I found this company through great reviews on Yelp, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately I have had really bad experiences with this company, and feel an obligation to weigh in. I do not take "reviewing" lightly, and only hope the team here can take this as constructive criticism to help their company survive in a competitive field that is highly reliant on customer service and execution. We have enlisted the company on three occasions: On our 1st trip, we were traveling from our home to the airport early in the morning. This was our first trip with our 2 month old son - and a stroller, car seat and lots of luggage! We experienced great service on this first leg - good price; great driver who was personable, gracious and early; great vehicle; easy billing. On our return from this trip - our driver never picked us up from the airport. Granted our flight was delayed, but when we called dispatch to find out where our ride was - we were told it was pulling around... on three occasions over 45 minutes. Turns out the driver was long gone and we didn't have a ride. Left at the airport after 9 p.m. with a 2 month old, stroller, carseat, 3 bags. Obviously not helpful. To make up for this, Ryan offered us a complimentary ride for our next trip. This was nice, but we were still charged $60 for the trip that didn't happen. It took 3 emails, phone calls and 3 weeks to get the charge reversed. It almost felt like he was assuming I would forget about it, and could get away with the charge. This weekend we scheduled a limo to take a large group to / from an event in Lake Forest. We received a call a few hours before our pick up time that our limo was in an accident that afternoon and they had no way to get us to LF (I hope the driver and passengers were ok). Tony said he called around all afternoon to find an alternative, but with wedding season and the Blackhawks game nothing was available. He continued to try to solve the problem for us - but we ultimately ended up without transportation. When we called Ryan to inquire re: protocol in this situation - he said he wasn't working this weekend and wasn't helpful. The icing on the cake was finding a $300 charge on my credit card today - again for a trip that didn't happen. When I called about this, Ryan said the charge was reversed yesterday and I should see it returned by Thursday. If this is the case, I would have expected a note yesterday apologizing for the billing error - at least. Nothing. Recommendations: Have back up plans that work, DO NOT charge customers for trips that don't take place (or if there is a billing error, communicate immediately with the customer and don't let them find out about it first on their bank account!), let the upset customer at least air their grievance and apologize - instead of talking over the upset customer. I wish this group the best, but clearly we are less than satisfied and are now looking for a new company. read more

Don't use this company. They over charge you, and promise you a refund you never get and force you to take bigger steps to get your money back. Their people also have to text or take a picture of your credit card info because they drivers don't have the technology to charge it themselves. Very upset. Will never try a new company again. Just used Top Flight on Sunday for a round trip to Wrigley for our group of 12 and could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and service level. Not being from Chicago, they helped with getting us to the event on time by suggesting we leave earlier due to traffic issues. Jim our driver was amazing, could not have provided better service. The driver was waiting at ORD when I got there and was very courteous. Offered water, a newspaper, etc. and gave me advice on restaurants in the city. I called Top Fleet somewhat last minute to try and book an SUV limo for my husband's birthday. Upon calling, I found out that they were at a company outing at the Cubs game. Yet, he still knew they had a limo available for the date and time. And gave me what details I needed in order to complete the booking. He told me I'd have confirmation within a couple of hours (by the end of the Cubs game ;)). He was true to his word. I received all the confirmation and terms. There were a few questions so I called him back the next day and was quick to answer. The day of, we scheduled for a 10:45 pickup. The limo showed up at 10:15!!!! Our street is small so Dan texted me and let me know he was in a parking lot a few blocks away and to let him know when we were ready. We did and he was there a few seconds later. Very nice and professional. The limo was clean. Took a few minutes for the AC to kick in and cool down but it was very warm out that day. Once it kicked in, we were very comfortable. The adapter for us to play our own music added to the fun of the trip. The return driver picked us up on time and delivered us in appropriate manner. Charges were what we discussed. Weeks after the first and only pick up, I am still cleaning up the mess. Ordered a meet and greet and was charged for two meet and greets and only received standard pick up service. I had to call Ryan several times to get the story straight. They didn't mean to overcharge, but they did. They meant to do a meet and greet, but they didn't. They attempted to comp the next ride but never showed up. And I am still out money (over charges) a month later. Shame. We were getting married outside of the country and wanted to ride to and from the airport in style. My husband contacted Top Fleet and reserved a stretch Lincoln MKT, even though it was just the two of us! We did have lots of luggage though and needed space. We live on the south side and scheduled the vehicle to arrive at our home at 6am to go to Midway. Ryan arrived outside of our home at 545 am, which was great, and loaded all of our luggage and wedding attire into the classy vehicle. Our ride to Midway was smooth and Ryan was very pleasant. We