Tony's Drain and Sewer Tried to Drain Our Wallet Instead... My husband and I called Tony's Drain and Sewer because a contractor recommended them, and we had a stubborn main line blockage. They sent over a technician who attempted to rod the line but couldn't get the equipment in. He gave up and stuck a camera in there. My uncle is a general contractor/handyman with over 30 years of experience, and he's run into this exact issue before with our plumbing. Last time we had this issue, he told us it was likely root intrusion, and that it just needs yearly maintenance. Unfortunately, we didn't keep up with the maintenance, and he lives across the country, so we couldn't exactly fly him in for an emergency toilet rescue. Tony's charged us for a camera inspection and promised to send a quote. The next day? Boom! "$7,500 minimum"... And that didn't even include landscaping repairs. For that kind of money, I was expecting front row VIP tickets to see Dave Chapelle, since clearly, Tony's team thinks they're in the comedy business. Thankfully, we got a second opinion. Another plumbing company with over 20 years of experience came out, scoped it out, and spent about 3 hours clearing the line and doing a full inspection afterward. It was a root blockage and some baby wipes. They got to the root of the problem (yes, pun intended) for just $300. Moral of the story: Don't flush wipes. Also, don't flush your money down the drain with Tony's. Always get a second opinion. 0/10, would not recommend! read more

I called Tony's with our emergency due to kitchen sink being clogged and water overflowing on the floor, after using the garbage disposal. Lewis arrived within 3 hours of my call to Tony's. He arrived with his big tool on wheels. He unclogged the sink in less than 15 minutes. He checked the basement ceiling to make sure all was OK, clear and dry. The service did not understand the job I described on the phone twice. They showed up to clean out my sewer inside the house, but I clearly explained I wanted a sewer clean out from the outside of the house. They do not have the equipment on board to do a clean out from the outside sewer line on board.Their price is very low for the inside cleanup job, so there's that (if I wanted that). I have used Tony's Drain and Sewer Cleaning at my house twice now and I'm very happy with the service. Scheduling was quick and easy, and the technician arrived right on time. The technician was friendly and professional through the whole process. I had Tony's hydro jet my clay drain pipes due to root growth causing a backup. The technician used his camera and was very careful to keep an eye out for any cracks or places the hydro jet could damage. He showed me exactly what was going on in my drain pipe with his camera and pointed out a spot that will eventually need repair. He showed me how clean the drain pipe was after finishing his work and guaranteed the work for 6 months. Price was very fair. I highly recommend Tony's for anyone that has to keep old sewer pipes clear of roots. I also highly recommend them for sewer inspection prior to buying a home. I needed hydro-jetting, and the other service I called said they were the best. I had another household name service come out and quote me on the job. $1200-$1600 for a hydro-jetting service, then they skipped out on their service window and date. Over the phone, when Sergio politely asked what I was quoted, I gave him the range. He could have charged me anything within that range. Instead, he said their fee was $950. Sergio gave us a reasonable quote. The service needed ended up taking 4 hours, so more than we thought, but Tony's charged much less that we would have paid our plumbing company. Tony's was recommended by another contractor. My house flooded from the 2nd floor toilet to the entire house. Tony's came by and did the camera, thought maybe it was cracked under my driveway. Tore up my whole driveway didn't find a crack. They claimed they had to tear up the driveway to fix the "pitch". Then they tore of my whole front yard. Filled in the holes but DID NOT FIX MY YARD. I reached out several times and got the run around. Well after they claimed it was fixed and my entire inside was renovated IT FLOODED AGAIN. They claimed it was a different problem. NOOOOO. It was flooding, you didn't fix it, it flooded again. This time my BASEMENTwas dug up!!!!! Now they found concrete in the sewage line (not under the driveway I just flippin dropped $15k on!!!!! Then they tried charging for another camera! Guess what?! Over a year later STILL A PILE OF GRAVEL IN MY YARD AND A CRACKED DRIVEWAY! Which yes I told them about and NOTHING! They lie. Yesterday my father had the most unprofessional and rude service he's ever experienced. A couple of weeks prior they had came out to fix a drain at one of his properties only to have THE SAME ISSUE. The employees come to the property again and my father explains to them that he's not satisfied with the half job they did because the drain is not completely unclogged. The employees make up an excuse and refuse do any work unless they get paid again. Which makes absolutely no sense because it's THE SAME ISSUE as before which means you guys didn't do your job! My father tries to call the office and speaks to a secretary that is completely clueless and doesn't know what's going on. She says to him the manager will give him call. So when the manager calls, my father expresses his issues and frustration he's experiencing at this point. Then the manager says he'll have to call him back after he talks to his employees to figure out what exactly they did. How UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL to not even apologize for all the troubles that he's been experiencing. Not to mention he never called him back to come to a resolution. I called Tony's for a videocamera inspection of a sewer line that had to be done within 5 hours due to a contract. They were able to get someone to the premises within the required time. Within 1 day this company went out to a home I oversee and provided me and my client with an honest and trustworthy assessment of my clients sewer line. We almost gotten taken advantage from a different company for nearly $5K because the other company said a small section of the line needed a new clean out. I was very concerned and so glad we got this ciao you to provide a second assessment and within less than 24 hours of the visit we received a full video with voice clarification while the video scoping line was going through the line. I had them come out because my main sewer line was blocked. They came same day and rodded it out. Was working ok for 3 weeks then I had the city come camera the line cause there was still a blockage. I called them to come back and they told me no warranty and they would come out but I would have to pay again. I think they could have given me some kind of discount considering it wasn't even a month. So I called someone else who was 50.00 cheaper and gives a warranty. read more

Sergio (manager/owner) came out to our house to do power rodding along with a camera inspection because of obstruction in the pipe and sewer backup. Sergio explained and let us view the camera while it was going through the pipe. So we know and see exactly what he sees. Really liked these guys! I called after hours to schedule a rodding service. A live person took my call, gave me a brief range of how much the service normally charges, and was able to schedule me for the next day. I called to confirm the appointment the day of the service and the office staff was able to get me in at even a better time. Wendy at Tony's responded to my request very quickly and sent a guy out the same day. Their quote was the lowest price I received and was $250 CHEAPER than my most expensive quote. Sergio arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. He talked me through everything he was doing and gave advice and tips about what we can do on our own and what to look out for going forward. Calling a plumber/drain cleaner without a good reference is a pretty scary thing these days, but I was stuck and needed to call someone. Tony's website was very informative and honest so I gave them a call. They had someone out in about 2 hours on a Saturday (no extra charge for weekend) and quoted me over the phone what it would cost to unclog my drain that I could not fix myself. Sergio (I think that was his name) showed up and was very polite and professional. He had booties to put over his work boots to keep our home clean. He spent 30 to 40 minutes working to figure out why 2 of my sinks would not drain. It turns out that I did not have a clogged pipe at all. While he was here I figured out it was a component of the sink (newer sinks... very poor design) that was actually causing them not to drain. Once cleaned & repaired they drained fine. Even though I figured out the problem I still felt impelled to pay for the service time that he spent at my home... that is only right. He refused to accept any payment! I tried 2 or 3 times. Dealing with Tony's was a delight! If I ever have a clogged drain or sewer problem again I will be calling Tony's... or if any friend, family member, neighbor, acquaintance, etc. ever has a sewer/drain clop problem I will be recommending Tony's without hesitation.
