Tony's Rude fusion West Displeased Report - Saturday 8/8/26 After more than a dozen visits, today was the breaking point for this location. At noon, the dining room was nearly deserted aside from three staffers -- yet the atmosphere in the back kitchen was loud, tense, and openly hostile. One staff member in particular barked orders at others with an aggression that made the entire space feel uncomfortable. Tony should have no trouble identifying who I'm referring to. Service at the bar was equally unacceptable. I sat for ten minutes before being acknowledged, and when I finally asked for a menu, it was tossed toward me with visible irritation. Ordering a simple seven‑piece lunch seemed to confuse the server, who responded with exaggerated facial expressions that were both rude and unprofessional. My salad and cutlery were delivered with a scowl. I offered a polite "thank you," and received nothing in return -- not even eye contact. This location's staff culture is the polar opposite of Tony's East Quogue and other establishments. Until this team is completely restructured, I won't be returning. read more

We ordered take out sushi. The rolls had the appearance, texture and flavor of Styrofoam. Not ever going back.

It's freezing out and I decide I really am in the mood for Soup. I call order 2 soups Tom Yum Goong and Tom Ka Gai . I see under them on the menu. It's only offered in the quart size so I one of each. When I get there? They charge price on the menu and hand me two pints. I pointed out the error and the woman at the counter tells me that it's only offered as a small. I show her the menu and she tells me the menu is wrong and walks into the kitchen. I tried talking with her and each time she walked away. Very poor customer service and the soups lacked the customary ingredients like lemongrass containing only the meat, peppers and onions, mushrooms and the broth was very similar with one containing coconut and the other not. I am sad as I thought this would be my new go to spot. read more

I came here with m sin and husband. Very disappointed. My sonn zorder tge duck which all the fish. It was listed on tge menu for $32 but tgey told us is $47. Ok so we agreed. When tge dish came out it was only tge duck with some vegetables with no fish. I order the hibachi filaMinion medium rare It was over cooked and tasted more like steak. I waited well over an hour for the food and asked the waitress many times what happened to the order and she had no intelligent response. I've only ever gotten takeout - great in a pinch. Quick service, consistently high quality, very reasonably priced food compared to local spots, and never a bad meal. I usually stick with their Thai curries or sushi. Tony's is the move - especially if you want a break from over-priced and underwhelming "Italian" food, deep fried seafood, and "new American" overly populating the area. read more

Big disappointment. Vegetables were old and shriveled. They use scrapes and ends. Yet they ask good money. Soups are BLAND.

Used to like this spot a lot. Always had decent sushi and it's the only place you can get any sort of Thai curry. My unagi roll was 90% avocado and the green curry was bland and every veggie was absolute mush. Not worth the convenience, go to sushi one for sushi and make your own curry with Mae ploy curry paste, it's the same stuff they use. Tony's has a huge and very confusing menu - you can find anything here from Thai to Chinese to Sushi. Most of the menu items are Americanized and not authentic, but oh well. It's the only place in the area that has Thai, so I guess it has that going for it. The first time I came here I ordered the mango chicken dish. This dish was very bland and there was barely any mango or chicken on the plate. Also, the sauce was barely noticeable and it tasted more like Pad Thai then Mango chicken. My girlfriend ordered a special roll and that was not bad. That being said, I came back here again last night. I ordered a few rolls of sushi that were very good. We dined here a couple of years ago and I splurged and got the big seafood dish (whatever it was called back then) and I was looking forward to the crab that was supposed to be in it. Well, there was no crab and when I questioned it, the woman (owner?) told me there was and pointed to a piece smaller than my pinky fingernail. I argued the point and she poked my fork in it and again said that was crab. If it was indeed, it was so tiny that it shouldn't have even been mentioned. I should have told her that I am from San Francisco and we know our crab, but oh well. Very bad, very cranky service, food was ok except for the crab incident. It is crazy how there are so many Tony's Asian fusion and they are all so different. East quogue is brighter, busier and better sushi, but they only take American Express and have a limited menu for happy hour which is every day til 6. Westhampton Tony's is dark, the sushi is okay, they take all credit cards. Happy hour is hit or miss...sometimes they say they have it and sometimes they don't....when they do, you can't go wrong. Only offered m-th til 5, Half priced sushi ( full sushi menu) and half priced martinis. It's usually empty though, because no one knows about it! They seem to do a lot of Chinese take-out. East moriches location is nice, but the waitstaff seem to have an attitude and the sushi is not very good. But I hear hampton bays is really bad...will not ever try that place based on what people who have been there tell me! read more

