One of my all time favorite pizza places, which is hard on Long Island where pizza is great to begin with! They have a shrimp slice I'm obsessed with, and a cheeseburger slice I was addicted to before I started trying to be more health conscious lol. I've been going to Tony's pizza for years. I used to go to La Margherita pizza (same family) but this location is closer for me now. Every single pizza I ever received is PERFECT. I don't know what he does over there, but that sauce is to die for. You have to try it. It's the bruschetta slice that does it for me here. It's literally the best I've had! If they throw some breaded chicken cutlets in there it would be the perfect chicken Milanese slice. The bruschetta is just amazing on it. The pizza in general is pretty good here. The guys that work here are also super nice. Can't go wrong with this classic pizzeria. Stopped in for lunch, as we were driving by. Appeared clean, but in need of an update. Around 2:30 on a Monday, it was fairly busy. Friendly counter staff. Decent amount of pizza options at the counter. My husband got a regular slice and a veal parmagiana hero. He enjoyed the slice with a nice crunch to the crust and not at all greasy. He also liked the Veal parmagiana hero, perfectly well done as he enjoys it. As I tasted the Veal, it was chopped into little bites, a generous portion, and flavorful. I had the deep dish regular slice. Again, it was not greasy at all, and the cheese pull was incredible. I bit into a nice, soft layer, and then the crispy crunch of the crust. I also tried a mozzarella stuffed garlic knot. Again, great cheese pull. The garlic was powder dusted on top and was a little burnt tasting, but still a solid knot. Highly recommend! I have this place 5 stars, but let me explain why, I'm originally from NY but my 15 year old daughter isn't, we live in Florida now. She's heard me talk so much about NY pizza that I wanted to take her out to get good, greasy, NY pizza. We'll Tony's didn't disappoint in the taste at all, they let me down a bit in the grease department, , but the service was excellent and the pizza was damn good! My daughter enjoyed and raved about how much better the pizza is up there than back home, all I wanted from the experience. So I definitely recommend. Tonys is family run old-school pizza. A wide variety of food is available. It's hard to choose when at the counter. My advice is to stop off and try them all. The staff is friendly. I have seen the same faces forever. I've been going there since the late 80's highly advise trying the barbecue slice if that's your thing. Delicious and like no other. Upon arrival you notice a giant sign that says "Tony's" a great way to let people know where the pizza is! When you get on the property you can smell the dough, and delicious sauce. My colleague is a huge fan of barbecue chicken pizza and told me I had to try it...so I did. At first I was a bit skeptical, but after my first bite my mouth was filled with sweet, salty and a hot combination of chicken and pizza. It was indeed a fantastic slice of pizza. Although there was one small issue...the crust. It was in my colleagues words "a medium level crust". If you're a crust type of person please advise. Otherwise it was great. Yes, this place has been around for awhile. No, the quality is no longer good. The Grandma pizza is terrible, raw dough, had to throw it away. The specialty pizzas with add-ons were also just blah. I was at Tony's Pizza last month when I flew up to Long Island to visit my dad. I remember the old Tony's Pizza that was next-door, are used to go there as a kid when pizza and a canna Coke was $.90. Things have changed but the pizza seems to be still popular as they're still in business and it's my father's favorite pizza joint in Medford. There's nothing like New York pizza. read more

Another 3-star, A-OK, pizza place. Slices here are generally pretty good, although I think they're smaller than the slices at nearby joints. There's always beer in the soda cooler, a sports game on the LCD TV, and the guy behind the counter is always so freakin friendly. This pizza was delicious. Super thin crust just the way it should be!! Although we ordered from door dash and the cheese was on one side, it didn't effect the taste of how yummy it was. Actually really sad to leave this review. Grew up in the area and just moved back. I used to love getting pizza here and the staff is very nice. Unfortunately whoever was working tonight gave my fiancé and I burnt food. I was actually just in a car accident before on route 112 and we thought it would be easier to get take out from this place. I live in the area and Tonys has been our go to pizza spot. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Always willing to make a fresh daily item even after they have sold out for the day. Not from in town and just wanted some pizza for dinner so decided on Tony's pizza. I'm extremely happy with the how it was, great pizza, great service, and super happy crowd filling the small restaurant. The experience felt just as homey as being in my own house as the restaurant had gameshows on the TV with everyone playing along. Everyone that entered knew the guys behind the counter and all of them had personal conversations with the main cashier that felt so casual and comfortable. We recently ordered pickup from Tony's and I am seriously disappointed. We ordered one white pie and one pepperoni, when we went and picked it up they have us the wrong order. When we got home and realized the error we called and the girl on the phone was rude and told us if we wanted a new pizza we would have to return the wrong pizza and pick up a new one. But we would have to wait 20 minutes for them to make a new one. We did that and when we went to pick up they new one they were short with us and even charged us extra to get a speciality pie. I asked to speak with a manager and they told me nobody was there and I would have to call back a different day. By the time the pizza swap was over I had one white pizza I overpaid for and one cold pepperoni pizza (took an hour total to get things sorted out). The actual pizza is okay, nothing amazing, but this place is closest to my house. Fortunately there are 10 other pizza places on 112 and I will definitely be making the switch. It's a shame that some rude and inexperienced employees are going to cost Tony his customers. read more

My wife and I have been using Tony's Pizza for years now for all of our family parties. The food is excellent, portions are plentiful, the price is right and the quality is great. Luigi is so accommodating and helps me create a great menu every time. He even created simple catering packages that help me easily order based on my party size. This place has really gone downhill. We have been ordering delivery from Tony's since my fiance and I moved into the area three years ago and up until recently had really enjoyed it. However, the last 4 times have changed that. Each time we ordered a side of sauce with our dozen garlic knots they've charged us for it and forgotten it. Even though I was a little mortified by doing it (I'm not much of a complainer but garlic knots without sauce are useless to me) I actually brought it up before hand saying, "Hey, no worries or anything but please remember the sauce, the last three times we've ordered it you guys forgot it." The person taking my order laughed a little said he was sorry and then added, as if he were noting it on the order "Remember the sauce." They forgot the sauce. To be fair, I called and complained and they did offer me a free dozen knots next time but I informed them that there wouldn't be a next time. It's a shame what's happened to this place. Good thing there's at least a dozen other pizza places on or around 112. I would suggest you go there. Even their far superior sister store La Mahgarita just a few miles away. read more
