud answers and horrible quality. Seems like I'm not the only one who noticed the window girls defensiveness and poor management. I have before and after pictures, dates, receipts and a bad taste in my mouth still to this day. read more

Was excited at first for this new car wash. That was until the car wash ripped off a part of my bumper which left me with an over $3000 repair bill. I have been in contact with the manager Brian who gave me my car parts back. The Manager Brian told me, my car was damaged prior to entry. Even though I have proof (surveillance cameras/pictures w/time and date water stamps) that prove that this narrative that the manager Brian is portraying is not truthful. I'm not the only person whose vehicle has been severely damaged by this car wash. The manager, Brian uses the tactic that "the car was damaged prior to entry" to not be legally responsible for the damage. I have requested on five separate occasions for the video surveillance that manager Brian says he has to be sent to me so I can see what damage he's referring to, but conveniently I have never received the email with the surveillance video that Brian is referring to and claims was sent to me via email. Due to this, I have sent the owner Parneet as well as manager Brian a certified letter of demand in regards to the damages and the bill that I was left with. Which was ignored by the owner Parneet, and manager Brian who are both fully aware this car wash is severely damaging vehicles. I will not be responsible for damages that were done by this Business. Parneet, I know you look through your Google reviews as well as yelp. Please keep an eye out for the small claims lawsuit, that's coming your way. You will pay for the damages your business inflicted on my vehicle. Whether it's through court or whether we settle outside of court, you have my contact info which I sent in the letter of demand to your Shell corporation (Burrell holding) as well as the Tommy's express location. Brought my brand new car to this car wash and asked the employee before entering the wash if this was safe for black car paint and she had replied that "yes, it's safe for the paint because of the type of machine they use". So we proceeded to enter the car wash only to find at the end of the wash that our car was completely scratched everywhere. We filed a claim and the owner refused to take responsibility when we trusted this company with our car. The employees are clearly not well informed about what type of car wash this is. I'm very disappointed with how the management is taking us into consideration. Terrible customer service my wife was involved in an accident inside of their car wash due to lack of employees able to do their job correctly and shut the machine off when the car in front of her slammed on the brakes. Upon asking for the information of the car in front of her an employee berated my wife telling her it was her fault. The other employee admitted that they were short staffed and the person watching the camera to prevent this was on break. Then get told the owner (Brian) would reach out at his earliest convenience. Sorry if someone was injured on my business or property damaged I would do my best to reach out to them immediately to make sure everything is okay. Went there quite a few times. The first few times it seemed pretty nice. There was vacuums and even a place to clean your floor mats. At first I was super excited thinking I found a great new spot to get my car cleaned. Within the first 30 days of my membership a piece of their car wash got stuck in my left headlight which also caused a piece of my vehicle to be pulled upwards with a great amount of force pulling it out of the slot it's supposed to rest in. So now not only do I have a piece of their car wash stuck in my vehicle that I can't pull out or remove myself because it's lodged in there, but I also am looking at quite a few hundred dollars in body work to fix my vehicle due to this. I called them about it on a Tuesday early afternoon and got told no manager was going to be in until at least Thursday. Seems pretty odd to me that a location will run without a manager on site or accessible at all for 3 or more days. Never going back unless it's for them to make this right. Count your days Tommy's because if this doesn't get handled in a timely manor I will be speaking to an attorney and I would love to see video footage of your wash damaging my car in court. Since I guarantee they aren't going to show me the videos and probably gonna tell me the same thing they told the person whose wheels they messed up on their brand new vehicle. I know for a fact I did not have a huge red fabric piece in my car prior to going through your car wash that used bright red fabric to clean vehicles. So if I get told it was there prior I will be taking this matter to court and suing for every little bit I possibly can since once the footage gets shown in court I am sure Tommy's story of "it's not our fault" will change once someone other than their employees look at the footage. UPDATE: Apparently if your car gets damaged in the car wash they give you corporates number who sends you to voicemail even during business hours. Called at 2:45 on a Tuesday and got sent to voicemail where no one contacts you back or makes any effort to right their wrongs. I have attorneys in my family and you will be hearing from them and getting served if I don't hear from an owner or manager in 24 hours from 05/01/2025. Also the employees there will do nothing