The prices are definitely cheaper than the big box stores for a lot of stuff and all of their plants are extremely healthy-they have a good variety of vegetables as well and they look worlds different from the things you can buy at the big box stores!! Echo Valley Natives is a small family owned retail nursery specializing in quality and ethically…read moregrown PNW native plants. They first opened in 2001 in Oregon City. In 2021, they moved to Sandy. Their website maintains an availability sheet so you can see what they've got before you make the drive out, but it is worth visiting to see the plants in action. They have small display gardens. The entire property is outdoors so dress warmly in case of rain. They're open year round, but at a high enough elevation that they get snow in winter so plan accordingly. I recently visited looking for plants to go near my frog pond. The staff was so helpful in showing me around to potential options. I have a decent native plant knowledge but they've got so many options! Plants I've never heard of before! As usual, I left with more plants than I planned on getting :) So far, they're happy in the ground, and I can't wait to see how they thrive in spring. Keep an eye on the business's social media for sales. Oh and they accept nursery pots back so you don't have to trash or recycle them!

We had an idea of what we wanted, and within minutes they were gathering pieces from around the grounds and building two complete fountains right in front of us so we could compare styles, sound, and flow. They filled each fountain by hand, balanced them perfectly, and turned them on so we could experience the full effect. We were honestly blown away. The craftsmanship, the care, and the attention to detail were on another level. Stefan's pricing is more than fair -- especially considering we had looked online beforehand and anything comparable was well over $3,000. His deal was so good we couldn't pass it up. He answered every question with patience and expertise, and let us know they could deliver to the Fisher's Landing area after glazing the piece, which we requested. Just as promised, Stefan called on Wednesday and arrived promptly for delivery. He and his one man crew handled the extremely heavy base with ease and professionalism, bringing everything carefully around to our backyard. In under 30 minutes, they had the fountain set, filled, leveled, running beautifully, and even treated the water with algicide. The level of service was truly above and beyond. I called them after the delivery to let them know they delivered the wrong product and they blamed their supplier for the color difference and said sorry but too bad. They never gave me a heads up prior to my order about the color difference. I would never have ordered if I knew it was brown. I spent hard earned money only to be mislead on what kind of product I was getting. Now half of my yard will be brown and the other half is black. Been here a couple times now and it's a real easy process. They open at 7:30a-5pm mon-fri, 9-4 Saturday, and close Sunday. Follow the signs and wait at the office for an attendant. Starts at $12, It hasn't been very busy, and you kind of on your own unloading. I have only dropped off tree limbs and yard debris; on my way out I see you can purchase lots of different ground material. From other yelp reviews, they look like they have pretty decent prices and are pretty satisfied. I will be looking into possibly purchasing something for my yard. It's definitely place to check out!
