My 2016 Honda Accord was low on oil, it was at 10% oil left, I have had a busy week so was looking for a service that fit my schedule. I contacted this business on 9/14/2022 around 10 AM for a quote for an oil change. I was given the quote of $60 which was awesome for synthetic oil. I asked what appointment times they have available and the gentleman on the other end told me to just drop by during their business hours, they can finish it within 15 mins. I took my vehicle here around 11-12pm, dropped it off, went across the street to order some brunch while they started working on the vehicle. When the burger spot was about 90% done with cooking my food, the mechanics at Tony's Auto Repair and Mechanic Service was already done with my vehicle. My new mechanic!!! They were able to fix my windshield wiper tube for $10, when other places were quoting as much as $50. He did it on the spot, and also gave advice on what caused the issue. Apparently they've seen quite a few damaged cables/tubes since the pandemic began, since a lot of cars are sitting idle in driveways. He suggested spraying ant/roach spray around the engine so critters won't get in to chew on your cables. He quoted me for typical tune up services, and it's $10 cheaper than my other mechanic, and much closer to my house. read more

Tony's repair shop is the most pleasant and honest repair shop I have used. The pricing is superb for the location and he is very knowledgeable of a variety of cars. Parking at the shop is crowded, but this speaks to the popularity and trustworthiness of this local establishment. Even at the opening hour on weekends you could end up in line, but the service is quick and accurate. Tony can give you a quote over the phone usually. My family brings all 3 cars here, a 2006 Toyota Camry, a 2009 Nissan Sentra, and a 2011 Nissan Sentra. We've taken a spectrum of issues to Tony from malfunctioning TPMS to punctured tire leaks to lame wiper fluid pump to even blown/leaking/broken struts, and Tony is able to diagnose and fix the problem within the day usually at a great price. The only drawback is that Tony doesn't use an appointment system and the shop doesn't do wheel alignments, but that's ok because he can do everything else. I recommend this auto shop to everyone in the area. Before my strut replacement, it felt like riding the old Colossus at 6 flags before the ride was refurbished (bumpy, rough), but now it's like riding on a marshmallow (gentle). He was polite and quick when I got there on my lunch break. It was an easy fix and he didn't charge me ! This auto repair shop is great! When my catalytic converter was stolen, I called Tony and he happened to have an affordable used one for me. This was such a relief as my car insurance was planning to total my car because of the national shortage of catalytic converters & such high rates of theft. Tony saved my car!! I took it there and he was able replace it so quickly! I just ate at the restaurant across the street and it was done in minutes. When I drove home, my car was making some sounds and I called Tony who reassured it would go away by the end of the day (I don't understand why, but he made sure to explain it regardless) and sure enough, car sounded good as new!! I TRUSTED THEM AND THEY MESSED UP MY CAR. They did my oil change in 2 days, and messed up my car's alternator. After a week the alternator starts to die. You bring it in for an oil change and then a week later, you car starts to have problems with the battery not having enough power. I went here to get a transmission rebuilt for my Grandpa's 98 Honda Accord and Tony quoted for a decent price so I went with him. He was very straightforward and he did call me back to tell me my axles were broken and that he will fix them at cost which was a plus for me. I appreciated that, but after getting everything fixed I noticed a problem when starting my car. It would sound like my starter was grinding against the flywheel. So I did some digging and researched what was going on until I finally decided to take a look under the hood. What I found was one of the bolts to my starter was not in all the way. Resulting a crooked starter hitting my flywheel. So I tried tightening it, but i couldn't even using a cheater bar to get more torque. So I unscrewed it out and attempted to put it on straight assuming the threads was on crooked. After tightening it on straight, the starter shifted in the correct position and I was able to tighten it all the way. I started up my car again and there was no more grinding sound. I wish Tony or whoever assisted him did a thorough examination before declaring it done. I know cars come in frequently and doing the job quickly is nice but missing this detail makes me anxious about what else could be loose or not straight. I am fortunate to know how to do maintenance on my cars and find problems but I can't say the same for others. All in all though I don't think Tony or his coworkers are bad or dishonest mechanics, he is very helpful and explains things in detail. His prices are fair and may even give you a good deal you can't pass up. However I would take caution if you were to choose his shop because being quick isn't always a good thing. I'd rather wait another hour for a proper inspection before giving back my car. I wish you the best Tony and I appreciate the work you did on my car. UPDATE: WARNING! AVOID THIS PLACE THEY'RE SCAMMERS! Came here because my car wheel was making a squeaking sound, I was told that the front brake pads were worn out and they needed to be replaced. They told me it would take a few hours and that they would call me when it was done so I left and They called me back when the "work" was done, I paid them for the brake pads and labor. Five months later my front wheels started to make a squeaking sound again so I took them to another mechanic and he told me that those brake pads were no way in hell 5 months old and that they have not been replaced in way longer than that. They're fucking shameless scammers, the positive reviews are mostly from people getting a fucking oil change here which is the only honest work that they do there. This was my first time going to Tony's after one of my friend's recommended him to me. I needed all four brake pads replaced (car screeching when I pressed on the brakes kind of need). I called ahead of time to request a quote, which was reasonable :) I got to the shop around 9:30am and there was one more person before me waiting to be serviced. He was done around 10:30/11 with my car.
