After speaking with him for a few minutes we felt very comfortable and asked if he could take a look at the car. He immediately prioritized our car (given our travel schedule). He communicated everything very clearly and frequently as he was diagnosing the problem, ruling out simple issues first. While the problem took some time to identify, luckily it was not a costly item to repair. He had us back on the road in a timely manner and the car performed well during the remainder of the trip to middle Tennessee and has been problem free since. We expected a high bill being a mom and daughter on the interstate and with the diagnostics, but our bill was VERY reasonable. These were good and honest people that I highly recommend.

I threw a Hail Mary via yelp in the Projects section and one company ignored me altogether while another flat out told me they couldn't help me. Not only did Marcos answer me very quickly on Yelp, he kept me updated on the entire process every step of the way with phone calls and text messages. I was assured they were very familiar with the 6.0 engines, which was exactly what I needed. These guys even brought their flat bed all the way to Espanola to pick up the vehicle at a very reasonable price as it wasn't in running condition at the time. The truck was done in only 3 days, and that was even with having to get a part shipped in. The overall cost was fair, in fact it was great, and you can tell these guys love their work and have a great deal of interest in these trucks. They honored some of my additional requests as well. I'll be taking my Ford to them any time I'm in need of work and would highly recommend them for any vehicle. It is now one week later and my truck is running great, I'm very happy with their work.

It's great to read positive media coverage about the owners, but the media has failed to paint the whole picture of why they are successful. Has your truck broken down nearby? Their towing service is cheaper than the competition, but they charge unbelievably astronomical prices for their repair work (and parts) once they have you at the shop (where you have no other choice but to accept their rates).

It was a bit longer off the highway than I thought it would be. I think my navigator took me off the wrong exit at first cause when we left it was much closer to the get back on the road. The people in the front office and the repair guys were very nice. They have this German Shepard in the office that is very shy but seems sweet enough. Our check engine light was on. At first they said it would take until the next day to get it fixed. I told them we couldn't stay in this town. They said they would do what they could to get us back on the road. And they did! In a few hours we were back on our way to LA. They even called a few days later to check on us, mailed a thank you postcard to thank us for or service and sent us an email. Now however, they are sending emails weekly or biweekly. If you don't like a lot of junk emails, don't provide your email.

Not only did Amy and Annie do everything possible to get me in and out before my ETD, they were both warm and funny and authentically welcoming. Ari and his team are knowledgeable, skillful, and compassionate. While handling my tune up they found and resolved many issues for me, and alerted me to additional issues that might wait until after I return. Ari took the time to go over in detail, with both photos and drawings, everything that they discovered, and how they fixed the most pressing problems. They even popped my rear bumper back into shape where someone had caught the edge. Ari was keenly present and patient while reporting his findings. He answered all my questions and made helpful suggestions regarding what might be the next priortiy to address when I am ready. I walked away smiling, feeling like I received so much for a super reasonable final bill. I am beyond impressed. I feel 100% safe driving across the desert and beyond, and am looking forward to the next time I visit Master Tech. The integrity and caring are truly heartening. I've found my forever mechanic.

I originally went to the Master Tech garage on the advice of a friend of mine that started working…read morefor Ari. He told me that Ari was really thorough. Little did i know that Ari thoroughly ripped me off. He initially told me via text that my bill for the work would be $1100 plus tax but when i arrived to collect my vehicle, the price was more: $1587.51 Ari explained that my van needed new software for the electric engine and of course Chryslar charged for the software but having called the dealership after, I learned that Chryslar didn't charge anything for new software, Ari charged me $495 for software and charged me for labor (an hour) which normally takes 15-20 seconds to upload. He told me that he had to replace the electrical harness to replace the broken hood latch switch. If I had the foresight to order the hood light switch on Amazon, it would have cost $35.00, Ari charged me $225.00 for this item. After paying for service, I noticed that even though supposedly doing a overall performance check, ($75) they didn't bother to air up one of my tires, leaving me in a lurch and having to get it done somewhere else. At the performance review, Ari explained the repairs still needed on my vehicle, these included two new tires, a tuneup, allignment, replacing the spark plugs and other maintenance stuff. Of course, Ari and his technicians could do all of these repairs. He said that spark plugs would cost $400. When I looked them up on Amazon, they were priced at $99.00. I won't take him up on his offer to do the work on my vehicle. Thank goodness, I didn't make another appointment with Ari! Don't read any of the positive reviews, they were written by owner Ari. If you notice, the positive reviews are only a paragraph in length, whereas the negative ones are longer to include all of the complaints. I noticed advertisements for Master Tech in our local newspaper. How many mechanics need to advertise their services? Only the ones that have alienated previous clients, only the ones that are beginning to see their over charging finally costing them their reputations. Santa Fe is a "word of mouth" town, Ari 's karma is finally catching up to him and unfortunately, to the rest of the technicians that work at his garage. I told my friend that he needs to find another job. Even though I had to pay through the teeth, and I felt like I had been scammed, the garage fixed my car. It really was a win/win.
