It has the perfect crunch and if you like sweetness; this is for you. It's dense. I also love the double chocolate cake and sometimes (when not sold out) they have the double chocolate with sprinkles. The breakfast sandwich is simple but hot and fresh. I can never get a pic because as it's that good, you just have to eat it immediately. I get the bacon, egg, and cheese. I am a hunter's extra sharp cheddar type of girl. Even so, the bagel sandwich with regular American slice cheese, an egg you can hear them scramble in a bowl with a fork. And then they add the most thick but crunchy bacon. I mean like soooo delicious bacon. Cooked perfectly. Not flimsy but crunchy but not burned. I have been known to have this sandwich for dinner. Oh, I didn't mention that after 3pm, donuts are 30% off. Don't count on the donut you want being there though after 3, because they LITERALLY have a line as early as 7 and they open at 6 am! The line moves super quick though. The owners have a great process to work front and back kitchen. This is a small establishment but there are two table outside and a lovely park across the street. Can't believe this place is in the heart of Prospect. Definitely worth the visit for a sweet treat or a savory sandwich. The owners and other guests are soooooo sweet!

You can pick up a menu to browse as you walk in, but the menu includes all beverages and no indication of donut flavors - only prices and a couple of pictures. When we got to the register, available donuts are displayed in a case. There were only five varieties available as they had sold out of a few others. The only one that looked appealing to me was the Maple Blueberry. My wife got a Red Velvet. Both were on the small side and rather dense/dry. The flavor was decent but we weren't fans of the texture. This place is in a space that has had a revolving door of businesses and is not easily visible from Bardstown Rd. In order to stick around for the long haul the product will have to be stellar. Otherwise they will be just another business that stays open for a short time. The beverages may be fantastic, but we didn't try any. It would be helpful for them to list their donut flavors on the menu so you can decide what you might like before getting to the register and having to decide on the fly. If we try this place again, will try to arrive earlier to try the Old Fashioned. Otherwise, we wouldn't go out of the way to visit again. There are better options out there.
