They didn't avoid questions and knew the products they were selling in the store. Their display outside is what caught my eye. I was nearby enjoying a National Historical Site, and saw the Go Karts as I drove by. I thought "So much fun." What a great place to have in the community . They have protective wear to use your Toys responsibly, and they have a Tool Department and Repair department as well. I did not make a purchase. But I do believe if I asked them , the performance and repair questions, they would have been helpful. They took pride in their store and their work. That's awesome. Very unique find! Staff are friendly but not reliable. Bad at getting back to customers for parts or even to order parts. Don't waste your time or money here. Everything cheep unless they buy off ppl to resell them everything else isn't worth it. When parts break don't expect them to get replacement parts for you. I bought a brand new dirt bike from this place. The products they sell are garbage and unreliable. The screws vibrate out of their products and their advice is to tighten every screw on your dirt bike after you ride it. They did fix some of it for free but it ended right back at the shop after the next ride, the bolts securing the motor vibrated out then broke the weld. I now have to go to small claims court for my money back. You are betting off buying a used dirt bike off Facebook than what they sell. read more

This place is complete garbage bought a 4 wheeler and it broke down the same day I paid 1,200 for it, called them and they said to buy a new battery and I did it worked for around one more hour and then it did not want to start again took it to the mechanic and they said that I need a whole bunch of new stuff because what they sold me is completely garbage! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SHOP. TOTAL SCAM. I purchased a 4 wheeler for my son 1 year ago. It wouldn't start so I brought it in and they charged me 296.00, one of the fee was for gas and it was empty. I told them if I was getting charged at least fill the gas, they said we charge that no matter what. After having the 4 wheeler back it stopped working again. I told them they would have to pick it up because I was 35 min away and they wanted to charge me again for pick up. They don't work with you, and there attitude is pretty much you bought it, your stuck with it. Never again!!!!! read more

I bought a tao Tao pit bike from them thinking it'd be a fun little bike. After 2-3 weeks I began to notice some issues, it would bog out after running for a little bit, then I noticed a engine bolt was missing, like how do you forget to put that on, then I thought it was just a accident until my front brake fell off, they stripped the bolt while putting itt on and it fell off when I was riding. After that things started to go down, not even a month of ownership! May I add I don't ride it a lot maybe 2-3 times a week. Then last but no lease my muffler had 1 bolt holding it on. After that i was very upset. I wouldn't trust them fixing my bike. And if I buy a new one I'd have to inspect it. read more

I recently purchased a 50cc scooter that was still in it's crate, I ask the sales person brand new? "yes, we sell these like hot cakes, can't keep on the floor". Ok then, I'll buy it. My receipt shows a 2014 scooter, at 2015 prices. Ok, I was born yesterday. To summarized the reason I rate it a star: l had to return the scooter because it was not put together safety,loose parts, a quarter filled gas tank "wtf", they gave me a trunk that does not fit the scooter and I am still trying to figure out how to put in on or trade it. Right from the start lots of inconveniences for a new customer. This place is run by men and lousy customer service skills. I do not recommend this place aka tool store go kart shop. Bought a nice shiny brand new icebear scooter. 26 total miles on it. Drove it maybe 2 weeks and it broke down. Leaking fuel. Front wheel locks and over heats at just 5 min in to the ride. Chinese scooter sold by a dealer with absolutely no honor or integrity whatsoever. No refunds. Charge to fix something that should be covered under warranty. A very expensive lesson I learned here. Went to buy a motorcycle they advertised on their website. The bike photo looked awesome, clean, perfect on the website. Adam, the sales guy assured me in 3 different calls that the bike was perfect, just like the photo! and had clean title. When I got there (6 hour drive, which I also shared with them)! I found the bike that looked similar, but different year then advertised, had it's electrical system vandalized, it was missing front fender and many parts, and side covers, the bike was heavily oxidized all over, and had multiple paint chips all over, chain and sprockets rolled and shot. Sales assured me this was the first time this sort of thing happened. I caught them in lies from start to finish. They never produced the title either. Complete fabrication! I was baited to drive 12 hours round trip today. Very frustrating that these people have no moral compass. Bad con artists. read more

I can only speak to the service department and my personal experience, which was horrible. I brought in my scooter-based three wheeler. The owner and manager assured me diagnosing a starting problem would not be an issue. When I didn't hear from them after 10 days, I called them. The person I spoke to couldn't find my service order nor did he know anything about the location of my vehicle. He stated that he would get back to me. He didn't follow up as he stated he would. When I called back 24 hours later another person told me it was on the bench and almost done. I was a bit taken back as they were to call me to approve any repairs prior to doing them. I was lied to. The vehicle was not being worked on. A day later I spoke to David who told me he was the service manager and he would personally work on my vehicle. Long story short, he told me that the would need to remove the entire body to diagnose the starting problem and that would cost me $500 just to get to the point where he could troubleshoot the starting issue. Knowing this vehicle very well, I explained to him that he only needed to remove a side panel to access the starter. After speaking with David for a short time it was evident that he didn't want to deal with the starting issue. I asked if he could replace the brakes, he came up with more excuses. Frustrated, I picked up the vehicle. The manger asked how things went. When I brought this situation to his attention he just walked away. They got me for $150. I removed the panel myself, unbolted the starter and within 20 minutes determined that the starter motor was faulty. The guys at the Tool Store are suppose to be professionals that we can rely on to fairly help us when we need help. Simply put, they let me down, big time!
