Office Experience was horrible. They would not help with my cavities. They were only interested in treating my whole mouth with All-on-4s. I am in pain and they were only interested in doing procedures that are expensive. I at least wanted to stop my teeth from hurting. I was told they would email me my xray. That was about a month ago. I keep calling and every week the representative says she sent it. Then today she confirmed that they spelled my name wrong in my email, but she would send the email in a fee minutes. I called back half an hour later and she said she was busy. Then the manager calls me. She was unapologetic and rude! She said she would get to it when she has time. This is the most superficial place you could find. I still never got my xray emailed. Horrible staff. read more

I have waited three years to write this review. I went into Tooth for some work that needed to be done. I was greeted well. The medical assistant was very friendly, the dentist was Dr. J. He seemed very nice, he examined my teeth and told me that I needed a root canal. I was scheduled for the following week. I arrived 15 minutes early and the office staff was ready for my root canal. Once my root canal was placed I couldn't close my mouth because the dentist had ordered the wrong size crown. He started cutting the crown to make it fit. After a while the dentist cracked the crown and I was called to the front. The receptionist told me if I wanted to get the procedure done. I would have to pay out of pocket as the crown had cracked and it was my responsibility. I was left with zero choice but to oblige. Recent I went for a follow up and I found out due to abnormal cutting of my second crown it was perforated. The billing clerk told me that since I had already received my tooth crown(less then 5 years) I might have to pay out of pocket. After some digging around she realized that the billers at Tooth had charged my dental insurance for the wrong crown and I qualified for a new crown. read more

After my childhood dentist retired, I made an appointment with this office to establish care and deal with an intermittent pain I was experiencing. My visit consisted of the hygienist taking an X-ray of only the tooth I was having pain with and a 5 minute exam with Dr. Baydal- his exam was squeezing the gums and placing an instrument on the tooth and tapping it with another instrument to see if I was in pain....nothing he did caused pain, yet he determined I needed a root canal and a crown. When I asked how soon I should act on it, he asked if I liked pain and suggested I moved quickly because the roof of my tooth would decay and abscess. This would have cost me $2,700. Luckily I trusted my instincts and went to another local dentist who's exam included a full mouth X-ray and exam. They determined that pain I was dealing with was caused by an old filling that was detaching - this replacement cost me $85 and I have been pain free ever since. Frankly, I think Dr. Baydal is into pain- the pain and suffering of his patients for his own financial gain. I would stay far, far away from this office. read more

We switched to this Office recently. What a breath of fresh air! First of all, if you're lucky enough to get Rosa on the phone, she's is great! We had some issues that needed to be cleared with the insurance, and she took care of that before my daughter went in for her first appointment. She lives out of town, and they were great working with her to get all her procedures done. She has a new crown that now fits perfectly! No more pain or pieces falling out. They squeezed me in as a first time patient when I chipped one of my front teeth, and Dr. Badyal was able to fix it quickly. My previous dentist said I had to get that tooth crowned because of the damage. I have now also gone In for a routine cleaning and must say that the dental hygienist, Maria, is a pleasure! She explained everything to me and gave me some great recommendations. She even got through to my son who has been "hesitant" (to say the least) to go to the dentist because of past experiences. The office is super clean and easy to get to. We drive about 35 minutes on the freeway. There is plenty of parking, and so far we've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get started with our appointment. If you're hesitant or scared to go to the dentist, I can only recommend this office and it's fabulous staff! read more

