My sister and I ate here on a recent Saturday evening, reservation for 7pm. We were seated immediately upon arrival at 6:50pm. Our waitress was very professional and polite, and the Owner even stopped by to check with us twice. The Owner explained she and her husband started out in Boston and then had an opportunity to open in Georgetown. The mozzarella cheese sticks and accompanying marinara were fantastic. The sticks were perfectly thick-breaded, and the cheese hot and pliable inside. You want that pull-apart goodness, and these did not disappoint. The marinara was great; not runny or watered down, sweet and not overly tangy. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and my sister the Chicken ala Marsala. My Chicken Parmigiana was delicious; crispy outside and tender inside, the cheese was a compliment rather than a blanket, the sauce was delicious and the Penne pasta (no problem on a substitute for the linguini) cooked perfectly. My sister's Chicken ala Marsala had a rich wine and mushroom sauce surrounding a perfectly sautéed chicken breast. The ambience is typical large scale restaurant seating, and a bit noisy as it was a full house. This can work for or against your dining experience: if you want quieter I would hit the restaurant up on a weeknight. The noise did not detract from the experience at all, and even though busy the restaurant staff did a great job. The owner stopping by was a great touch. I definitely recommend Tony and Luigi's ; it's a gem in Georgetown and rivals most of the Italian restaurants you find in Austin. Go! read more

Came here late last night and were warmly welcomed , even though they were closing in 45 minutes. Sat down promptly and offered drinks and table bread. We ordered the Chicken carbonara and the bolognese lasagna.. The Carbonara was absolutely perfect and delicious! WOW! Packed with flavor! The lasagna was also outstanding and a large portion. We stopped in for a birthday lunch. I had one of the best pizzas I've had in Georgetown. The chicken Bellissimo pizza was outstanding. I asked for goat cheese instead of the feta. My GD wanted Fettuccine and we were headed to Georgetown so I jumped on Yelp and found Tony and Luigis close to where we were headed for the day and off we went...I had seen on multiple reviews about making reservations, so I called and our table was waiting when we arrived....also...no need to make reservations. For as long as this place has been there is was clean an up kept...Promptly seated by a very friendly waitress. The food was everything we expected...the complementary bread was hot and fresh And with real butter. We started with Calamari ( The GD new found love)...very fresh and cooked perfectly...along with the classic Mozzarella Stick that had amazing pull...The GD did "Build you own" with Fettuccine, Alfredo, Chicken and Goat Cheese...Wife went with the 4 Cheese Penne and myself I went with the Chicken Carbonara...All 3 were absolutely delicious...creamy and flavorful....The plates were loaded and the leftovers the next day were great. The most exciting thing about the visit, is they are planning on opening one in Taylor Texas which is Much close to Manor where we live. read more

Came here for a work lunch and had a good experience. Our server was nice and the building is cute on the inside with a somewhat open kitchen and a cute little bar. The yeast rolls that they serve while you're waiting to order were actually really good especially with the herbed butter that comes with it. I got the chicken piccata and it was pretty good but I didn't get super excited over it. The chicken was good but not great, I don't think it was the best quality meat since it had some chewy/tough spots. Overall it was a good experience though! read more

