The quantity of food is much better when dining in, though I really don't think I would do much damage to the All You Can Eat buffet. If you opt for takeout, the prices are extremely reasonable especially if you are a Sashimi lover such as myself. As always, my favorites are the seaweed salad and squid salad; but alas, I've tried their sushi rolls and the salmon sushi roll (6 piece) is definitely one of my favorites. In regards to Sashimi, you honestly cannot go wrong with any of them! You can actually taste the smoky flavor in the smoked salmon which I've yet to find anywhere else that tastes this good. The caramel shrimp is a MUST TRY along with their fantastic and crunchy flying fish eggs. Mussels shooter's are never a disappointment! The jalapeno pepper is similar to jalapeno poppers in other Japanese establishments. Fish is always fresh and I've never had a bad meal or experience. Highly recommend Sushi Pro to all sushi enthusiast's!

Had a great lunch today at Sushi Pro, the kaitan style restaurant is super fun. Our server was sweet, fast, and helpful. The all you can eat also includes some beverages and desserts - which were so good :)

This was a really unfortunate experience. My first few rolls were okay, I also tried the shrimp shumai which was not really a good item to be left on a conveyor belt since it got cold and oily, and I felt like the prices were so disappointing; $7 for 4 pieces of sunset roll is pretty wild as it is, but then I pulled a hair from the middle of the roll and it really put the nail in the coffin. I couldn't get the image of hair being in all the rolls on the belt out of my head and I had to call it quits. The saving grace was the server who was very kind and took all my rolls off the check. I really enjoy conveyor belt sushi, and it's great that this spot is open Sundays, but sushi pro needs to make some changes, it's not cutting it right now.

Came here last minute with friends to have sushi and it was a cool experience. The sushi and speciality drinks are served on a conveyor belt. They have many different rolls. It's a unique concept it just moves in circles and you grab what you want. It's like a sushi buffet. The options are color coded by plates. So specific colors are different prices. Ranging from $2.99-6.99. You also have the option to order off their menu. When you do it is delivered by a robot car on top of the sushi buffet. It's a cool concept how this all works. Service was decent. It felt slow to get our waters and our check though the waitress was very friendly and never made a mistake on anything we ordered. It's great that the sushi is buffet style because your speed to eat is at your own discretion. Overall it was a great experience. My only complaint is I felt 4 pieces to a roll wasn't a full roll but does make sense because you can choose many options. I will say the sushi taste good because we ate it before could capture any pictures it went from grab to mouth. They do have an option for all you can eat for $35 a person.

The rotating sushi belt is such a cool thing to me. You can either pay by plate or opt for all you can eat. The tables were kind of small and plates stack up really fast. The sushi was good and I'd likely come here again. The service was alright, nothing to write home about, but overall I think it's a place worth checking out for yourself!

Fun, atmosphere, great for family and kids and anyone wanting to try sushi that hasn't. Affordable, good, smaller portions. Anything you order off the menu comes on the train to your table. You also have the options of picking up anything rotating through the conveyor belt. Service was a little on the slow side, not we were not in any rush so not a big deal. We had the young coconut drinks, they need to make the openings bigger so that a spoon can fit and you get the young coconut meat out of the shell. Loved their prices, and smaller portions so you can try more items. This is not a high end, high quality sushi place, so as long as you know that going in, you'll enjoy it. Would def go back again. Also thought it was cute they added in poki sticks, marble drinks, boba treats on their conveyor belt as well.

The quality of food is bad for All you can eat places overall. However, their food was great! I would visit again. The owner was checking with us to see if we enjoyed the food. Great service. It is cool to see a delivery train as well.

Our server Codie was amazing, she checked on us often and made us feel welcomed. It was our first time here, we came almost right when they opened so everything tasted pretty fresh. The sushi that we had was pretty good, but the portions were not that great for the price. The slices of fish for the nigiri and sashimi were cut so thinly. That was pretty much the only downside and why I rated it a 3.

    Cathy S.

