My husband and both our boys recently got a haircut here; we just moved to the area. Not only did they do a great job, but the prices are fantastic! They gave us a family discount on top of the already low prices. Our toddler absolutely hates haircuts and used to scream the whole time. Here, he loved the toys in the waiting area and the movie playing at his station. He still didn't love getting his haircut but he cried less than usual. Everyone is always very nice and accommodating (my son used to hate getting his haircut and still isn't a huge fan, but they take their time to make him as comfortable as possible). If you have boys then you should try this place. They have a dvd in front of every chair. Playstation (might be xbox, Im not sure) while the kids wait. Also, play area for the much younger kids, and a lollipop on the way out the door. They are methodical, hardworking, and get you out the door. I have been coming here for a few years. At first, my youngest son was afraid of the barber, but not after coming to this place. I've even had my haircut here a few times. My boys and I usually leave here feeling like "handsome Jacks". Took my son for his first hair cut.. Went here from reading yelp reviews. I don't know how it got as good of review as it says. Maybe i just got a bad hair stylist(Isabel). She cut his hair so fast literally just looked like she was grabbing hair and cutting without even trying to take any time. His hair now looks super choppy and completely uneven. Although some reviews may be negative you can't always please a customer. It was Kid friendly. A parent can be the hardest critic in my opinion when it comes to our children. With that being being said I found to be impressed with the lady of the shops technique and quickness. For my 2 1/2 yr. old who is frightened by just the sound of a Blow dryer we were expecting the worse. Our girl did great they even brought out the evil blow dryer at the end and it didn't even phase her. No kicking or screaming. Again, her first time! A little bit of wait but was worth it. The wait to get a hair cut for my son was not long at all.. I explain what I wanted to the barber and she responded that it was ok and it was no problem.. tell me why I had to tell the barber to fix my sons hair when she was ready to get him off the chair and the hair cut was not good at all... it's very upsetting to know that we have people that have a job and cannot do it right... waist of my money but even more that my sons hair is jacked up. Only gets the two Star because of all of toys they have for the children in the waiting area and it's set up. I'm only expecitng a decent haircut when I take my 1 1/2 year old son, because I know he's very difficult and completely hates haircuts. I would still expect them to know what there donig if there Marketing themselves as a kids barber. My son's haicut was Far from decent! Patches of hair left on the sides and not to mention his neck was left with long strainds of hair! I've honestly could of done a better job and it completely looks like his hair was done by someone at home! I feel like it was definitely a waste of money! Just a BAD haircut! If your son is at the age where he doesn't fight the barber then you might be ok. I'm going back to the barbershop off Clinton Keith off the 215 fwy in the same shopping center of CVS I believe it is. First time bringing my 2 year old son to get his haircut done professionally. My son loved the train table and when the time came for his haircut he was not too happy to leave it. Isabella let him bring some of the trains with us but he was so upset because he really wanted to play with the whole set. Isabella talked to him the whole time and was very quick so he could go play. His haircut looked awesome. Way, way better than the clipper cuts his father and I were doing. Just took my 3 year old daughter in for a haircut. This place is very unprofessional!! It was 85 degrees outside and they had no a/c on and the place was filthy! The young guy was sleeping in a chair and their was a lady and Grandpa in the back. Three more people came in and wanted haircuts and Grandpa could not even see to read his name let alone cut this kids hair! Don't ever go to this place If you are looking for a professional haircut! Like someone had said earlier if I could give zero stars I would. My daughter has naturally curly hair and licensed Cosmo knows that with curly hair it requires a certain way of cutting it. Well let's just say my daughter now looks like a boy. There were VERY specific instructions to cut no more then an inch and leave the bangs for the side bang look. We My (think that's how it's spelled) didn't take the time to ask the right questions and took it upon herself to cut her hair the way she wanted and took 3 inches off!!!!!! Are you kidding me? I said no more then an inch and if you didnt understand that nor have experience cutting curly hair then maybe you need to go back to school. Now my beautiful long haired daughter has hair up to her ears and looks like a boy. She hasn't stopped crying since we've gotten home!!!!!!!!! read more
