Save your money and eat elsewhere! My sister and I ordered the summer rolls for $6 (3 rolls). We excitedly bit into our rolls only to find iceberg lettuce and a few measly rice noodles. I've ordered plenty of summer rolls before and they always have mint, a protein, and plenty of dipping sauce- this was NOT the case with their "summer rolls." Don't believe Leo C's review! I ordered the summer rolls (expecting what was listed on the menu) and the only thing inside was rice noodles and shredded lettuce... I called to ask what happened to the shrimp, and I was informed that they don't put any meat, tofu, herbs, or apparently much of anything in the rolls for that matter! They still charge the same 5.99 price tag, though! When I very kindly and politely expressed my disappointment, and asked where I could find their menu for future orders seeing as it's apparently different from what I was expecting, I was very rudely told that the menu doesn't exist and was asked "what do you want me to do about it?!" I've worked at many restaurants in my day, so I don't usually complain at all, and even this interaction was more of a helpful pointer to them about a discrepancy. How can service be so bad when you're just getting take out?? I used to order here pretty regularly. I'll try somewhere else going forward. read more

The new fried chicken selections are amazing! The sushi is always great and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Not sure why so many people have negative words, because I like this place, and I eat out everywhere ... just see all my food posts as proof!!!! I order from here often, and what's to complain about? DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM IT WILL MAKE YOU SICK!! Tried this for the first time, ordered the sushi sashimi combo for a light dinner at work as a special treat for my birthday!! Sushi looks fresh but I don't think I can eat it and here's why: I'm not sure why bc I didn't order it but there was a pint of hot soup (which nothing but all broth with some green in it) bagged in with my need-to-stay-cold sushi! Since my sushi felt warm to the touch and was heated up to a whooping 81.5 degrees by the hot soup I'm pretty sure it's unsafe to eat since I'm not sure how long it has been at this temperature. Please consider food safety when packing sushi or pack separately so the driver can store them apart from each other! I'm very disappointed I wasted over $30 p***ed off bc I'll be hungry all night and I'm on duty until 11, too late to grab something on the way home!! read more

Okay, so we have gone back. There aren't that many places in town. But here's my complaint after getting their pork lo mein. It has 45% rice, 45% lo mein noodles, 4% pork, and 6% vegetables. Who makes lo mein this way? I've never had rice in lo mein! You don't need it with the noodles. Obviously this is a way to give the customer as little value for the dollar as possible. I'm a little surprised at the low star rating. I ordered a shrimp pad Thai- delicious, fresh and light. The prices are good and option to deliver. Happy to be a returning customer! I love this place. I discovered it at the beginning of 2022. I don't understand where bad reviews come from. I eat sushi from here a lot and it's always so fresh and has been phenomenal. I also like their Chinese food as well. I've had their chicken teriyaki, sesame chicken, general tso, and those were all really good too. Plus they never use MSG in their food which is amazing in itself. Don't let the negative reviews hinder you from eating here it's really good. read more

While I rarely ever write a review, the food was so terrible I felt I had to share. Since it was a Monday, the other Chinese food places were closed so we tried Tony's Fusion Express. The Chicken Lo Mein tasted like microwave dollar noodles. The "all-white meat" chicken was hard, and the insides looked like a rubbery paste. And on top of it, the food was for the most part cold. Worst Chinese food we have ever had. We had both not eaten since yesterday's lunch, so this was very disappointing. Bad quality food. Positives: the egg-roll was good and the pork-fried rice (though it looked like a soggy brown rice mush, it was the only other thing that had good taste). read more

Off putting service that makes you want to go elsewhere. Food is fair at best. Empty egg rolls, and rubbery tasteless chicken was my last experience. I don't really know how they survive since most reviews seem to agree. Go to Matsulin instead. You'll pay more, but it's worth it. read more

God-awful service--and I was getting takeout! There was one--one--customer in the restaurant at the time. It took longer to give my order--eggplant in garlic sauce, with soup--than it would've taken me to make it. They tell me it'll be ready in 10 to 15 minutes, but when I get there in about 20, they tell me they don't have egg plant. Earlier, they'd told me all their rolls were fried. I pointed out the summer rolls to them right there on the menu. Then I waited while they cooked the food. No apologies, no freebies, just a shrug. I won't be back. read more

