Nice folks, quick service, but mediocre food. I came here because they were on the aa dining program and the reviews were pretty good. I had ordered the Spicy Chicken El Diablo and a slice of pizza. The El Diablo was good but a bit disappointing in the fact that there was NO spice. It may have been for the better as I was running a Marathon the next day, but why call it "spicy?" I wanted some heat! I had also ordered a slice of cheese, which was really 2 slices. I feel like you can tell the quality of a Pizza place by the quality of a single slice of cheese. It was Good, but nothing outrageous. It could have been a bit more crispy with more seasoning. The service was very kind and fast. I would say that this is a solid 3.5 stars, but due to the good service, quick speed, AA dining miles, i'll round up to 4. This is my first yelp review. I usually post my reviews on Google, where I'll likely copy and paste this. Some history. I have had this pizza (or rather, pizza from this location) a handful of times over the past 25 years - remembering it as being just OK. It's not that the pizza was bad, simply that there was nothing remarkable about it that left me craving the food later on My daughter and I went to the Camarillo Beer March in...wait for it...March. All the local businesses in the old town vicinity had something special or promotional going on. It appeared, at least to me, that the event turnout being fairly successful. Tony's Pizza Bros. was one of the featured stops in the march where a local brewery had posted up to offer tastings of their ale. As an unexpected bonus, Tony's offered various samplings of items from their menu. The garlic knots were fantastic, while every few minutes a fresh pizza was brought out and they invited people to enjoy a free slice (or 3). Of note, I recall their margherita pizza ad being exceptionally tasty. Now, I rarely order out, because I really enjoy cooking and also have tons of food in stock to cook. However, torment me with a hot and humid September Sunday, and any former appeal that cooking once held abandons me loins toute suite. So I think of Tony's Pizza Bros. They are within walking distance from me, and I'd rather walk in the humidity than cook in it. I could've driven but why? I placed my order on the website where I order a slice. The additional toppings are a little confusing to me, because they offer margherita and "meat lovers" each as individual toppings. I figured let's try it and see what happens. The $4.95 slice became a $6.95 slice if topped with what I'd hoped by deploying my "loophole" discovery, then it will have been well worth it. I also ordered a pastrami sandwich. The grand total, tip included, came in at a whopping $24 and change. Ending my short walk, I enter the establishment. Looked to be two employees on duty who greeted me with warm smiles followed by very friendly service. My order was fresh and ready to go at the time promised. But wait!!! As I was turning to leave, the gentleman behind the counter stops me then places another pizza box on the counter. He said that someone had not picked up their order, then inquiring if I'd be interested in a taking a couple of more slices. Wherewithal providing me strength and courage to hold out for much longer than most, alas, it is fact that everyone cracks eventually. Especially after subjections to gentle water boardings - immediately followed by a round of heavy petting. Nearly unable to find my voice, I gasp out a feeble, "sure I'll take it, thanks!" If you've made it this far, you'll find this story's fairytale ending uncovered through a deep dive within the blatant composition and nuance of my stellar photography. Keep in mind that I ordered only one sandwich. I will definitely be going back, because lots of food and big portions are nice, but if the food sucks, then what you ate left with is lots of food and big portions of sucky food. It's my first time going out with my boys since I gave birth to my youngest son, and I'm so glad we came here! We were welcomed by a young man who was so nice. I got the pizza slice lunch special which comes with a salad and drink, another slice of pizza, and the tiramisu. The slices were huge and they tasted great! The tiramisu was delicious too. The staff was so nice and helpful. They were so sweet with my son, and I truly appreciate it. I have no idea what happened, yesterday I placed this order (see below) and my comments after each item. Check # 6 for Ramsey Farag - 1 - The Combo (supreme) $25.90 (it was okay, not the same dough I'm used to) 1 - Wings $32.00 (dry hard meat no one could eat it, got thrown away, never had wings this bad in my life) 2 - Caprese Salad $20.00 (not bad) 1 - Hawaiian Pizza $20.90 ( it was ok) 1 - Bruschetta Pizza $24.90 ( not what I was expecting, never order) 5 - Marinara $3.00 (ok) 2 - Garlic Knots $12.00 (good) - Tax $10.04 Total $175.04 This was not a cheap meal, and most of it went into the trash... and that's not right. I used to love Tony's, so it hurts to leave this review. But the last three times I've ordered, I've been disappointed. At first it was something little and sort of understandable, like a missing tiramisu or a lackluster twelve dollar salad. But the pizza itself is also not as good anymore. The last one I ordered smelled putrid. It stank my kitchen up something awful and I was afraid to serve it. Teenagers will eat pizza if it came from a dumpster so it was consumed and no one died, but I can't get over why any pizza wouldn't smell delicious. Wonderful! Today was my first time there & I got the lunch special... delicious & 2 HUGE pizza slices! And just because it's a special doesn't mean they skimp on quality or portion. You choose any 2 toppings, I got ham & pineapple. Opted for the Caesar salad & it was delish. Staff very friendly & literally serve w/ a smile. We ate in @ one of the booths. I stopped by this place on a rainy day. Pizza is always good for rainy days. Welp, except this one. I got here just before the lunch hour rush. I ordered a lunch option. Two slices, a small salad, and a can of soda. The small salad was... ok. The slices of pizza. Welp, not so good. I've never felt so bored eating pizza. The sauce was weak, and the toppings had no taste. The dough was bland. I understand it's a special dough they use for their pies, but wow this was dull. That being said, customer service was good. The man working the register was friendly. Reading other reviews, I'm not sure what people are tasting here. I'm afraid to go back and try a pasta option. Luis & Fernando have the BEST customer service and made everything so easy. We had a staff fun day scheduled in the park and I called to see what my options were in terms of delivery to the park. Luis said "sure, we can do that!" and even though they don't officially open til 11 am made the arrangements to deliver to the park by 10:45 am (staff was arriving at 11 am). Sure enough, at 10:45 am there was Fernando with the pizzas! And the pizzas were really good! I loved the crust especially. We got their jumbo special (which technically is a carry out but they were so nice to add it to the delivery order), 2 cheese & a veggie Detroit. All delicious but their Detroit might be their specialty. Thick, cheesy and the way the veggies were cooked made this pizza superb. I can't wait to try with added sausage. Yum! It was our first time visiting Tony's Pizza Bro. My family and I highly recommend the food and excellent customer service . The food is amazingly delicious, freshly prepared with details to every ingredient. This is now our FAVORITE restaurant. The Caprese salad was absolutely delightful I could taste the fresh olive oil, tasty balsamic vinegar and garnish with delicate parmesan cheese. We had half/half wings - buffalo sauce and mango habanero- I cannot explain all the amazingly new flavors we tasted, but is finger licking good. We had the garlic parmesan knot's and oh my my God we could not have enough of them-fresh ingredients and out of the oven. Lastly, we had half/half Mexican/bruschetta pizza and hands down the flavors are out of this world. The entire staff, Luis, and his brother are examples above and beyond family business!!! read more

The pasta was bland The knots tasted like they where old . We ordered a side of pizza fries. The concept was really cool but the execution was poor . I called and was on hold for 22 minutes . When I called to ask about salad dressing and was told yeah it comes on the salad and then was hung up on . There are plenty of pizza places in town . We ordered a large pizza for like $30 and it was so underbaked that it completely fell apart when we tried to pick it up. With every slice you couldn't take a bite without it basically disintegrating. We also got stuffed crust and there was no cheese in the crust at all.
