I've spent years searching for the perfect deli sandwich. Every time I'd find a place I liked, something would eventually disappoint me. I've only had one issue, and it wasn't even their fault. It was a delivery service problem. They personally responded and made sure everything was handled professionally and promptly. While visiting from GA. for a family event, we needed to offer sandwiches for our guests. We identified this deli online and make a visit to "Test" their offerings... WOW! WOW! WOW! DELICIOUS sandwiches! We also discovered that they use a local bakery for FRESH BAKED "FANTASTIC" BREAD! But it did not stop there... The owner (Tony) informed us that the Ham, Turkey, and Beef, are all prepared FRESH on site (This is NOT processed "Lunch meat"). I enjoyed the Italian sandwich, and my dining partner had the Club... Great food. $13.00 for a beef, chips, and a drink.... Really good price. I went at 12:15pm on a Wednesday. Oops, not a good choice if you're working. Major lunch rush. Took almost 30 minutes to get my beef. Understandable on the wait time, though. But my only complaint is that the order was wrong. I ordered "dipped" beef and sandwich came with its ticket saying "easy dipped". So it was still on the dryer side inside. Also I ordered cheddar cheese, and it had mozzarella on it instead. Disclaimer: this was a delivery order. We ordered an Italian and a beef. I thought the Italian was good. It was slightly overdressed but otherwise good. The beef was ordered cheesey, spicy, dry. I don't know if their giardinere was house made or not but it was decent. The beef itself was again, good (it's not Jays or Johnnies; I'll put it that way). It was nicely filled. They definitely don't use Turano rolls and I found the bread to be dense and not absorbant of the jus. The reason that I order it dry is because usually there's enough moisture in there to soak through the Turano roll without it being dipped but this was not so it was actually bone dry. Sure, I've lived here for 45 years so you can call me a purist but if I had known it would have been that dry I definitely would have had it dipped. I'll order from here again and it may help if I were there in person. read more

We stayed in Willowbrook this past week and we found this place on Yelp so we decided to place a delivery order. We had the Chicken Parm Sandwich w/Cheese, Meatball Sandwich w/Cheese and the Italian Sub with a substitute from ham to turkey. We were just in awe! What a find! This place did NOT disappoint. This local spot had been on my list to try for awhile. The picture of the caprese panini kept calling to me. Went in for some sandwiches and they were so tasty! Caprese was good. Friendly service. Sandwiches come with a drink and bag of chips. They had a large assortment of canned sodas to choose from. (And yay Pepsi products, but also RC and handful of others). Inside has some seating as well. Plenty of parking, but they are also located in a parking lot with a dispensary and liquor store so be mindful of that. read more

Nice sandwich shop, with a very unassuming storefront. They have some table to eat in, but most people were picking up. They have a large range of sandwiches and panini's. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered 3 sandwiches to go. The easily adjusted each sandwich robot personal taste, even adding mozzerella on the side. We waited maybe 10 minutes. Great hole in the wall deli - all sandwiches come with chips & a bottled drink I think. I wish that mayonnaise wasn't automatically included as a topping on all sandwiches, even if they include oil/vinegar, but I think that may be a personal hangup since it's pretty common to see that at deli's even if I really don't like it - but lesson for next time to ask for my sandwich with no mayo. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile now but it's because the hours didn't coincide with my schedule. Today was a lucky day since I had some spare time. They have plenty of parking. Inside is cozy. It's not a big place but they have a sufficient amount of tables and chairs to eat at. I ordered the pork roast and pesto because that was the one that truly stood out on the menu. Most sandwich places in the Dupage County area have very similar sandwiches but none have pork roast. This sandwich alone is worth the drive. I got the 10" which is $4 more but you'll be filled up for sure. It comes with a drink and chips. The pork roast is perfectly tender, you don't really have to chew it. The mayo and pesto combination added tons of flavor. The bread was nice and soft. No one likes eating a sandwich with hard bread. Tina was very friendly. I've had them bookmarked long enough. Really enjoyed the Italian beef dipped with hot giardiniera my first visit. The ten inch will fill up the biggest appetite. Perks for having RC Cola. I found out about this place from Next Door Neighbor. It's located in Darien on Cass in a strip mall next to Q bar and Chucks. Brand new little place that does have tables and chairs. Clean and quiet. I ordered a club sandwich and my husband ordered the "Tony". They were great! Tasty! I was surprised! Soft bread, hardy servings, fresh veggies and ham and turkey tasted like ham and turkey! We also had macaroni salad and it was okay. The noodles were Al dente and a little heavy on the Mayo and could have used a little more additives in the salad other than mayo and noodles. They were a little slow but be patient. They need to get the kinks out regarding displaying their menu so you can order them easily and quickly. Maybe sending someone to photocopy a menu so people can take home and also order there. There was one menu that was pasted to each customer, but all that said, they are new and they have become my favorite go to for a sandwich!!! Price was $11.00 sandwich and a drink. read more

Remember when I said the Finley was my favorite since it was in-house made roast beef? Well, now they are making their turkey in-house too, which makes the Brayden a top choice too. Large Chili and 10" Paul's Choice (sandwich named after my buddy) was Da Bomb! Not only was the counter person friendly but the place was super clean w/ fun decor and the restroom smell unbelievably awesome! I could eat in the men's room if I had too, lol. Back to the food though. Soup was hearty and flavorful and the brisket pressed panini (cheese, mayo, red onions and pickles) was so delicious. Such an adorable place to grab lunch or dinner. We went in this evening not really wanting to cook dinner before cooking Easter dinner tomorrow and we found a new favorite place!!! We tried the Findley, the Club and the Tony's Choice along with a cup of the Chicken Soup and I'm here to say each one was outstanding in its own way. The chicken soup - well, I'm something of a soup connoisseur and I have never had chicken soup like this. It had just a hint of something spicy - maybe a peppery flavor? - that we just couldn't put our finger on - but boy was it yummy!! And when I say hint, I mean hint - it was not a spicy soup, just a flavor - so don't let that scare you off. Definately a new twist on an old favorite. The staff was soooo friendly, helpful and patient - we couldn't choose - and it didn't ruffle their feathers in the least. Our only suggestion is that maybe have an alternative bread/roll option. For me, even though there was plenty of meat, cheese and toppings in the sandwich (or maybe because there was) it seemed like too much bread. I may ask them to hollow out my roll a bit the next time. But seriously, that has got to be the silliest "negative" I have ever come up with in one of my reviews. Oh, and for those of you who enjoy the slot/gaming machines, they have them in their own separate space in the back. Plus they sell beer, white claws and wine. This place is a gem, I work walking distance away and will be returning on a regular basis. I like the selection of cold and hot sandwiches. We got the Findley and the Brayden and they were both outstanding. Only critique, if you can change your app to allow for a credit card to be entered instead of Apple Pay, that would be great. My boss was paying with her card and I could not figure out how to preorder with a credit card. It didn't matter though because the service was so quick it did not cause any issues. Thanks for the great food and outstanding service. And don't forget the cute decor. Definitely has a welcoming atmosphere. AND the roast beef and turkey are roasted in house.....say WHAT?????
