I was staying at a hotel in the area and decided to wake up for a nice morning walk on a Monday day…read moremorning, it was so peaceful! There was some foot traffic but since it was a normal work day, it was light and not crowded. There's lots of small tourist like shops in the area and some restaurants like Malibu Farm. They also have lots of wildlife that seems to live in the area around the ponds, mostly birds. I was able to see so many baby ducks! Not too sure about the parking situation since I walked from my hotel, but I really enjoyed the area for a peaceful morning walk.

There were so many people visiting Seaport Village today. We approached from the Embarcadero walkway from the north. As we walked up, there is a sign that welcomes you to Seaport Village overhead. It's always very nice to see that. There are new shops and restaurants that are available. I was amazed at how many restaurants Seaport Village Now has. The Mike Hess Brewing is still there. The fish shop is still there and Mr. Moto's pizza is also still there. However, it was great to see that the shorebird had been remodeled and now is open for business over the water on the right hand side of the walkway. The highlight of our visit was walking by and seeing the Zeta restaurant now open on the walkway with views of the waterfront. Please see my review for the Zytoun restaurant. Please keep in mind that right now. Seaport Village is very, very busy with construction. Most of the businesses are still open however, several of them are in a construction area. The businesses over on the east side of Seaport Village before you get to the Sally's restaurant, are affected by the renovations. Spilled the beans coffee and Mike has tasting room are not affected, but foot traffic is affected. The town Square where they normally have music and entertainment is not affected now they have games somewhat like lawn games available in that square area, but the foot traffic is affected by the construction of the Outer building facing the marina. Ther are so many vendors here now. We actually were able to visit an art gallery, walk over the pond bridge, with ducks and pigeons, peruse through so many cute shops, check out all of the food offerings, and just enjoy the beautiful views of the water at the Embarcadero Marina Park while here. This is a wonderful walk, and with the vendors, and other sites, it ends up being an adventure.

It's a destination by itself, but if you've got time, make a day of it by grabbing a gorgeous flower petal cake slice at the bakery next door, then walk around Little Italy (aka Restaurant Row) where you'll find lots of great choices for lunch & dinner. BUT FIRST SHOP -since hours are limited and you won't want to miss this shopping experience! You'll find lots of unique gifts, items to decorate your home, and even jewelry & scents that anyone would love to receive! I had way too much fun looking at every single thing in the store. If I could, I'd take it all. If you want a gift, invite me to your next party cuz I'm just dying to shop here again! On your way in, tell Sean I sent you! He's not only the owner, he's also the creative genius behind everything you see. So if you're looking for something special and don't see it, I'd check with him to see if he can order it. Got to talking with him.. only took 2 seconds to see how exceptional his service was. After the top level of performance he has for being a top tier worker, informing us about the candies and deals they have in the store. Nikko deserves the highest approval and appreciation, hands down. Thank you, to one of the most down to earth, personable, hard working, and professional yet extraordinary personalities I've ever met. (THE CANDY SELECTION IS HUGE HERE, highly recommend!)

My family was excited to attend a signing event at IT'SUGAR during San Diego Comic-Con, especially…read moreafter spending over $400 in the store. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the way Kyle treated me. I was there with my 5 yr old and 8 yr old children and it was upsetting that this interaction happened in front of them. I was waiting for the signing and needed directions about where to go and what to do. Instead of providing clear guidance, Kyle gave me multiple different directions and was r, which left me confused and stressed about missing the event. When I asked for clarification, his tone came across as rude and dismissive rather than helpful. What made the experience even more disappointing was that he was noticeably kind and friendly to my husband but his attitude toward me felt completely different towards me. As a customer, I expected to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect no matter what gender. Comic-Con is already a hectic environment, and customers rely on staff to help make these special events enjoyable. Instead, this interaction added unnecessary frustration and took away from what should have been a fun family memory. After spending more than $400 and looking forward to the signing, I left feeling disappointed by the customer service. After the confusion, I spoke with the actor and got my figure signed. They acknowledged that things were confusing and said something along the lines of, "Sorry for the confusion," and explained that things were a bit weird with how everything was being handled. Their kindness and willingness to explain stood in stark contrast to the experience I had with Kyle. Although thats not the interaction I was hoping for with the actress. I would have preferred a joyful meet and greet autograph as opposed to an awkward apology from the actress, who was lovely. I hope management addresses this so future customers are treated consistently and respectfully, especially when families with young children are involved.
