Then I called Tinker Auto Parts, they were great!! he looked to make sure he had the right part so I didn't waste my time, and then he promptly told me they had what I needed and told me how to get there from where I was. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name that helped me because he was so nice and deserves a high five! The store was busy, clearly it is a favorite auto parts store in the community. Although it was late and cold and snowy, they offered to help get the broken cap off for me. I actually had already gotten it out and had it in my pocket but I appreciated the offer! Long story, but I wanted this review to show how pleased I was with this business, and I highly recommend Tinker Auto Parts!! Thanks fellas!

Karl, the salesperson standing behind the counter, told me to return to my vehicle and turn on my headlights so he could see which headlight was out. He informed me that it was my fog light, not my headlight, that was out, and then he advised me to replace both. He looked up on the computer the proper fog light bulbs to buy and also informed me that AutoZone does not install them. After I bought them, I immediately went to my car dealership to get them installed. Sadly, I had to return the fog lights because the dealership told me that my SUV does not have any fog lights--only daytime running lights and headlights. It was a replacement headlight that I needed. So Karl, the AutoZone salesman, advised me incorrectly, but I should have known that I did not have fog lights. It is a feature that I never needed to use, so I forgot that I did not have them. The moral of my review is: Head straight to the car dealer or a qualified mechanic if a warning light comes on in your vehicle. My headlight warning light may not have only been due to a burnt-out bulb but an electrical problem as well. Mechanics are experts at diagnosing the causes of warning lights. Also, take time to read your driver's manual to familiarize yourself with all the safety features of your vehicle. Next time I buy a vehicle, I will buy one with fog lights. I will not be returning to AutoZone again except to buy accessories for my vehicle. Nevertheless, I am giving this store three stars for Karl's attempt at providing good customer service.

I'm a DIY'er that finished a 3+ years restoration project of my 1963 MGB convertible. I needed to purchase the original factory color to finish the project and took one of the car parts with unfazed original paint to the Auto Paint Depot and they scan the color and matched it perfectly. It also turned out their factory color codes were identical to what they scanned off my part! The color was a hard to duplicate MG Iris Blue. The DIY paint job came out beautifully! The car won Best MG and 1st in Class awards at the Vanderbilt car show!! Thank you Steve at the Auto Paint Depot for you advice and superb products!!
