My wife and I came in for lunch before heading to the beach. We split the Betty Burger ($15) and opted for the upgrade to fries ($3.75). We also had our own ice cream shakes. She chose strawberry while I chose vanilla (apparently, today is national vanilla ice cream shake day). I don't know what I enjoyed best as everything was so good. Also, the employee behind the counter was friendly and accommodating as she cut our burger in half and gave us an extra sauce per my request. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. Things like over-pricing, snobbery, uncleanliness, poor/mediocre food quality, etc. are big for demerits for us. This place pretty much does well in all of those categories. If it faced the ocean more, it would be beautiful and may make up for other non-wow things. Still four stars is a good score!