but tell you the car already looked like that prior to when I got my membership 2+ weeks ago but have a picture of my car less than a week ago in pristine condition not looking like that. F*CK YOU Tommy's. FURTHER UPDATE: Was told the manager wouldn't be in until Thursday. I called yesterday at 10:26am to confirm manager would be in and got told yes they would be in around 11, then got called back at 10:35am getting told their manager was actually not going to make it in but he would be in today Friday May 2nd. Asked around what time he would be in so I knew when to ask to speak to him and got told 12pm. So I called at 12:40pm today asking to speak to him and got told yes he was there and she would go get him and he would call me. 40 minutes later and I still have not received a phone call. So I called again at 1:17 asking for the manager once again and the phone gets answered by some snarky rude excuse of an employee who says yes the manager is here but he couldn't go get him and gave me a bunch of attitude until he eventually stated the manager isn't on site at the moment and apparently wouldn't be for another hour. I know there isn't any way a manager who got to his business at 12pm is already taking his lunch break at 1:17pm. THIS IS LITERALLY THE SADDEST EXCUSE OF A BUSINESS read more

I signed up for the one month free trial and used it about 7 times. There was never a line whenever I chose to go and the vacuums have really good suction. It's also conveniently located around the corner from our church so it's always an easy stop when we get out on Sunday: I got the $35.99 package for free so it was well worth the value. I've been to Tommy's on several occasions and in my honest opinion this is the BEST carwash in town!! The value for what you receive is outstanding. One of the great things about this business is that, like many other car washes, is they offer memberships affordable for many different budget sizes. After my car wash service, I find that everything is very clean. My rims, the bugs that have hit my car and I love the mat washers located just outside the vacuum area. The waste bins are consistently and freshly replaced with clean bags, the staff are extremely helpful in the sense that they are aware should you need assistance or have any questions. In addition, the vacuums actually work, not all car washes have self-service vacuums that do a thorough job. We all work hard and want to spend our money wisely, with that being said, I will continue to frequent this location regularly. When we pulled into the car wash the staff did not seem very friendly. The car wash itself was fine but when we began to vacuum a man with a leaf blower would not leave our car alone. During the 10-15 minutes that we vacuumed he was walking around our car over and over. I completely understand having a job to do but please don't circle around me standing at some moments less than a foot behind me, by the time my partner was getting into the car because we were sick of it he was crouched less than a foot outside of my door and had the leaf blower underneath my car making it difficult for us to pull out. Not only were we getting annoyed with the lack of personal space because of the man with the leaf blower, less than 3 minutes after we threw away trash as we were still vacuuming a lady starts rummaging through what we threw away. Overall the car wash itself was fine, it wasn't anything special and the vacuums were good. I pay for the higher end membership, it should have rainbow wash, there's no color. I thought it was because I went late, so we started going when they open. As many times as I've been to Quick Quack not ONE TIME did my tires ever get cleaned. EVER. I also hated that they didn't have a membership line. Horrible customer service. Cancelled both of our memberships after they damaged my gf's car and then tried telling us our vehicle was already like that when it in fact was not. Got given corporates number and you can't even get ahold of anyone and no one ever calls you back. They will just ruin your car and then proceed to act like you are crazy and will refuse to show you video or image proof of your vehicle looking like that. You would think if my car really did have that damage prior they would have no issue sending us the image or video proof of such. We have pictures of our vehicle after our membership was started looking 100% intact with no issues. Once that photo was shown then the story switched to oh I was saying the hood already looked like that when I was never talking about the hood. I was talking about the fender. They will BS you in a circle and refuse to take any responsibility for their wrongdoing. Just go to quick quack across the street or anywhere else. A mediocre wash is better than a broken car. Let's not even get started on the residue the wash left on our brand new $700+ all black rims. If you have a black car or rims stay away as well because unfortunately I have scrubbed and scrubbed and the film is not going away. read more