scheduled the same vehicle before we left for our return a week later. We gave our flight info to Ryan. Naturally, our flight was delayed and we called Ryan to inform him of this as well as of our new arrival time. We also explained that my husband's phone was about to die and it was unlikely he'd be able to contact him after we got on the flight. Ryan stated that he was keeping tabs on the flight and this was not a problem. Our phone died after that phone call. After getting our luggage and going outside to meet our Limo, it was not there. Since we didn't have a phone we just waited around for about 20 minutes before contemplating getting a cab. After a few minutes however, we noticed our limo pulling up, and our driver Bruce got out of the vehicle to get our luggage from us. He stated that he was trying to call my husband for a while and we explained that we talked to Ryan about the delay and our phone dying. We had the most disappointing experience with this transport company for our September, 2016 wedding in Chicago. We had spoken with the boss of the company months leading up to our wedding and he assured us that the drivers were from the city and knew their way around. This was NOT the case on our big day. We had a bridal party of 12, plus photographer/videographer going to two photo stops and from the minute we stepped on the bus, the driver had NO IDEA where to go. It was as though he had never been to Chicago before. We had communicated ahead of time the two locations and they were Chicago landmarks (Adler Planetarium and Board of Trade). The driver asked the groom for the address/directions and even the groom had to sit with the driver most of the way to guide/direct him to both locations. The driver ended up taking wrong turns and was so confused. We missed out on valuable time that resulted in us missing key photos we wanted taken with our bridal party. It was the most stressful experience for my husband, myself and the entire group on the bus. I called the boss of the company (Ryan) the day after our wedding and told him how disappointed we were and he refused to even give our money back or any sort of refund. He did not even apologize. Started asking me to write an email with every single detail so he could send it to some other third party company (so confusing!), which i was not going to spend time doing on my honeymoon. We were already traumatized enough. I said well either way I am writing an online review, because customer service is everything and they have shown no understanding of this situation. We cannot get the time back and missed out on photos and it was clear he did not care one bit. The most disappointing experience of our entire wedding day. My friend used them for her wedding on 10/17 to drive us to take pictures and to and from the hotel and reception. They were great! Arrived on time, the bus was huge and very comfortable. We had about 15 people on board and we were able to fit a full size cooler on there too! Drive was friendly and let us have privacy. We has a blast listening to music and just enjoying ourselves. This review is 6 months overdue, but better late than never! My mom was flying from Dallas to ORD to visit a friend in Elk Grove. She was panicked as her friend was unable to pick her up from the airport. So, I decided to treat her to a car service. Since I live in Dallas, I had to rely on the ole reviews from the Internet. Apparently, there are a lot of crappy car services in Chicago! All I could find were terrible reviews and rude people. Then I stumbled upon the Top Fleet website. Ahhh, finally some class. I called and spoke to Ryan, who was awesome! He made me feel comfortable immediately. He was courteous and professional. Oh, added bonus, rates were completely reasonable. After I made the reservation, I ended up calling Ryan many times with annoying questions, and he was always patient and understanding. I wanted to make sure I didn't lose my mom at O'Hare, so I arranged for a "meet and greet" in the airport. The driver was there to meet my mom, just as planned. My mom was completely floored with the Top Fleet service. She just raved and raved about the driver and the service itself. The driver made her feel so comfortable, I think she tried to sit in the front seat with him. She clearly isn't familiar with a car service. Anyway, she told all her friends, and talked about the experience forEVER. I think the Top Fleet transfer was the highlight of her trip. You'd think I flew her in a private jet to Paris with Tom Hanks as the pilot. So, I didn't lose my mother and I gained an excellent car service. I would recommend Top Fleet to anyone. read more

By far the worst service I have ever dealt with. Had a bachelor party rent the bus to go from the city to Arlington and be picked up later in the day to go back to the city. For starters the bus arrived an hour early and stated that our pick up time was for 1130 when it was clearly noon. Even after I sent him the email showing a noon pick up time he continued to call and text us to tell us to get on the bus we need to hurry. Now that isn't enough to get a 1 star rating but here is the kicker. They never picked us up at the race track. No call no nothing. Our pick up time was 5pm and I had to call them at 530 asking where the bus was. Not only did they not have a response I was hung up on four times. The reason I was told by the final person was the wedding group before us extended their time and that it was going to be around a 7pm pick up time. Absolutely unacceptable. Talked to owner/manager on the Monday again I had to call them. Was forced to pay for the first half of the trip which I told him I will not do, but they have my deposit so they will be getting some of my money. The new reason I was given was that the wedding party broke the bus. Whether or not that is true they could have had a back up plan which I asked him about and he replied with there are cabs in front of Arlington all