WOW ! ! ! We were first time visitors with a large group on a Saturday evening. The entire house was packed - which we later found out was to be understood Long story short, my wife and I both had the Butter Chicken. This turned out the best the best decision I have made ALL YEAR! ! I simply cannot describe how wonderful this dish is. Imagine two generous pieces of chicken breast that were expertly pan fried, then combined with a linguine pasta with a decadent cream sauce. IT SIMPLY CANNOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS ! ! The cream sauce is a "near brother" to a beautiful Alfredo sauce- but did not have the traditional earmarks of a classic Alfredo. The chicken was a simple breast, with no visible breading or seasoning. The chicken was perfectly seared, flavorful, juicy and tender. Combined with the cream sauce and perfectly cooked pasta-this is CLEARLY the best of ANY main courses that I have had in the past 2-3 years. BAR NONE. BTW, the traditional "greens" salad and balsamic salad was also great. Other member of our party EQUALLY enjoyed the beef pasta and other dishes. The restaurant was packed -75 or more ? guests all at the same time. My dish appears to have been expertly prepared JUST FOR ME at a leisurely and exacting pace. Wow! What a delicious Italian spot! This is the best I've had in the Austin area! It's cute and could be a nice date spot or a spot to bring the family. Service was excellent and the bread and the seafood pasta came out hot! I also loved that they weren't skimpy with the protein in the shrimp. 4 large shrimp with 3-4 scallops is quite a bit! I ordered three menu items this afternoon from Door Dash which were the Italian American Chicken Parm (because why not, it's a classic), Tortellini Alla Verde and a Cesar salad. Most folks know that I am not easy on Italian and other cuisines from countries/regions of where I have lived. You can take the girl out of Sicily, but you cannot take the Sicily out of the girl. So, here we go... Chicken-Parm- This is not a favorite dish of mine in general. Contrary to what some may believe, It's not Italian. What is Italian, or at least Southern Italian, is melanzane alla parmigiana, or what we know as "eggplant parm" -- eggplant fried and layered with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan, then baked. But that's okay because I did not order this item for me. I ordered it for Thing One. The chicken on the dish was just a bit over which made the chicken tough in certain places. The cook on the pasta was ideal and the sauce was nicely done. 3.5/5 Cesar Salad- Some of the lettuce for this menu item was brown and that made me sad. 3.5/5 Tortellini Alla Verde- This dish was actually a nice surprise for my palate. I appreciated the burst of color and sweetness the sun-dried tomatoes in this dish added. Per my Family and I's latest visit to Tony And Luigis (12/17/23) I unfortunately have to give one less star than my last review. Our visit was nice and the server was friendly, but our drinks remained empty or almost empty for quite awhile at times despite not being very busy. We also had to wait quite awhile for the complimentary bread despite being told multiple times it was "almost out" or is "on the way right now". I also felt the portion served was insufficient for the price paid. I understand prices are going up. The food was still delicious as always just the portion sizes and waiter service needs to be re-examined for refinement. read more

I really love the food here. It's been iffy in the past but quality has leveled out and is pretty consistent now. They make a dill cheese for your bread, and I do love their bread rolls. I cut back on my carbs but these are super hard to pass up. I can't say much about service right now because I've been getting mine delivered, but I have enjoyed dining in in the past. It's a nice little restaurant with live music and singers on certain scheduled days. Their chicken Parmesan is one of my favorites, and the piccata is excellent too. There's certainly no one better in Georgetown to get your Italian fix! I highly recommend giving the bolognese a try. read more

Food was excellent. Had stuffed mushrooms, they were ok. I think before new owners took over the stuffed mushrooms had alot of garlic and in the ones we had I could not even taste any garlic. The Bruschetta was good, not great. Entrees were Trout, Chicken Parm and Veal Saltimbocca. We all loved everyone of the entrees. Enough for two meals and just as good as leftovers! Drink prices are normal, wife and MIL shared white wine. 38 bucks reasonable and they both enjoyed. I had the Old Fashioned first one was excellent, 2nd one was even better! Good pour. Great food, swift service, and cozy atmosphere! This restaurant reminds me of a place we used to frequently visit in Southwestern Germany. Tony and Luigi's wait staff were quick to seat us despite it being a late Friday afternoon. Many tables were reserved so you should call ahead for dinner on the weekends. The chicken parmigiana with marinaras sauce was my pick and it exceeded my expectations. Flavorful crust on the chicken, zesty sauce, and perfectly done pasta made for a delicious meal. Note: When visiting a new restaurant, I usually try a dish that is classic, quickly made, but could easily be messed up when the kitchen gets busy (i.e. cheese pizza, lasagna, etc.). Bottom line: This place is good, really good! All the food was well prepared and tastes amazing! My wife and kids loved the calamari appetizer as much as their meals! First visit to this Georgetown restaurant. Parking lot mostly empty but 4pm and 2 tables occupied in the restaurant. Really depressing vibe. Tables smashed together and chairs like we had in grade school. Plastic plant sconces on the walls. Ordered specialty Jalapeño martini and waiter comes back and says they have no jalapeños so order another drink. Then they found some jalapeños and made the drink. Just ok. Start with 1 roll each and dill butter. Look like crescent rolls but flavorless. Pay surcharge if you want more. Get some Italian bread which is what most Italian restaurants a serve because people like it. Order meatballs as an appetizer- 4 with red sauce and mozzarella. Not hot all the way thru. Red sauce was ok. Entrees were terrible- veal Marsala and Veal Piccata. The veal was so tough it was hard to even cut let alone chew. Meat was buried Inside a mound of spaghetti. Marsala sauce was drowning the spaghetti and so sweet - I realize Marsala is a sweet wine but this was like syrup. My partner choked down the piccata. Sent back the Marsala. Waiter offered me a replacement so opted for a $6 side salad. More than half of the dark greens were bruised, folded and torn. Large outer pieces of red onion dominated the rest of the salad. Tomatoes were 3 small segments of whole tomatoes which were so unripe that they were barely pink. Anemic at best. If this was supposed to compensate for the terrible entrees - compounded the problems. Waiter knew exactly what we pushed back on at each turn - obviously heard it before. When I said inedible he said veal was tough. Told him the kitchen obviously didn't care what they put out or we would not have been served such substandard food. Do not recommend. read more

This was our first time here and it was a mixed experience. The food was great - chicken carbonara, lobster ravioli, chicken marsala, veal marsala...all extremely tasty. It was a Saturday night so it was fairly busy, and this had us seated on the patio. The patio is small and the tables and chairs are metal, so not the most comfortable. We waited quite a long time, even after I had to go inside and ask for menus. Apparently they hadn't assigned a server to our table. After about 20 min, our server showed up and we were offered a free appetizer for our wait - a nice gesture. Additionally, there was a family there with some kids (which is all good, we had one there too), however one of the kids kept throwing his cup and because of the small space and metal tables, it sounded like a gunshot every time and was a little unnerving for my wife. I'm sure sitting inside next time will prove a better experience, but definitely no complaints about the food or the staff. read more