I was visiting a friend that lives in Hampton Bays and we got lunch from Tony's. She called the order in and it was ready within the time frame they said (20 minutes). Due to it being lunch hour, I ordered the $11.99 3 roll special that includes a soup and salad. I got the Ponquogue roll, Alaska roll, and Spicy Tuna roll. I was so excited to get to the beach and eat my sushi. I tore open the bag only to find disappointment after disappointment. There was no spoon for my soup-- so I drank it and ate the rest with chopsticks! On to the next.. salad.. I opened the box and voila! Five little pieces of romaine lettuce and I think a cherry tomato constituted my salad. There was 2 or 3 to-go little containers of salad dressing for all 5 of my pieces. And last but not least was my sushi.. last time I checked all rolls include 6 pieces of sushi. Well, I got jipped 1 piece from one of my rolls. The rolls were tasty, but I really had to make my one half-full small container of soy sauce last all 17 pieces of sushi. I'm disappointed, Tony's. I really enjoy your spot in East Moriches and am looking forward to checking out your new place in Shirley. But this location disappointed me, and I rarely give out less-than stellar reviews. read more

This place is just about as authentic as a Kardashian wedding, a fusion spot where nothing actually gets fused. Fusion, in a sense, since the menu is cluttered with all kinds of Asian dishes clumped together, in case you feel like having a dragon roll...next to your kung pao chicken...next to your pad thai...next to your Vietnamese spring rolls. Cafeteria style decor is the first warning sign at this Hampton Bays eatery. Sushi is just ahhhh. Go to the East Quogue and experience better, fresher sushi...plus a much nicer decor.This is now a chain of resturaunts that has an enormous menu that is difficult to keep all these items fresh. Here's the deal. If you're looking for "traditional Chinese" at a great price, in a slightly upscale "take out place" that's "OK" to stay and eat a quick bite, this is your place. (Lunch and dinner specials range from $6-$10) That's the good news. BUT-be prepared for some weird to bad service. We've been here a couple of times. The lunch and dinner specials are a great value. The food is fresh and well cooked. My new husband (from the east end) and I were used to going to the East Quogue location which is a full lounge/bar restaurant. Nice service and extended menu. The Hampton Bays location is for take out and very casual dining. We ordered of the dinner special "to stay" before getting on the road . My husband also ordered a soda and water. The girl put down two cups and rang up a soda and a bottle of water. Tap water my husband said. She took back the second cup and said "this is take out-no cups of water". Really? We placed the order to stay (and diner came on dinner plate and trays). We said we never heard of anything so ridiculous before...she didn't care. Right after we sat to eat the entire staff (about 6 people) came out to eat with us in the dining area....they had glasses of water. read more

I went here last week with my girl friend to buy a simple meal, chicken and broccoli. Unfortunately, this is something even Tony's can't accomplish. Upon ordering, I was greeted by a worker who was clearly high on marijuana as his eyes were barely open. When I finally got the food after 20 minutes, they tried to hand me a paper bag of dog shit thinking I wouldn't notice till I got home. This is no way to treat a customer. When I asked for the food the fat Chinese man just chuckled and ran to the back room. I am thoroughly disappointed with this restaurant. If I come back it will be with a health inspector. read more

I visited Tony's on July 4th weekend 2013. Before getting on my train back to Manhattan, I went with a friend for a quick bite. The sushi chef accommodated me by making my order right away since he was aware I had a train to catch. I ordered a $12.95 roll thinking it would be filling. When I picked up the roll from the counter, I was very disappointed that it was soooooo small. Had I not already paid, I would not have accepted it. The fish portion was very stingy. At least add more rice and make the roll appear larger. Incidentially, the brown rice used in the roll tasted a bit hard like it was sitting around for awhile. My friend had a chinese dish for half the price of my roll and the portion was reasonable so maybe I would go with that IF I ever go back. read more

The food is tasteless and over priced compared to the Chinese take out on the opposite side of the street. I've had two deliveries, both took over an hour to arrive and were cold and dried out. The staff are also very rude. I can't say enough bad about the place - especially since I've given them so many chances. Stay away!! read more