the time. Seemed like a great company to book after reading reviews and calling around. Unfortunately, our experience was bad and the night was semi-ruined. I booked our trip over 3 months in advanced and found out a couple days leading up to it that we couldn't drink on the party bus, weird. After discussing with the owner, he was gracious in switching the bus for us one night, but when it arrived it smelled like urine and the music didn't work. Not to mention, the driver was extremely rude to my party. The next day we had similar plans for the bus and it was 1.5 hours behind schedule, which got us to the concert over half way through.... That sucked. The company told me it's wasn't their fault and nothing they could have done about it, great! I ended up getting a discount of $150 after spending $2000 that weekend..... lol not even worth it. I was able to talk with Ryan and every detail down to calling me when they are 10 minutes away was followed. This company aims to please. Not a doubt in my mind about calling them again. I have never experienced worse customer service than at Top Fleet. I booked a limo to take my boss to and from a wedding in the suburbs. The driver escorted my boss and her party to their destination with no problem, however, he never returned - leaving the party stranded 1 hour from the city at 12:00AM on a Saturday night. The excuse? The tire pressure in the wheels were low - the driver had to pull over. These things happen, I understand, HOWEVER, we were lied to and told the driver called to alert us. Neither my boss nor I received any type of call or notification - after multiple inquiries into this "call," we were told a week later that they had the incorrect contact info. Again, situations which you cannot control arise, I completely understand that, so I decided to give Top Fleet the chance to redeem themselves. I asked Top Fleet to refund the return trip fare, and even though the cab my boss had to take back to the city was more expensive than Top Fleet, I left the refund amount up to them, hoping that they had the integrity as a company to make up for inconvenience, as well as time and money lost. It turns out they do not. THREE weeks after the incident, we finally received the refund, AFTER multiple phone calls and emails, half of which were ignored. There was no semblance of an apology, and they never once reached out to us - we always had to contact them. You would think being frequent users of Top Fleet in the past, and having a business relationship would count for something, but apparently it does not. read more

It wasn't your standard limo, but instead a really cool hatchback style that made me feel extra fancy for riding in something more unique. The inside of the limo was clean and well appointed. From the beginning, Ryan made it very easy to book wtih them, was EXTREMELY responsive and timely with emails, and was very willing to deal with my tons of questions and requests. Their MKT limo is amazing - super clean and really nice. The drivers are very nice without being in your face. We used Top Fleet for a birthday party up to Wisconsin, and it really made for a special night. I would really recommend them to anyone. You're not going to see this pricing anywhere, especially for the quality and size of their fleet. Also, pulling that MKT into their line opens it up for smaller bridal parties and fun trips - without having to book one of the big SUVs. Still tons of room in it. I'm giving this 5 stars because I had a lot of requests and Top Fleet delivered on all of them as well as going above and beyond. Ryan (owner) was quick to respond to my online inquiry and picking out a car and his recommendation the whole process was easy and painless. I hired Top Fleet for a whole day, about 6 or 7 hours on a Saturday to take me and my guests, 7 of us, around Chicago as we were visiting several different wedding dress boutiques. Bruce was our driver, he called ~30min before the scheduled arrival to let me know his current location and ETA. He arrived early and was waiting for us, it was perfect timing. He was super sweet, very thoughtful about everything and was extremely well prepared. I had shared the itinerary with Ryan a few days before, which was 4 different stops and 5 total pick ups at different locations around downtown. Bruce had the itinerary and knew it front and back, had it printed out and confirmed each stop with me every step of the way. (which helped ease my nerves and anxiety of the day in general, so great to be able to not have to worry about the organization of it all, Bruce took care of everything). He even had beer & water stocked in the car, which was fantastic and just the entire experience it really felt like Top Fleet set out to delight the customer and in the industry I work in, that is everything. Bruce was also flexible, and had a lot of fun with our group. There was one point when we had arrived ~40min early to the next appointment and he offered to simply drive us around, give a little tour of Chicago. Due to the hungry hippo nature of our group we responded with "Can you just drive around until we see a cupcake place" He laughed and of course took us to and from a cupcake place before the next appointment. It was raining as well and he walked each one of us, one at a time from the car to the store under his umbrella (since no one had brought one). I highly recommend Top Fleet! read more

We used Top Fleet for our December 30th wedding. The process was very seamless and prices were fair. We had multiple stops and two drivers. Both drivers arrived early, were friendly, and had great instruction on exactly what to do. The driver on the return trips at the end of the wedding even made an extra trip for us because we had too many guests stay until the very end of the wedding. Top Fleet called two days after the wedding to check on their customer service. We were definitely impressed and would recommend them to anyone! read more
