But you know what, in fairness to all the competitors (like Ichiban Sushi in Ogden) that I've found up North; I'm leaving this review. Fact. Most places are 50¢ if not inclusive. $1.50+? Yeah, no. The Bento boxes come with a lot of food but the quality is subpar. Not much of your main entree but a whole lot of everything else! So imo sushi places run the gamut from bad to great. This is neither of those. But it's better than average and you can't beat the price for the ayce. My wife took my daughter's prom dress shopping and so the boy and I decided to go out to eat. The ayce is $12 for kids twelve and under and $19 for everyone over thirteen. And includes appetizers. My son loves the crab rangoons. We ordered edamame, tempura vegetables and rangoons as appetizers and it was all very good. We ordered a selection of roles that were all very good as well. Not the best I've had but not bad. And my son loved it. The MOAB, was my favorite. The service is good not overly friendly or attentive but not bad either. I did have to flag down my server to refill my water and again to add to our order. Not a big deal. As first timers, we immediately were greeted by the world class customer service from Roslynn! She was accommodated us, after we asked for a space to support our daughter who has ASD. Good price for all you can eat sushi but the sushi wasn't the best I've had. These are rolls I normally get at any typical sushi spot and it was just not that great here. I believe it's their eel sauce that throws me off a bit. And the flavors don't really come together as they should. This was a great find! My son-in-law said he has been coming here with his grandpa since he was young. So I figured it was just a nostalgic place. But to my surprise, it was absolutely delicious! My friends and I were in town for a convention, and we decided to try Tony's for its All You Can Eat sushi. The other reviews that say they overstuff their sushi with rice are true. Personally I didn't mind it as much, but it is something to consider. The interior is nothing too memorable; just simple booths and tables to cater to a family crowd. The staff was really friendly, and they're the only reason I would consider giving this place a 2 instead of a 1. Things were going alright for most of the night until things got really bad towards the end. First, they gave several plates of our AYCE sushi to a different table, and gave us someone else's food. Very confusing. We had been waiting for our food for a long time before we finally figured out what had happened to it. Second, something definitely tasted off about some of the eel sauce. It wasn't bad at first, but some dishes that arrived later had sauce on it that had a bitter aftertaste. Something about it just wasn't right. Third and the reason why I'm giving this place 1 star: my friend's sushi roll had plastic cling wrap inside it! It was well hidden inside a densely packed roll, so he didn't realize it was there until he had already ingested some. Thankfully he was able to get it out of his system when he puked in the bathroom. I'm just glad nothing worse happened. Unfortunately we didn't think to take a photo before we left. I mean... for what it's worth, my friends who got simple entrees for their meal had a good experience! But plastic wrap IN the food is just plain dangerous. It's good but so expensive for what you get. I could go to a really good sushi place and feed my family of 3 for the $70 I spent here. We were here yesterday for my nieces birthday dinner. This wasn't the best or worst AYCE sushi bar but the wait after our first round was pretty dang long! We had a reservation for 4:00 party of 10. Appetizers were yummy (& amazing that it's included with the AYCE option!) miso soup was good although on the bitter side, and rolls were decent. My favorite would probably be the spicy tuna mochi. Service was great and our waitress was very kind. A pretty good first time experience.
