This is a 5 star for the service Jody was her name. She had to be the most happiest and pleasant waitress I have had in a long long time. Came here for lunch to go some place different. The food was as we ordered and was good. But again Jody was very pleasant! Thank you Jody

The restaurant was clean enough and the food was fine, but I was pretty upset to discover that the promotion that brought me in (Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays) was not honored here. It's literally on their kid's menu. Poor form, Denny's.

I was leery about coming to Denny's because at the one near me, I have been disappointed time and again. I had never been to this location, so I decided to give it a try. I walked in and was greeted ant sat right away. The waitress, Angeline, came to the table quickly and took my order. The food came out fast. I ordered the breakfast skillet which came out so piping hot I had to wait to eat it. It had broccoli, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, spinach, green peppers, tomatoes, scrambled egg white and a side of salsa. It was quite good. The waitress was friendly, kept checking on me, kept the coffee filled. I wish more servers had her good attitude.

Inever thought I would give a Denny's a 4 star review. But I have to give credit where credit is due. First of all, they were the only restaurant open on Christmas day in my area. The parking lot was full, and even the neighboring closed business lots had cars that I assume came here as well (we parked at the bank next door). I was prepared to wait for a long while, but miracle, of miracles. We got seated right away. All the people waiting were large parties, so our measly 4 people party got a table right away. Our waitress was very nice and as attentive as she could given how busy they were. Food was supeincingly good. In fact our dishes looked pretty much like the pictures on the menu. I ordered a custom omelette made with egg whites, and it did feel a little greasy. Other than that though. I was good. As busy as it was, our waitress kept us refilled. It was a surprisingly good experience.

The food is really good. I had a burger and my spouse had a salad. We also shared some apps. Their food is elevated American. I was looking forward to their carrots, but those are no longer on the menu. Server was sweet and on top of everything even though it was busy busy busy. Parking is a bit tight and no valet, so be prepared to walk a little and I would recommend a smaller vehicle. It is in the same area as a publix and preschool.

The space was exactly what we were looking for. It was private, beautiful, and perfect for networking and conversation. From the very beginning, Nicole, the Group Sales Director, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind, responsive, and patient with the many questions we had while planning our event. She made the entire booking process seamless and stress-free. We preordered shareables for our guests, and everything came out perfectly. What really stood out was the staff's attention to detail. They even asked if we'd like to keep some of the food under the warming lamps until more guests arrived before bringing it out. That level of thoughtfulness truly went above and beyond. Our server, Phillip, was fantastic as well. He managed all of our guests' individual orders on his own while remaining friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the event. We arrived early to decorate, and the team couldn't have been more accommodating. They provided us with a speaker so we could play music and even came to the rescue by lending us markers and tape after we realized we had forgotten ours. Those small gestures made a big difference. And now, the food... Absolutely incredible! The vodka margherita flatbread was, without a doubt, one of the best flatbreads I've ever had. It was SO good. The spinach dip was equally delicious, and every dish we ordered received compliments from our guests. The cocktails were just as impressive and perfectly complemented the meal. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our event couldn't have gone more smoothly. I'm already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu because if what we had is any indication, it's going to be another fantastic experience. A huge thank you to Nicole and the entire Dear Olivia team for making our event such a success. I highly recommend Dear Olivia Bar & Kitchen, whether you're planning a private gathering or simply looking for a great meal and drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Bonefish Mac's Nachos -- "The Self-Defeating Nacho"…read more I only review nachos. Nothing else on the menu, nothing about the room. One plate, one standard. And Bonefish Mac's built a good one, then sabotaged it in ways they could fix tomorrow if they wanted to. Let's start with what went right, because there's a lot. The flavor was genuinely great. The pico was the most generous application I'd seen in this whole series, actual fresh punch, not a decorative sprinkle. The portion was enormous. The structure was there: this was a real nacho, loaded throughout, not just a pile with a good-looking top layer. Now the problems, in ascending order of frustration. The cheese wasn't fully melted. Shredded cheese, dumped on, never taken all the way. Cold shredded cheese on a chip is just cheese on a chip. That's not a nacho, that's an accident, and it's a fundamental miss. The beans. I don't think beans belong on nachos -- ever -- and this plate is Exhibit A. It was a bean orgy. They seemed to be reproducing on the plate in real time: I'd eat them and somehow there were more. If you're loading a nacho with beans, you're not building flavor, you're building volume. Just making the plate look bigger. And the real villain: the tin. They served a well-structured, generously loaded nacho in a metal tin on an air-conditioned bar top. A metal tin is a heat sink. It doesn't hold temperature -- it steals it. They built a good nacho and then placed it in the one vessel scientifically designed to make it cold as fast as possible. A ceramic plate holds heat. A skillet holds heat. This was a nacho refrigerator. They defeated themselves with their own equipment. The Fork Rule got violated, but honestly this is the rare case where the fork wasn't a failure -- the plate was loaded enough that a fork and a side plate was a legitimate strategy, not a white flag. Credit for that distinction. Verdict: 8/10 -- The Self-Defeating Nacho. The flavor and the build are genuinely there. The unmelted cheese and the beans are easy fixes. The tin is a choice -- and like a couple other spots around here, I suspect they've committed to the decorative vessel and won't change it. That's a shame, because there's a real nacho under there fighting to stay warm. Order it. Just eat fast, before the tin wins. Full review at floridanachoman.substack.com

This week, they downsized them to the size of the mozzarella sticks you get from Burger King, yet still charge over $10 for them. First off, parking was difficult because this establishment is near other highly frequented businesses. Once inside, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who immediately sat us at a table for two. The interior is small and intimate, which also meant very loud once it got crowded. After being seated, our water cups were quickly filled, and someone inquired if we wanted drinks. After we were approached twice, still unsure of what we wanted, we were then neglected for at least ten minutes. Our appetizers arrived and still no one had come to get our entree order. The menu is fairly small, and the items are quite pricey. You know what else was small? The drinks! For $18 I want to hold a drink that fills my hand. Was it good, yeah; but it wasn't life changing. We ordered some scrumptious rosemary focaccia and lemon garlic olives to start; my husband chose the Korean Fried Chicken and I opted for the pappardelle bolognese for our main course. Both dishes were tasty, but I don't think either one was reasonably priced at $34. We opted to skip dessert after watching everyone around us receive their meals before us; and only at this time did our waiter seem to become more attentive. Overall, food is great, but overpriced; service was fair - but for over $100 for two entrees, appetizer and one drink, we won't be back.
