I have been using Michael for maintenance for my property for a couple years. He has been so…read morehelpful and honest. The best thing about him is he is incredibly reliable and always shows up when he says he will, and he always fixes the problem. His rates are reasonable and he is very nice to work with and very nice to communicate with tenants as well. If you're looking for a dependable handyman who can handle a wide variety of repairs and maintenance, I highly recommend Michael. I feel lucky to have found him.

After an initial Yelp quote request to a total of 5 businesses, my husband and I hired Michael to…read morefix a leaking faucet in our cellar. He was the very first to respond to our request with an actual estimate --- when I also supplied multiple photos -- while 3 others wanted to first evaluate in person with an additional appointment, and last 1 said they did not actually fix leaking faucets despite that being listed on their business profile. My husband and I asked Michael after his initial very fair estimate if he perhaps could also fix some other issues for us at an additional cost -- a loose house siding board inside our light well, and two loose plumbing bits, a kitchen faucet and a bathroom sink hot water handle. He thought it best to come out for the initial cellar sink fix, and then evaluate the other 3 tasks in person, which seemed very reasonable. He made quick work of the cellar faucet, handily fixing our amateur attempted earlier repair into a straightened and 100% water-tight fix. Then he climbed into our awkward light well, only accessible through a waist-height open window, jacked up a ladder, inspected the siding and determined the loose board was luckily only a cosmetic cover for the original 1905 redwood siding, reattached the loose board and caulked the edges for good measure. Then he promptly fixed our loose kitchen faucet and wobbly bathroom hot water handle. I cannot recommend him enough -- 5 stars all around -- on time, friendly, thorough, gung-ho for awkward work fixes like our light well, and very fair pricing. I almost want more stuff to break in this old house to hire him again. Two definite thumbs up!

We really appreciate his hard work and attention to detail! We are very happy with our bathrooms. We will highly recommend him to our neighbors and friends.

Updating my review:…read more I have now hired Omar to work on 2 different houses (a 2800 sq ft house in SSF and a 1800 sq ft house in Burlingame) in preparation for sale. Omar is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He is extremely diligent, detailed, and a great problem solver. He takes such incredible pride in his work, as if your house was his own and it shows in the results. I would not hesitate to hire Omar again. He is such a nice helpful person and does excellent work. If you need any services he offers, you should rush to hire him as he is the best! Here's a long list of improvements and projects he has done across the 2 houses for which I would strongly endorse him for: -Kitchen & bath Cabinets: transformed old dated oak cabinets into modern cool looking white cabinets that had such a smooth finish you would think they were new. -Kitchen counters: prepped my cabinets for new marble countertops that were purchased from and installed by East star in SF (this involved demolishing the old tile counters and tile backsplashes, sanding down walls, painting and texturizing and installing new plywood on the cabinets to support the new counters. ) -Other Kitchen/bath stuff: installed new kitchen and bath faucets, new dishwasher, new bath fixtures. Replaced bathroom faucet water valves. -Flooring: prepped for bathroom floors for tile installers (remove toilets , remove rotted floorboard and replace with new plywood, repainted baseboards, reinstalled toilets. Omar also does install installation for vinyl plank flooring. -Carpentry: built a new sturdy outdoor rail for patio stairs. Finished in a nice wood stain that looks great. Replaced rotted wood steps in wooden stairs. Installed new bypass closet doors. -Interior Painting: in addition to cabinets, he also transformed a very large oak railing into a beautiful modern and smooth white railing. The before/photos are an amazing contrast. He's really great at painting as he always catches little details and makes everything look great (especially with spraying). And there's always things you didn't have on your list to paint that he will notice and take care of unprompted. -Exterior painting: he's painted exterior wooden steps and cement steps. He's also done power washing to clean some old cement steps that I previously thought needed painting, but the power wash did the job. -Lighting fixtures: he has installed multiple interior and exterior lighting fixtures
