I have gone to Top Fuel Espresso twice. Both times I have gone the line has been extremely short and I have received great customer service. The first time I went, I ordered an iced pumpkin cookie crumble which was way to sugary! I would not recommend it. The second time I went I ordered a Roconut Dr. Pepper with cream. This dirty soda was delicious! Overall Top Fuel has great customer service, but I don't think I will be going a third time. read more

Love love love!!!! So good. I love that they have a drive thru and the drive thru has bikini bean or Dutch vibes.They are very nice and helpful and the coffee is sooo good. Depending on what you're in the mood for. I had the Pomona ice and it was absolutely perfect. The coffee is not at all bitter but very smooth. The burrito was good, a decent size nothing to huge so perfect for a quick breakfast. Highly recommend this location. The o my think I didn't like was the salsa it tasted like pace. In the wake of it; I have been harassed on social media from her followers/friends and the owner liked rude comments about me and a comment saying she deletes any negativity. Bless!! I was in Tempe for some errands and lunch and wanted to fit in trying a new (to me), local coffee place. This was delicious. The girls were so friendly and provided great service, hustling the long line on a very hot Phx day. We got the Banana Bread Latte and Rocky Mountain (caramel, marshmallow, mocha) and my gawd. I had been trying to get a lot less coffee from places that aren't the Keurig in my kitchen, but around the holidays I started up again on take-out coffees (I can't help it!) and this place isn't far from me so I decided to finally try it. I got an iced Americano w/white chocolate. Honestly, it was pretty good. I also got a chocolate muffin that wasn't so great. It was sitting in a basket when you pull up to the drive-thru and it didn't look fresh (maybe because it was Sunday and they don't do fresh pastries on the weekends?), but it was actually more stale than it looked... Like I said though, the coffee was good. I might stop by again when I want an Americano and want to go someplace different. read more

I was in the area craving coffee + a quick breakfast and decided to give this spot a try! I went through the drive thru and was greeting by a very sweet girl who made recommendations and helped me deicide on my drink and food. I ordered the Pomona coffee which is a macadamia nut, white mocha, and caramel latte. I had high hopes but was slightly underwhelmed because the espresso tasted a bit burnt/stale. Nonetheless it was not bad coffee! For food I got the bacon breakfast burrito with salsa which was actually so delicious until I was halfway through and suddenly was chewing stringy uncooked bacon slivers. I started picking out the bacon to see if I was just on a fat part but was slightly grossed out that the bacon in the lower half was indeed undercooked. I was impressed they used real bacon to begin with (I'll give them that) but the burrito was cooked and given to me in the drive through in about 3 minutes so I can also see how it was easy to be undercooked. The burrito had good taste but I couldn't finish after the raw parts. Overall it wasn't a bad experience and I would give them another shot! But slightly disappointing to have undercooked bacon and slightly burnt espresso. The cost, cool vibes/decor, and service wasn't bad though so I think another chance will better sway me! read more

It's great to have a new local coffee place in the neighborhood - love to support ASU alumni. They have energy drinks, sodas, coffees, and blended drinks so there's something for everyone. One recommendation - it would be a lot more convenient if the prices were posted somewhere on the menu or on a sign next to it. There's currently no signage with prices. I've been here a few times and my favorite drink so far is the iced thunder valley - it's like a kicker from Dutch Bros. read more

She provides excellent customer service and their coffee is delicious. I have not tried any of the food but it looks and smells delicious. I highly recommend this place. Come on Top Fuel. I love a convenient coffee shop with strong Americanos! They know how to brew my espresso right on up & they don't put a lot of oat milk in my coffee. My fiancé has been enjoying the "Area 51" energy drink. They make sure to hook up your drink & provide speedy service. I placed a door dash order from the tempe location for an eggnog latte and a bagel, I get a call stating that they didn't have any eggnog, so the lady I spoke to suggested the sugar cookie oatmilk latte. I ordered that instead, and it it TERRIBLE. I can't even drink it. I call the number on Yelp and apparently that phone number is for the Gilbert location. The lady i spoke to supposedly gave me the Tempe locations phone number, but that phone number doesn't even work. I tried calling the Gilbert location back to confirm the phone number but no answer. Now I will NEVER go back to this place if I'm going to get the run around when it comes to complaining on their products. I should have just cancelled the order. Now I know to avoid this place. read more

It was my first time here, and I walked up to the window and no one said hi or took my order. I was waiting there for at least 5 minutes, not even a glance and I know they could see me! I noticed the drive-thru gets fast attention, though. I ordered a flavored latte drink that I get at another place almost every day, and it tasted bad; it wasn't creamy even though I asked for whole milk. I think I was given skim milk instead. I was charged for 2 pumps syrup when I asked for only 1 pump. They're padding the bill charging extra add-ons hoping you won't notice until you leave, so please check your receipts. I would suggest a restructure in the ordering process. Ordering at the window is not efficient; there is no time to prep the food or drink to have it ready & the people in line behind you are waiting to even just put in their order. Also when you wait 5-7 minutes for a bagel to be toasted, you'd expect for it to be fully toasted and not just warmed up bread(floppy). The workers are friendly and the product is great, just the wait time is not. read more