Fun experience with the rotating belt. We had the all you can eat which includes beverage, sushi on belt, and hot food you can order. Service was super slow when ordering vs belt. Had variety of sushi from belt along with appetizer options, fruit, yogurt bites, and bottled variety drinks besides tea and boba. Teriyaki chicken with shrimp - shrimp was beyond over cooked. Fun to try and visit.

Solid sushi place. You go here more for the experience as the conveyor belt is super fun and somewhat authentic. My wife lived in Japan for a few years and she said that it was similar to what they have in Japan. The quality of sushi is good but not the best. Again, you go there mostly for the environment and experience. Kids would love it. The service was good, however due to the way it's structured it takes the waiters a while to come back to you if you want to order something else. Fun place.

What I love about conveyer belt sushi is you get to try a lot of different rolls because you are only grabbing a plate with a couple of pieces of sushi. I keep a spreadsheet of the rolls we have tried with a rating so that on subsequent visits, we don't take the one stars off the belt. The top rated rolls for us are Angel, Playboy, Sunrise, Buddha, Santa Fe, and Baked Scallop. I love the citrus and bright flavors of the Sunrise, this one doesn't feel heavy. You know how sometimes you order gyoza and mostly what is good about it is that it is a deep fried thing you can dip into a delicious sauce? Not the case here. The Gyoza is incredible! The flavor is so good you almost don't need a sauce. You can pull it off the belt, but I suggest ordering a couple to arrive by train.

Nice, clean, friendly staff. Delicious definitely worth it. Their cakes are delish coconut and strawberry. Make space to eat a lot.

Fun Concept, Needs More Punch…read more I recently brought my family to Tsubame Rotating Sushi to celebrate my son's birthday, and overall, it was a mixed but worthwhile experience. The main appeal, the rotating sushi belt, was a huge hit! My son was super stoked and absolutely loved the novelty of picking exactly what he wanted right off the conveyor. It certainly makes for a fun, interactive family meal. The Food While the concept is great, the quality was a bit lacking for my wife and me. We found the flavors weren't punchy or vibrant enough to really stand out. Best Roll: The Ponzu Citrus Roll was my favorite, offering a nice, bright flavor. Good Option: The fried options, like the Fried Jalapeño Popper Roll, were generally tasty, but still felt a bit typical or "boring." Skip: My least favorite was the Mango Roll. Bland, no flavor but coconut and rice. Service & Atmosphere On the bright side, the service was excellent. Our server was very nice and was super on top of drink refills, which we really appreciated throughout the meal. The design and overall vibe inside the restaurant were also nice and pleasant. Overall: Come for the fun experience and interactive concept, especially if you have kids (perfect for trying different types of sushi at only $3.59 a plate). If you're looking for top-tier, complex sushi flavors, you might find the food a bit understated.

