Steve gave us a time window for his arrival, called to confirm in advance, and then provided one of the most detailed and thorough jobs we have ever experienced. His service included using both vacuum and a rotating brush inserted from outside to clean every inch of our ducting. He then went a step further and cleaned the inside of the dryer after removing the back paneling. The before and after pictures (to follow) were amazing. Since we're not from the area, we just kept going back to the same repair company because we didn't know any better. After trying to get said Norwalk appliance repair company on the phone, no one picked up when they were supposed to have been opened at 8 am. Then after a voicemail and finally a third attempt at eventually speaking to someone, my wife was on hold for 20 minutes. When she spoke with customer service, they said they couldn't help us based on her description of what was wrong with our dryer. When she asked for a referral, she was told to try Google. I don't want to name the other company, but like they said, you could probably Google it. That was the last straw. My wife called Dobson based on a recommendation from another service provider after a bit of a wild goose chase trying to find someone who could help us. They were available to come the next day, even as it was a 2-person job, since the washer and dryer were stacked. They showed up when they said they would. They wore masks the whole time. They diagnosed the problem. They pointed out what was wrong. They fixed issues that the prior service men neglected to fix the first time, in order to ensure our washer and dryer ran smoother. Apparently, the dryer vent wasn't hooked up properly, which may or may not have been the prior service providers fault, but Dobson made the fix nonetheless. They cleaned our ducts, as we asked. Then they fixed the dryer and tested and then re-tested to ensure it worked properly. We highly recommend Dobson for reliable service that solve problems the first time around.

When my washer AND dryer broke simultaneously, I conducted a thorough online search for an appliance repair service. I ended up calling Reliable Appliance Service in Stratford because of the many excellent customer reviews. The owner, Bob, was very accommodating over the telephone and scheduled a call as soon as he could to evaluate my appliances. As it turns out, I am 100 percent pleased with Bob and Laurie. They are not only honest, but beyond knowledgeable. In fact, Bob provided me with a crash course in washers and dryers! In addition, he fixed my dryer for a reasonable fee. Unfortunately, my washer was not worth fixing, but he advised me every step of the way about the kind of washer to purchase. I never questioned him, because, as I already stated, he is honest. When I called Eastchester Appliance Center, my very first question was whether they had experience with this brand. The proprietor told me: "I don't do a lot with Sirena but I do service one or two of them a year." On that basis, we agreed that I should bring in the vacuum. We discussed the problem and I paid a $50, cash deposit when I dropped it off. A week later, he told me he had not been able to open the unit after spending four hours (?!) of effort. He asked me to give him two more days, and, against my better judgment, I agreed. Several days later, he had made no progress. When I picked it up, I asked for my deposit back and was told he had spent several hours of effort trying to service the unit. He also made it clear he had never serviced one of these units before -- saying that it looked like another model (Rainbow) which he could service with no difficulty. Hopefully, he didn't break the unit further, or strip the screws, after spending four hours trying to open it. I've added one star to the minimum because this fellow seemed like he actually did try to make efforts to repair it. Still, he clearly misrepresented his experience with this brand and, two weeks and 50 dollars later, I now need to find another shop that can service my vacuum.

They ghosted me for several months, claiming the pump was back ordered. When they finally installed a pump it did not fix the problem. The technician said that the motor was also broken and would have to be replaced. After that I never heard from them again. I called the main company several times and recieved no response. I texted the technician who installed the pump several times and he told me he would follow up. I still heard nothing. I finally hired a different company. That's when I learned they charged me for and installed a drain pump that belongs in a dishwasher not a washing machine. The new company came prepared with a drain pump and installed it on the first visit. It immediately fixed the problem