Top Fuel just opened up shop where Human Bean once stood. I was skeptical at first to try it because there are already so many regular spots I've found and loved in the area and didn't know if I was ready to take a chance on somewhere new. Well I stopped by today for their grand opening weekend and it was the perfect rainy day treat! I ordered a hot chai with a pump of white mocha syrup and my partner ordered the pamona and we were both more than satisfied! The staff were super friendly and the service was so fast! There were about 3-4 cars lined up in front of us but we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. My chai was creamy and so delicious and just a tad bit sweet which is how I like my chais. This place is amazing, the coffee hits all the right spots. They have a little bit of everything, coffee, energy drinks, dirty sodas, matcha, the list goes on with a wide range of flavors! The woman who took my order was extremely friendly and helped me pick out the perfect drink - I love cinnamon so she recommend the cinnamon toast or French toast (I think that's what she called it) it was an iced white mocha with brown sugar cinnamon and I added oat milk, it was soooo good! I highly recommend it especially if you like it on the sweeter side. I'll definitely be back. Their customer service was on point and the drink was amazing! :) I try to support local as much as I can, this place has been added to my coffee shop list. read more

seen this place all over tiktok for months so i decided to try it. i was kinda shocked at how awkward my transaction felt compared to how they make themselves look online. coffee was ok. only other thing i was suspicious of was when i went to pay the device was already set on a 20% tip before i went to sign it and im glad i noticed. i hope it automatically does that and the girl didnt click it, but who knows read more

These days I just pick whichever smoothie sounds right in the moment, and it's always good. Cactus iced tea is my favorite, though green tea has been a nice switch... until caffeine reality sets in. JT's Kombucha (maybe)? A solid option. Any juice works. Haven't tried the Italian soda.... didn't even realize it was there until now. Food Favorites Bowls & Wraps: d'Vegan Bowl or Humanitarian Veg Supreme are my staples. I actually prefer the mushroom broth in the other bowl, but both deliver. Southwest Bowl? Yes, but hold the bock-bock (chicken for those not fluent in chicken noises). Burritos: Veggie Burro or Vegan Burro are my go tos now. Back in my meats days, the AZ Burro hit the spot. Breakfasts: Oatmeal Their Way is always a win but may change seasonally. Low Carb Breakfast? Exactly what it says it is. Croissantwich = buttery, flaky goodness. Nuts & Berries is good, but candied walnuts sneak up on me the same way dried cranberries do... both taste good, just not my thing. Greens & Protein I haven't had yet. Broccoli side is always a safe bet, if I am looking for a side. After almost a decade (at least), they've nailed something special. Whether I go vegan, not-so-vegan, or just "whatever sounds good today," d'Lite is consistently d'Lish (OG OGs will get that ref ;)). I always drive through, they created a kind of double line... to help with traffic flow... a bit... when it's busy. Tiny spot, high demand. Parking can still be... worth going through the drive through.

I admit I was curious from all the TikTok drama so I checked this place out the other day. It's parked near a gas station which I think is great and they keep their outside of the cafe very clean!!! This location is made to be a drive through and pick up shop like Dutch bros so it's not an indoor cafe which is fine I like the speediness! I got my drink super fast and but it was kind of watery, no big deal sometimes that happens with lattes. The service was exactly the way the girl on TikTok describe it- it was so uncomfortable and awkward. It's the type of coffee shop that you just order online with and pickup because any interaction feels like pulling someone's teeth. I'm also using a pseudonym because the owner likes to check her records and see whom ordered from her; which really freaks me out. Is she checking cc records or something? The owner seems very aggressive on TikTok with her comments and the way she responds on here is so unprofessional. I think Jessica should hire a social media manager or someone to help because if you check her other TikTok's; she makes fun of her customers a lot. read more

I tried the Tempe location of Top Fuel Espresso yesterday and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. My coffee tasted like straight milk, barely any coffee flavor at all. To make matters worse, the breakfast burrito I ordered had a hair in it, which was super off-putting. I ended up spending around $20, which is about what I'd pay at Starbucks, but the quality here was nowhere near comparable. Definitely not worth the price, and I won't be returning. read more

I'm so happy we found this place a little over a year ago! We have been here for a couple years, moving from WA. Coffee is just not the same here in AZ like the PNW until you go to Top Fuel! They have the best coffee, they HAVE LOTUS & white chocolate powder (iykyk). The girls have always been so nice and welcoming when I've come thru, whether it's busy or not. Also if you haven't tried their burrtios or that bacon melt, you're missing out! 10/10 vibes. read more

Also stopped in a few more times on my evening walks for a Lavender Haze (seasonal earl grey sage honey drink: EXCELLENT!) and their seasonal energy drink- it was a Sunset Spritz (energy with grapefruit pink cordial): both delicious. Happy to say service has improved greatly. Employees are on task and happy to answer my questions. The drinks on the seasonal menu are very good, and their classics are also great. If you're going to go soon, I'm a big fan of the Sage honey and a big fan of the cordial syrup on the 2026 Spring Menu. Will definitely be hitting Infusion up for some future study sessions.