It had been but a minute since my last visit to Ichiban Sushi Ogden. I made sure to bring my…read moreappetite and it was more than filled and fulfilled! I've always been curious about their Bento Boxes and mine certainly did not disappoint. I went with the Eel Teriyaki Bento which came with two sliced peaches, a small salad, four pieces of a California Roll, a side of vegetables that were finely/perfectly sliced (broccoli, carrots, miniature corn cobs, zucchini, bamboo shoots, and more in a very rich perfectly flavored soy sauce mix), plus a choice of soup (Miso, Hot & Sour, Egg Flower, or Wonton). I went with Miso. OMG. My appetite was more than satisfied long before finishing the whole Bento. The California Roll....honest to God the best that I've ever had! I mean perfection, quality, and freshness. It had been forever (if ever) since I've had an actual sushi roll not break apart, be so fully encased, and loaded with ingredients, and the sushi rice they used.... just absolute 10/10 perfection! The Miso soup was beyond perfection as well. Plenty of tofu and seaweed with a perfectly flavored broth. Unbelievable! The Teriyaki Eel (Unagi) was surprisingly a very good portion size and definitely could not be eaten all at once (like I said; VERY filling). The flavoring and cooking also a 10/10. The side of vegetables I absolutely loved because I've only ever had tempura seasonal vegetables in competitor's Bento Boxes and this was a welcome surprise. It had a soy like seasoning base which just perfectly matched the whole entree. The side salad portion was fresh though the restaurant does put the dressing on for you and that was the only thing that I'd say they should put on the side or a little less of. Nonetheless it did not get wasted or tossed so that should say something. The dressing they used reminded me of a spicy mustard (which I happen to love); however, some might not be as enthusiastic. Lastly (but actually they were first..lol), I had to have my most favorite Mussel Shooter appetizer because it had been far too long. I realize some people might be put off by the raw Quail Egg (they are actually really good for you), but I promise you, the way they finely mince the mussels meat..then they add scallions, tobiko and the sweet yet tart yet perfect Ponzu sauce and it's a delicious glorious Heaven. Honestly I want to go back here tonight after writing this. Everything was THAT good! I also had added on a side of their Eel sauce and Chili Oil with my meal and both were just as amazing as all the rest. The prices here for the quality are beyond the vast majority of where I have been to in regards to Japanese food. I cannot highly enough suggest or recommend trying one of Ichiban Sushi Bento Boxes for yourself (or anything else on their delicious menu)! Try it for yourself. You just might be surprised in the most glorious of ways.

Rave Review for So Delicious Japanese Wasabi in Ogden, Utah…read more (5/5 stars) Oh man, where do I even start? My wife and I stumbled upon So Delicious Japanese Wasabi on a whim during a date night in Ogden, and let me tell you--it's officially our new go-to spot for sushi that doesn't just satisfy, it transcends the ordinary. Tucked away in the heart of Ogden, this place has that perfect unpretentious vibe: cozy lighting, friendly staff who treat you like family, and a menu that's a treasure trove of creative rolls that scream "fresh from the sea" with every bite. We dove headfirst into their specialty rolls, and each one was a flavor explosion. The Rainbow Roll was a vibrant masterpiece--layers of fresh salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and avocado draped over sticky rice, topped with a rainbow of fish slices that melted in your mouth. It was like a sunset on your plate, bright, balanced, and bursting with umami. Then came the Dream Come True Roll, and yeah, it lived up to its name. Tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, and cream cheese wrapped in soy paper, finished with a drizzle of eel sauce and masago? Pure bliss. The textures played off each other so perfectly--crunchy, creamy, spicy, sweet. We were already hooked. But the Royal Roll? That one elevated the whole meal. King crab, asparagus, and cucumber inside, crowned with seared scallops and a caviar flourish. It felt indulgent, like royalty-approved sushi, with every piece screaming sophistication without a hint of stuffiness. And hold onto your chopsticks--the Thunder Roll stole the show. When our server brought it out, they lit it on fire right at the table! Flames dancing over the spicy yellowtail and jalapeño-filled roll, infusing it with that smoky edge before it even hit our plates. The heat from the torch caramelized the tops just right, adding this incredible char that paired insanely well with the kick inside. We were cheering like kids at a fireworks show--total spectacle and 100% delicious. What really set everything apart, though, was the rice. Usually, sushi rice is a supporting player, but here? Unusually large grains that somehow stayed separate yet clung together in perfect harmony. Seasoned to absolute perfection-- that subtle vinegar tang and just the right amount of sweetness-- it was the canvas that made every roll shine. I've had sushi all over Utah, and this rice game is next-level; it elevates the whole experience. Service was spot-on: quick, attentive, and with that genuine warmth that makes you want to linger. Prices are fair (especially with their roll deals), portions are generous, and we left stuffed, smiling, and already plotting our next visit. If you're in Ogden craving sushi that wows, skip the chains and head straight to So Delicious Japanese Wasabi. My wife and I found our new favorite spot--trust me, you will too. Arigato and see you soon! #SushiHeaven #OgdenEats #ThunderRollMagic