STAY AWAY...STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I usually don't do Asian food in the Hampton's. For some reason the Hampton's has always lacked fine Asian cuisine. A few years back, we went to Tony's Asian Fusion on Montauk Hwy, it was ok, nothing special, not bad. My son had a craving for Chinese so we figured we'd try Tony's; its been open in the Town of Westhampton for a few years. WHY??? HOW ARE THEY STILL OPEN? This restaurant should be condemned by the health department. We walked in, there is a strong musty odor. It didn't smell like food. The walls are black, the tables and chairs are black and the floor, that was once brown, is now black from dirt. It's depressing. It was a long day and almost 7pm My son was hungry so we ordered: BBQ Spare ribs, crab spring rolls, Steak & Shrimp Q and Chicken Mei Fun, 2diet cokes with lime, "NOT lemon ,please". The server wrote nothing down. 3 minutes later she served 2 diet cokes with lemon and then asked me to repeat my, order she forgot part of it. I complied and asked for lime...I never saw the lime. Our food: dry over charred ribs with some red sauce thrown on it. My son ate them even though they were dry. He was hungry. I took a bite, not happening. The crab spring rolls looked great but they were light and could have used another minute in the fryer. I bit into it and it was fishy and doughy. Old crab & undercooked dough. The served didn't return, so I put them at the end of my table. When she brought the entrees, I told her the crab was fowl and not fresh. She said "All food fresh" and removed them. She put down out entrees. They looked nice, but when we bit into a piece of filet mignon it was hard. The meat was grey and unchewable. The shrimp were mushy and fishy. Nothing is fresh here. I called the server over and complained. She said "all food fresh here". Our table was at front near the hostess, neither she or the manager came to me when I asked for them, although they did look my way . I asked for the check without eating the entree's. They charged me for EVERYTHING, EVEN THE CRAB ROLLS. I refused to pay. I left $15 cash for 2 sodas and BBQ ribs, walked out and went to Pizzetteria Brunetti down the street; a sure thing for fast great pizza. I'm reporting this restaurant to the health department. Seating for about 70 I could see this place filling up quickly so call ahead and reserve. The menu is a combination of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai guaranteed to satisfy. Their menu, like the other Tony's branches, is expansive. In atypical fashion, I went with the Thai, on which I am not an authority by any means, so proceed with caution... We got there RIGHT as lunch ended, and they wouldn't budge and give us the lower rate for our dishes, so that sucked, but a place needs its limits, so que sera, sera. Regardless, they were pretty rude greeting us upon entering on a hot day, and the place was empty, barring some raspy-voiced teenage girls with nothing to do take advantage of the 3-5pm special (below). Difficulty ensued in a number of unforgivable front-of-house scenarios: Service, if you dare call it that, was abyssmal at best, with very inaccurate ETAs, no utensils (when asked we were told they don't come with sauce and that we can pay them for extra sauce, then brought one free-floating fork and spoon for 2 humans standing there, and they didn't have knives) We took deep, collective breaths and dug in on a nearby bench. The Chinese sesame chicken was a nice portion but would've preferred it as a lunch special. My thai dish was tasty, not spectacular, and lukewarm, not hot (maybe that's the convention, IDK--just an observation). It was admittedly not a terribly meager portion for 8 bucks of thai in WHB. Some tips: They have their own lot but are close enough to the strip that you could incorporate one into the other pretty easily. There's a 3-5pm happy hour with half-off sushi for those who dine in, and cheap drinks. Needless to say, my Tony's faith has dwindled quite a bit and it upsets me deeply. read more

Whent here for lunch on a Friday got seated quick with 7 people. It was not crowded at all but it will fill up quick at night. Service was quick and curdious. I ordered form the Japanese side of the menu. I had the spicy crunch tuna roll and the Philadelphia roll that came with house salad and miso soup. All of the food was delicious. Came here on the 4th of July after watching the fireworks. It was almost closing time,so we were grateful that they could accommodate a group of 7. We ordered the Pad Kra Pao & it comes with a choice of chicken/beet. We ordered both so we could share. It comes sautéed w.basil, eggplant & bell peppers in hot & spicy sweet chili sauce.Yummy! No complaints. Also ordered the seafood Kaeng Ped, made with coconut milk, bell peppers, lemon leaves, basil & bamboo shoots. This dish was a little bland. Just ok. The house special spare ribs were nice & tender, which was surprising since I assumed all this stuff have been lingering around all day & given that time of night. We also ordered a few appetizers, but the most notable one were the chicken & beef Satays. All in all a good experience & service. I will come back next time I'm in town. This place was cute when we visited; the decor was nice and the bathrooms were clean. We only got takeout so I can't comment on the service except that they gave conservative estimates for how long we'd wait for our takeout. The food was good and there were vegan options (not on the menu, you have to ask for tofu instead of meat) and gluten-free menu items. You do need to talk to the staff to make sure which is which because the menu was a little difficult to navigate at times. The food wasn't really Thai, Chinese or Japanese, it was definitely Americanized. I don't really have a problem with that but some people do. The food was incredibly greasy - this is my only complaint. The food wasn't terribly expensive for the location. I'd eat there again in a pinch. read more

We are it all and were still hungry! The rolls were not tight and contained very little ingredients. The fish was fresh and they did give us the extra wasabi we asked for.
