This review is based on one experience. My son was last minute and forgot to get his prom corsage. The morning of the prom I called nearly a dozen shops and was told we were out of luck. Later I looked at another list of florists and thought maybe I'd drive a bit farther. I called Tom's again by mistake but the employee remembered me and said she could go the extra mile and have one in time. I've been a customer since I was about seventeen years old back when they used to deliver to my house. I called up Ms. Nancy today and luckily she was able to make me a corsage and boutonnire at the last minute for a special event. She made it and it looks so beautiful. Our family has been purchasing flowers from Tom's Flower Stop for years and years. We have never been disappointed in their quality. Where flowers from other florists wilt and die after about a week, the flowers from Tom's last and last. I have had arrangements from them that lasted a full three weeks and, even then, still had stems that were looking great. And their prices cannot be beat. Our daughter was getting married and the centerpieces for her wedding were included in her wedding package. We inquired about pricing for the remaining florals we needed from that vendor and the price was astronomical. So we asked Tom's to provide a quote. To say we were shocked when the quote came in was an understatement. The entire price for Bride and Bridesmaid bouquets, a floral garland, arrangements for the cocktail tables, two larger flower arrangements for the entry, floral decor for the ceremony chairs, corsages, Boutonnieres, etc., including the taxes and delivery fee, was almost $300 less than the cost of only 1 bridal bouquet, 1 bridesmaid bouquet and a garland from the other vendor. Needless to say, we went with Tom's. Tom himself delivered the flowers to the wedding site. We were a little worried about the timing because we had such a tight timeline for everything. But Tom came exactly on time, set everything up for us (including hanging the garland and attaching all of the floral decorations to the ceremony chairs), and got everything done in plenty of time for pre-ceremony photos and the arrival of our guests. He was so pleasant to work with. And all of the flowers were GORGEOUS!! We couldn't have been more pleased. The arrangements were even larger and nicer than we expected, the bride and bridesmaid bouquets were stunning and Tom even threw in a complimentary going away corsage for the bride which was a very nice, and appreciated, touch. Our other daughter is getting married in September and we are definitely planning to use Tom's for all of her florals too. I can't recommend them highly enough! If you are planning a wedding, an anniversary party or another special event do yourself a favor and order your flowers from Tom's. read more

I had never ordered flowers for a funeral before and I called them as they were recommended for this area. The lady on the phone was very understanding and helpful and even though I called last minute she helped me and let me pay later. The flowers were delivered on time as I requested. We stopped by to pay in cash the day of the funeral because they do not take credit cards. This would be my only complaint with them. Ultimately still giving them 5 for the help and quick turn around on the service. Thanks for making a difficult situation a little easier. Swung by to pick up a last-minute birthday bouquet and the florist was so nice. We requested she mix together two chosen bouquets (baby's breath and carnations) and she charged us less money than the flowers we're originally priced because she told us we didn't need the whole bunch of it. For $27, we have a pretty huge bouquet and the carnations we bought are super fresh and firm. Excellent service too-- our florist made several jokes, smiled a lot, and wrapped up our bouquet with matching ribbon. Great experience at Tom's Flower Shop. read more

Since I posted about the funerals, thought I would also share the bouquets from the wedding. The wedding site didn't need much, but Tim's new the locale and suggested what would work well. The arch bouquet was designed to be used on the bride and groom's table and the bridesmaid's bouquets were designed to be used strategically at food display areas. They got my daughter's vision (and budget) and made helpful suggestions to maximize the impact of modest selections. Everything was beautiful, lasted forever it seemed after the wedding. We've stopped at Tom's for all kinds of reasons and I cant recommend them enough. read more

We ran into this shop accidentally on our way to buy flowers the day before Valentine's Day. We said, "why not try these flowers out and see how they are?" So we bought 2 dozen roses for my mom (since I had already bought my wife some from online using Bouqs), and the flowers from Tom are wayyyyyyy better than the ones from online, Costco, TJs, Whole Foods, etc. We've bought from them all. I was is search for florist in the new area and decided to drive by Tom's shop to check it out. I was greeted and Nancy explained the choices. I also liked that she spend time explaining what each flower was called and how they combine them. The friendliness and beauty of the flowers made an impression and I wanted to get the "Million stars". Nancy asked if I also wanted the green additions, I said yes. Then she quickly wrapped them like a bouquet and handed over to me with a smile. 10 dollars. When I came home I found several packets of flowers food, such a nice surprise!
