But you know what, in fairness to all the competitors (like Ichiban Sushi in Ogden) that I've found up North; I'm leaving this review. Fact. Every single time I've been here in well over a year the quality has gone down. WAY down South. Main concern is the Sushi is not fresh! Ladies and gentlemen it is not! It doesn't hold together and has an extremely pungent fishy taste. Every single time. No thank you! They will also nickel and dime you if you request a specific sauce. Ok. Most places are 50¢ if not inclusive. $1.50+? Yeah, no. The Bento boxes come with a lot of food but the quality is subpar. Not much of your main entree but a whole lot of everything else! When I order a Bento I'm one hundred percent focused on the entree itself. And aside from not fresh rolls; the rice here (they waaay overdo it with everything). My God! I love most of the sushi and the all you can eat is usually my go-to but the grill is also delicious and affordable so if you have friends who aren't sushi lovers, there's food for them too. So imo sushi places run the gamut from bad to great. This is neither of those. But it's better than average and you can't beat the price for the ayce. My wife took my daughter's prom dress shopping and so the boy and I decided to go out to eat. The ayce is $12 for kids twelve and under and $19 for everyone over thirteen. And includes appetizers. My son loves the crab rangoons. We ordered edamame, tempura vegetables and rangoons as appetizers and it was all very good. We ordered a selection of roles that were all very good as well. Not the best I've had but not bad. And my son loved it. The MOAB, was my favorite. The service is good not overly friendly or attentive but not bad either. I did have to flag down my server to refill my water and again to add to our order. Not a big deal. As first timers, we immediately were greeted by the world class customer service from Roslynn! She was accommodated us, after we asked for a space to support our daughter who has ASD. Her excellent customer service didn't end there and she was amazing through our visit by checking on us and making sure our drinks were filled. Food is amazing, service is wonderful the waitresses are excellent and friendly customer service. Some of my favorites are Smoked salmon nigiri it's rich, buttery and smokey. Fan tail shrimp nigiri, the angry lion king and the BSCR, the house sauce on that is wonderful. I will always come back to eat those. read more

Good price for all you can eat sushi but the sushi wasn't the best I've had. These are rolls I normally get at any typical sushi spot and it was just not that great here. I believe it's their eel sauce that throws me off a bit. And the flavors don't really come together as they should. This was a great find! My son-in-law said he has been coming here with his grandpa since he was young. So I figured it was just a nostalgic place. But to my surprise, it was absolutely delicious! I personally do not like sushi, so I just had teriyaki chicken, rice, vegetables, a salad, soup, and potstickers. But my daughter and son-in-law got so much sushi! They were in heaven. My friends and I were in town for a convention, and we decided to try Tony's for its All You Can Eat sushi. The other reviews that say they overstuff their sushi with rice are true. Personally I didn't mind it as much, but it is something to consider. The interior is nothing too memorable; just simple booths and tables to cater to a family crowd. The staff was really friendly, and they're the only reason I would consider giving this place a 2 instead of a 1. Things were going alright for most of the night until things got really bad towards the end. First, they gave several plates of our AYCE sushi to a different table, and gave us someone else's food. Very confusing. We had been waiting for our food for a long time before we finally figured out what had happened to it. Second, something definitely tasted off about some of the eel sauce. It wasn't bad at first, but some dishes that arrived later had sauce on it that had a bitter aftertaste. Something about it just wasn't right. Third and the reason why I'm giving this place 1 star: my friend's sushi roll had plastic cling wrap inside it! It was well hidden inside a densely packed roll, so he didn't realize it was there until he had already ingested some. Thankfully he was able to get it out of his system when he puked in the bathroom. I'm just glad nothing worse happened. Unfortunately we didn't think to take a photo before we left. I mean... for what it's worth, my friends who got simple entrees for their meal had a good experience! But plastic wrap IN the food is just plain dangerous. Perfectly good AYCE sushi joint. Rolls were good, lots of veg options, and even some appetizers included, even the tempura veggies! The only reason for 3 stars is the price. It's good but so expensive for what you get. I could go to a really good sushi place and feed my family of 3 for the $70 I spent here. If it were just a few of us then it would have been understandable but with a table of 7 people paying 200 bucks who waited an hour to even get our food, that was flat unacceptable. Appetizers were yummy (& amazing that it's included with the AYCE option!) miso soup was good although on the bitter side, and rolls were decent. My favorite would probably be the spicy tuna mochi. This came well recommended by multiple persons. They talked about the $15 all you could eat. Frankly, I couldn't understand the menu description, it comes with appetizers, you get full rolls of 8+ pcs, and they charge you for pieces you don't eat. It reminded me of the 72 oz steak in Alabama that you had to eat ALL the fixin's & the steak to get the steak for free. I decided to pass and order rolls a la carte. They agreed to do a special app for me - tempura crab sticks w/ponzu - for $3.75 for 2 sticks. It was good, but coating was different and crab stick was falling apart as I ate it. Ordered spicy tuna roll and smoky mountain roll, both w/soy paper (upcharge). Served quickly. No wasabi anywhere and extra ginger as requested. Spicy tuna flavorful and not as hot as we had in TX, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. BBQ sauce on smoky mountain, along with larger, more mature asparagus, overwhelmed the flavor on the smoky mountain roll. I left more than half of it on the plate.