Let's talk about Tommy's Express Car Wash on Foothills Blvd in Roseville. I signed up for a 30 day trial period for 26.00 in May. I was told that unless i drive back thru and re-sign back up the membership would cancel.Here is the problem. I noticed my card was charged 35.99 after I was told initially the membership would stop if I didn't sign back up. I wasn't initially upset about it but I had questions. Last week I went thru the line and pulled up to the window. I explained that I signed up in May and was told it would cancel after a month but my card was charged and now I have questions. The girl at the window immediately became defensive and said that wasn't possible. She went on to let me know I was lying and she would be checking the cameras to prove it. I was in shock and kinda laughed. Banter between the both of us went on for about 5 minutes. She told me how many hours she worked and how much money she made. Okay!! Why do I care. Very immature. She smiled and said "do you want my picture" Seriously? I asked her why would i want that? Here i was being bullied by a girl at a car wash window. I don't think I have ever been spoke to as rude as she was. I asked for the owner's phone# and she said "no, I'm not giving it to you". I left and immediately checked the SOS website and called the owner. Initially he apologized and told me he would look into it and get back to me. Within 1/2 hour this crazy chick was calling me on my cell and harassing me asking me for details again about how I initially signed up for the promo. I told her for the 5th time. She then says "I'm just cancelling your account" and hangs up on me. I immediately called the owner back and told him his employee was harassing me and he says "Ok, I will credit all your charges and tell her not to call you again". I explained to him I did NOT want my charges credited. I just wanted him to know he is employing a very volatile employee. He assured me he would take care of it and get back to me. Well, days went by and I had to call him several more times.Finally yesterday I received his response via text. He says he has investigated the incident per protocol and for me to contact corporate if I had any further questions. He also asked me not to contact him any further. What? I texted him back and said his response was very odd. I contacted corporate who verified my 2nd charge was automatic and the employee and owner should know this. Your membership does NOT cancel automatically. Made sense to me. She also said it's odd that the owner would have me contact Corporate as it's a franchise so they aren't responsible for customer service issues. She offered to call the car wash and explain this to the site lead who is SHOCKINGLY the girl who I had the encounter with! During this conversation with corporate, the site lead requested i be banned and corporates hands are tied.Obviously the owner condones this behavior and I am sitting here imagining if something actually went wrong as you were going thru the car wash (malfunction) what kind of support would you get? I believe whole heartedly it would be a fiasco and even if it was the car wash's responsibility, you would be liable. I have never experienced a owner who supports that type of behavior of his employees. I am shocked. Go thru this car wash at your own risk and pray you never experience a issue. Not happy. It looks super fancy, but it's just a ruse for a crappy wash. This is the location on Foothills in Roseville. 1. First off, they try to push you into a monthly deal so hard, constantly repeating the same thing no matter how many time I tried to explain I just wanted one wash, not a recurring service." I finally had to say "Pretend I'm coming here for the first time, which I am, and I'm never going to come here again, ever. (also turns out to be true). Finally, she gave me the one-time price. I was still nervous enough that I paid cash. Anyway, that's not my biggest complaint: 2. It's a substandard wash. I got "The Works" - the top wash available. It was fast (too fast to clean well, really), and in no way superior to what I get paying about $10 at the Arco car was down the street. The very end of it are these whirring big brushes that are supposed to dry your car. They didn't even touch my car, and I have an SUV, so it's not a tiny car. They're whirring around about 2+ feet from my car on either side, leaving water spots all over my car. I walked back and complained, and the manager first said "I'm sorry, I'm not sure how they work, I just work here." I said "Well, there are water spots all over my car because it didn't touch the car." then she said "Oh, they're supposed to just hit the mirrors, not the car." I said "Really? Well, they didn't hit the mirrors either, so I don't know what they're for." Bottom line - my car is covered with water spots, and I had to drive home, then re-wash it myself. I thought I would give this new car wash a chance however after one wash I discovered their brush machines ripped a portion of the grill of my car off midway through the wash. I return to the car wash once I discovered this to ask them if they could see if the part of my car could be retrieved. The employee left and came back a few minutes later to ask what color and type of car I was driving indicating they had multiple pieces of cars that have gone through their car wash in the only one week that they had been open. I reached out to management to inquire about being refunded the cost of the wash. I informed them I was not interested in asking them to reimburse me for any form of repair I simply just wanted the overpriced car wash that damaged my vehicle to be refunded, to which their manager refused. Was excited to try a new car wash spot. It's just the same old, somehow worse than an Arco car wash for almost 3 times the price. All this technology and the brushes still don't completely touch my car defeating the main purpose, the mat cleaner gave me a new pattern of striped dirt, and the vacuums are just okay.
