After roughly 7 years, my former barber retired and I was left to find a new place. I have been looking around for some time and with a wedding incoming, I decided I need a clean cut. Using the Projects feature on Yelp, I landed on Tomo Barber Shop. Alex was incredibly quick to answer my questions and I decided to book an appointment. It has been awhile since I walked into a barbershop, as my previous barber had his own spot. But, it indeed had that community feel. If you have ever watched Keeping up with the Andersons, you know what I mean. They have been in the area for some time and you can tell that everyone takes pride in the shop. Alex cut my hair and he listened and provided feedback all through the process. We also had a bit of banter which was wonderful. I honestly felt at home and well it all impart to everyone there. Location-wise they are on York blvd. So parking is a bit touch and go. But there is some residential parking in and around the shop. Overall, I think I have a found a place to call home! I've been coming to Luis for haircuts for just over a year, and it's been the best barbershop experience I've had.
