I regret not listening to all of their horrible reviews, and I promise you will too if you hire them. I scheduled an appointment for 8am on Monday, by 10am I was panicking because we had a main line sewer clog and had not received any communication. I texted, I called (never went to voicemail except one time days later, every other time it appears someone answered the phone while on mute so I'd just hang up). It wasn't until my husband started calling that he finally got an answer and was told they'd be here at noon. That time again came and went, but they did finally show up at 1pm. The two guys that came out resolved the issue, but said their "card reader was down and could only accept cash". Since this repair is going through my home warranty, I need the invoice for reimbursement and have been told since Monday that Bob (the owner) would send it. Monday night he said, nothing. Tuesday night he said, nothing. Wednesday morning he said he was working on it "right now", nothing. Wednesday evening he said he was working on it "right now", you guessed it - nothing. At this point I don't think it's ever going to happen, likely because this isn't a real company. They're not BBB accredited, cannot communicate over several days, and overall has been a nightmare to work with. I'm kicking myself for cancelling with another plumber that quoted me the same price, so don't be like me - call this guy instead (2247046220) Drainmaster Sewer & Plumbing LLC! Same price, way more professional, and has the reviews to back it up. Additionally, it really rubbed me the wrong way that he would not answer me but would respond when my husband contacted him (on several occasions). Despite me being the one to schedule and pay, it seems Bob does not want to work with women. Run, don't walk, away from this poor excuse of a "business". i came home to two leaking faucets (which i had admittedly been ignoring) and decided this was beyond my scope. i sent a message and Robert immediately called back and asked me to send a video and diagnosed the issue. He was doing a job pretty far away when I called, and still promised to come out as soon as he was done. He communicated well about his arrival time and was genuinely friendly and efficient in his work. (Also shout out to his partner Chris who was equally friendly and efficient!) They had some install issues with the second faucet and stayed until it was completely done and functioning well, past 8pm on a Friday. The price was a touch higher than what I expected BUT I did not ask for an estimate and they did have to do some extra work they didn't anticipate, so I was happy to pay. Affordable plumbing provided service to us about 10 days ago in. replacing Kitchen faucet that was leaking. We had purchased Delta premium faucet and asked them to install. The replacement was inaccurate and the associates did not test the faucet after installation. They rushed out with our new faucet box with tools and accessories. We contacted them many times and many text messages were sent to recover our box with accessories. Everyday promises were made to deliver the box. The new faucet was leaking from the hub as it was not tightened. Follow-up with this company is impossible and not respectable at all. Very bad experience. I would give zero stars if I could! Do NOT use Affordable Plumbing - they did a drain install/tub setting for us back in 2021, last week it failed, and we had water pouring down into our dining room. Initially they responded to my messages (don't call because they don't answer and their voicemail box is full) when they thought it was new work to be done. I told them what happened and at first they tried to say they didn't do the work (which they did) then they said they were in the middle of a mess (and sent a picture of the job site they were on) and that they would reach out later that night. Never got a call, so I reached out again every day for the last week, and other than one reply on Thursday morning saying he would call today (which he didn't) they have completely ignored our messages, even when I asked if we just need to call another plumber! Least expensive water heater of the 3 quotes I got. I recently used them for a sump pump and boy was I lucky - rained heavy the next day, but their product worked great, and there's a huge difference between their pump and my old one - theirs doesn't make much noise at all. Very hush. I especially like their responsiveness and that they communicate well with pictures and emails. I also liked they didn't charge me a rush fee even though they came over within the hour. Lastly, they were very professional, especially with Covid. I think these guys are trustworthy, they do great quality work for the least expensive price, and they do it fast. We were so lucky to have called Bobby. We just wanted a faucet replaced on the kitchen sink. I have done this type of thing before and in an older house rust and mineral deposits can ruin your day. In this case him and his buddy Chris could not turn water valve off and the old faucet cemented on. It took both of them and sawing the thing off with a Heavy Duty Variable Speed Rotating Handle Reciprocating Saw to get it. Both were very Pleasant, on time and extremely affordable. I needed a tankless water heater installed and 3/4" pipe replaced with 1" pipe in the crawl space and his quote was WAY better than the 4 other plumbers I got a quotes from. Just a horrible company! The 'work' they performed looked like it was done by an 8 year old, they left a big mess in our home, the workers were extremely rude and used foul language and threatened to rip our basement drain apart if we didn't pay them right away, and they didn't fix the issue we called them for after charging us $400.00 They said they wanted to come back again and charge us another $400.00 and we ended up calling a another plumber who came out and charged $145.00 and fixed the problem in about an hour. Called to have a shut off valve that was frozen changed. I will say Affordable Plumbing was the first to reach out, but in the end it means nothing. Was supposed to show up Friday (12/17) "late morning or early afternoon". I sat home and waited. At around 3pm I sent a text and tried calling. About 3:30 or so, finally got a hold of him and he said he couldn't make it as they were working on another job. Okay....it happens. Then said he would be out Saturday morning. It's 3 pm. I called Bobby today to look at an issue with my water heater. He was so kind and courteous on the phone and listened to the issue I was seeing with the pilot light not lightning correctly. My spouse, 6 year old and 3 year old were filthy from working outside and we weren't able to take showers the night before. I also had just come back from running 6 miles. I was in a bit of bind with no hot water. The first thing Bobby did was reassure me he'd get me taken care of ON A SUNDAY.