We tried Tony & Luigi's last month and what a gem! Everything came out on piping hot plates. Pictured first is the Chicken Alla Madrid. It comes with fried chicken breast, mushrooms, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, peas, & alfredo sauce with fettuccine pasta. The chicken was nice and crispy and juicy enough for being chicken thigh. The sauce was made the "real way" and not a big dump of heavy cream. Pictured second is the manicotti shells (comes with three hefty ones) stuffed with ricotta cheese & topped with bolognese (+$1). Just use some common sense and let it cool before the first bite. Finally, refreshing caprese salad. Tomatoes were thoroughly red and sweet. Tons of basil and balsamic vinegar not too sour - good sweetness, which I prefer. Service wise this is one of those places that they've definitely had the right training. Granted, who served and checked on is the most was the owner himself but he was over the top nice. Asked us if the music was too loud, if the food was to our liking after a couple bites and if the temperature was okay (we were only ones outside since we didn't get a reservation). Our waiter, Gage, did an excellent job. he was always on the spot for extra condiments, lemons, water & tea refills, bread refills, and anything we wanted or needed. We were pleased that the manager, Maddie, came by to see us for our feedback. My wife had the eggplant Parmesan. It was one of the best she had ever tasted. it had an outside crust that was crispy and pleasant. The inside was not overcooked. It had some resistance when biting into it. I tasted it. It was excellent! As was its marinara sauce. I ordered the shrimp scampi Mediterranean. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. And the pasta was perfectly al dente. . We shared the large Caesar salad. The dressing was good but the croutons were a bit stale - not crunchy (the only reason this rating is not a five). I cannot believe how crispy the Romain lettuce was. I have no idea how they do that. But it sure was good. Lastly the dessert we had was the Italian cream cake. I have never enjoyed a better one. If you're looking for ambience this may not be your place - not romantic, but comfortable. The thick red table cloth and napkins were generously sized and substantial. My wife and I went here for date night and it was our first time coming here since we moved to Georgetown. The staff here is really nice and our service was really good. She had an Italian 75 for her cocktail and I had the Italian sunsets. She really liked her drink but I did not care for mine, mainly because of the amaretto that was pretty strong. If you like amaretto you would love this drink! I don't mind a little bit of it but it was kind of overpowering so I could not finish it. We got a bottle of the montepulciano wine that they have and it was really good, Zaccagnini Montepulciano di'Abruzzo. It was also very reasonably priced at $45. Other restaurants would've probably had it at $65 or $70. My wife ordered the gnocchi with Bolognese sauce and I had the shrimp and scallop risotto. Her Bolognese sauce was very greasy and there was not much sauce it was mostly meat. The cheese that was baked on top was very thick. My risotto had way too many peas in it for my taste, it kind of took away from everything else. The shrimp and the scallops were good and they were not chintzy on their portions. The scallops were large and meaty and the shrimp were as well. We also had Caprese salad for an appetizer and it was delicious! We had the chocolate cake and the cannelloni for dessert. My cannelloni was fantastic, those desserts were very rich so we each got some decaf coffee that they brewed fresh for us. Not sure if we will be back. read more

We ordered online for a to-go pick-up order. Someone in my party ordered pesto walnut gnocchi, and we opened our order, and there was no gnocchi (as seen in the picture) . The gnocchi plate is a little more pricey, so that was disappointing. The other dish was chicken picatta, and the chicken was pink inside. I have had food poisoning before and definitely do not eat any chicken that doesn't look thoroughly cooked. The "not gnocchi" dish had perfectly done pre sliced chicken, so I'm just not sure how that all works out in the kitchen. The ceasar salad was kind of boring, BUT the dressing was authentic as I could taste the anchovies in the ceasar dressing. The rolls remind me of pretzels, they are pretty good. Overall, the flavors on the pasta dishes are amazing , BUT it's a little too saucy. I understand to some, this may not be a valid complaint because I realize that people love their sauce- so I get it. We did call and tell the restaurant, and they made it right and were very sweet. Ordered: 10" Chicken Bellisima ~ Organic chicken, mozzarella cheese, sundried tomatoes, spinach, and house-made pesto. Topped with feta cheese. Brought home the cannoli and tiramisu. The drink menu had a large variety of cocktails, wines, and beers. The dinner menu was also extensive! Salads, pastas, chickens, beef, seafood, fish and porks. I'm sure I forgot a few things. Had the stuffed mushrooms to start and they were delicious. It comes with an Italian dressing on the side that makes for a great combo. For dinner, I had the chicken parm and my boyfriend had the trout with pasta. The chicken parm was really good, just had a bit too much cheese. The marinara was a tad sweet but still very good. The trout was amazing - the sauce it came with was a little heavy on the creamy but had a lot of lemon flavor. We tried the Italian cream cake for dessert and didn't love it. I love this place! It's just a little hidden gem in Georgetown. I like to go for lunch and order from the pasta bar. On this visit I ordered basic spaghetti pasta with the spicy marinara and meatballs. YUM!! And their rolls are soooo delicious The food came out quick and hot! The service is typically prompt, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant itself is relatively small'ish as you would expect for a "mom and pop" business. There is outdoor seating but I've always ended up sitting inside. There is usually some great music playing overhead and they also have live music from time to time....at least I'm pretty sure they do. It's going to continue to be my go-to lunch spot for Italian, and I've sent several friends there who have all really enjoyed it. read more

My son is stationed at Ft Hood and I was on a business trip so we met up in Georgetown. Went to Tony and Luigi's on Friday night. Restaurant was very busy but we were greeted with smiles which was great! Our server Conner was awesome, well versed on the menu and favorites.