Came as a new patient and got lost on my first visit. The office is located in a maze of parking lots with clusters of dental offices. Once I entered the correct facilities I was impressed by the cleanliness. Staff was nice. I enjoyed the TVs in the ops. Cindy was hilarious, she had Ice Cubes " Are we there yet" Channel playing. I had recently been to the office of Dr.Badyal for a check up and cleaning. I was greeted at the front desk by the nicest and most professional lady by the name of Roza. She was extremely helpful in getting me seated and all the papers filled out. Within a couple minutes of being seated, I was already called in for the work to begin. The hygienist, Miray, was very nice and did a fantastic job. I have sensitive teeth and I still didn't feel a THING. They have all the newest technology and had the xrays done within minutes. The chair that the procedures are done even have a massage feature !!!! Once all the cleaning and xrays were complete, I then got the pleasure to meet Dr Badyal. He was simply the best and most professional dentist I have ever met. He gave me the best advice on what to do next with my teeth. I then reschedule for a follow up apportionment to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was in and out within 30 mins. This was simply the best dental experience of my life. Today was my first time at Tooth and I have nothing but great things to say. First off, I have to say the decor is simple yet very appealing. When I arrived I was greeted by two very friendly ladies who greeted me by name. Shortly after once of the ladies showed me to the room where I'd be. She introduced herself and let me know she was a hygenist who'd be working with me today. We went through the whole routine of taking my x-rays and then shortly after we started the cleaning process. I have to say I've never been to a dental office where they took x-rays with a wireless machine, which I thought was pretty cool. Before we got started though, she let me know that the chair I was sitting in was actually a massage chair and the remote was on the side. I contained my excitement but I was like "okay...that's pretty cool." Lol Additionally, at the end, my hygenist provided me with a hot towel. Again, I contained my excitement and was like "whaaaaaaat.. this place just keeps getting better!" Anyways, the whole experience was great right when I stepped through the doors. They continued to impress me through the whole time I was there. I'm glad I chose this place. I was calling around for an immediate appointment. I don't have a regular dentist but needed an evaluation right away. Dr. Badyal fit me in right away. Took a look and said it was simply cold sensitivity and not a cavity or anything else. He was right and I was out like that. Great staff. Great service and most importantly fair. Everyone at Sunny Bodyal's Office is extremely friendly, helpful, and professional! Every time I come to their office I feel like I'm visiting long time friends :-). That includes the front desk, hygienist, and the dentists. I never feel rushed or that I'm just another patient. They take their time to give me their best service. I have permanent retainers which can be tricky to clean around and I've had some past hygienists knock them loose but Eliana is always extremely careful when working around them, yet also very diligent in getting it clean around those areas. First impressions are not everything. This office looks clean, looks fancy, but in reality they do shoddy work!. If you have any crown work done, root canal work, or any major dental work outside of your everyday cleaning, or fillings, they make you sign a paper before they complete the work to state that you're satisfied with the crowns before they've even put them in your mouth. They don't even do permanent crowns properly!. They do a temporary filling Blue by the way which is not supposed to be done. Then when you go back for a permanent filling they're supposed to change the temporary filling to a permanent filling in my case in which they did not even do that. My crowns were the size of miniature footballs in my mouth, I was not happy with them at all they were giant teeth compared to all of my normal teeth in comparison. They're outside Labs that create their crowns are worthless, horrible work! Their staff outside of maybe two of the doctors are under trained and uneducated in the work that they're supposed to be doing as Dental hygienists, or front staff. They overcharged and under deliver for all of their services there! I personally will be telling my insurance not to keep them as a company! I told them that I had two bad teeth and when I went in they told me nothing of the teeth that I had wrong but told me two other teeth. Then proceeded to say I would need multiple feelings, and multiple crowns. Recently this week, I had to drive all the way to Oregon to get my tooth that they forgot to fix a root canal from professionals! In addition to that they had to fix at least one of the two crowns that they put in because they couldn't even fit a normal crown on the tooth because the one they did tooth by sunny, was too large. Again I highly encourage you not to attend this dentist unless it's for your basic teeth cleaning and yearly check up. They say they do it all but they are not skilled to do it all find a professional! read more

Found this place through Instagram actually. I've been seeing the same dentist/ortho in San Jose ever since I was a kid. Even when I was living in Davis and after that, when I moved to Sacramento, I was still going to SJ for my appointments. I've been planning to get some ortho work done again and I want an ortho/dentist that's close by. I decided to give Dr. Badyal's office a try. Although I've only been here once, here are the reasons why I give them five stars: 1) You get a reminder text of your appointments. 2) Staff is really friendly and answers any questions you have. 3) The office is hella flush. Lol 4) Dr. Badyal is realistic with you. He asks what you want to achieve, discusses the reality of your goals, provides clear reasoning, and ultimately puts the choice in your hands. I'm glad that I have found a new dentist/orthodontist that's closer to me and is very transparent. Thanks again and I'll be back! I have a dentist phobia called a "white coat syndrome " fueled by many mishaps at different dentists . I have been poked , probed and "tortured " before , so trust me on this ...All the positive 5 star reviews are spot on . Dr .Badyal cured my phobia. He is one of the most gentle , careful , funny , friendly dentist I have seen and really , really good at what he does . He treats you like you are an old buddy , makes you feel real comfortable in a way that you cannot even feel the poke and needle pain from anesthesia that we all fear ,he is that good . Found Dr .Badyal office few months ago . Called in for a second opinion , they took me in and took care of me, wrote and explained to detailed second opinion treatment plans . Had several crowns replaced which they fit perfectly ,look great , sit perfect at gum line with a no adjustments needed .Staff is really great from front desk to the dentist chair, they take away unrestful feel that you get when in a dentist office and that is a breath of fresh air .
