Super disappointing that I've come to this. Nails are mediocre. Only got them done because they "insisted" and it was convenient for ME. Allowed Mindy to do my lashes on numerous occasions. I was hesitant about this place because of the low yelp reviews. Guys, ya let me down. I had a full set + pedi and all was amazing. I'm a steadfast "french tip" girl but wanted something different. Mindy was amazing and explained everything to me. Especially since I was going with a lot longer nail than I'm used to. I don't believe I've given a 5 star review on a nail shop since the one I had been going to for a decade. But... I have since moved and the drive was getting redoncklous. I'm never disappointed with the service (pics attached)! They are my new regular salon after having several disappointments with Image Nails in Rosenberg. Everyone here is so sweet and Andy...he's gifted when it comes to doing nails! He takes his time and ensures that they are neat every time! He suggested to try marble on my ring finger today (previously had all rhinestones) & I love it! I call this pink & yellow ombre Strawberry Lemonade Swirl. I PROMISE you will not find a better nail tech & for anyone that told that bald-headed lie that Andy doesn't know how to do nails, fight me! The salon may not look upscale, but are you going to the salon for the decor or to receive great service?! I've been to the Pink Nail Bar & its beautiful, but my nails came out horrible! HORRIBLE PLACE!! I walked in and asked did they have sns dipping powder and she said yes when I sat down she didn't even know how to remove the sns powder! Then I asked are you sure you know what your doing and of course she said yes then started to get the powder ready as if I have fake nails on for a overlay!!! I said no give me a mani instead so she does( she had me using a fan to dry ) so when I go to switch over to the drying area that's broke! BEWARE Their sister salon Hollywood nails at the entrance to River's subdivision IS NOT compiling to the CDC rules for COVID 19. The are stacking people in there with no separation. Not all techs are wearing gloves. No sanitation measures being taken. They didn't even cleN the shop before opening much less sanitize. The floor was filthy with dead leaves on the floor from the dying plants. They have done nothing to protect you. Nothing is sanitized between each customer. read more

I don't normally rate low on much but this was by far the worst experience ever, I went in to get my nails done for my bachelorette weekend, mind you I'm an RN so I can't do extravagant things to my nails, I went for a simple white sparkly shellac mani and white nail polish on my toes. Everything was going fine until I'm assuming the manager saw that the one doing my manicure was not doing it correctly, so she took over, fine no big deal. The one working on my hands takes over for the one doing my pedi after all that had to be done was to clean lotion away with alcohol & put polish. Another customer comes in, the lady just walks away from me. Another worker takes over my feet, well she starts going into a coughing spell, she goes away and yet another worker takes over and immediately leaves when another customer comes in. I'm left with my toe nails just bare, I wanted to just grab my stuff and GO! but this was the only time i could get this done and I couldn't go to my bachelorette trip with toe nails not done. Plus I didn't want to risk my manicure getting ruined. FINALLY THE 5TH WORKER takes over my pedicure and finishes up the job. I shouldn't of paid, I should of said something, But horrible customer service, never have I been treated this way and for such an occasion of celebrating my wedding to be.. not to mention the multiple questions from the employees regarding my choice of using white. read more

My daughter and I went in for a shellac manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was awful. Cold water, 5 min massage and horrible polish job. I asked them to correct it, and it was worse the second time. I had to go somewhere else to get my toes polished. I asked them not to cut my daughter's nails down, but they cut them super short. The entire time the techs were taking personal calls and not paying attention. after spending 106.00 on a horrible experience, I will never go to this place again. read more

As a hairstylist I have difficult time with shellac and acrylic lifting and yanking hair. I finally tried SNS Dip nails with MINH and I can actually go up to four weeks without any issues. Super nice staff but won't be returning. Salon itself is very tiny and bright. They allow customers to talk for long periods of time on cell phones loudly. Very hard to relax here. The person that did pedicure was rough on feet and was also squinting when working on feet like she couldn't see. They never offered wine, water, or soda. The prices are too high for the experience and end result you get. Ive spent $45 total on pedicure and manicures before and walked out feeling relax and pampered and in love with my nails. Very nice people but they should lower the prices or have a more of a relaxing environment. read more

My first visit was amazing and my nails looked great! I had gotten a mani pedi and was excited to come back again since the prices were fantastic and everything was amazing! My second visit was not the same. This time I got a mani pedi and a shoulder massage. The pedicure was awesome, she got my ingrowns out with very little pain and my toes look awesome. My nails on the other hand....i had one lady take of my polish and cut my cuticles and all that which ended up looking horrible with a really rough look and texture. Then a differently lady statted doing my nails and trying to fix the edges around my nails but the damage was already done. She then started to paint my nails and was getting it all around my nail, she tried to clean it up but it was still there when I left. My shoulder massage was out of this world, it felt wonderful! When I went to checkcout they tried to add in extra charges that I didnt get and tried to make me give a ridiculous tip, I made them break down what I was being charged for and the couldnt explain the extra charges since I did not get any extra add ons except the shoulder massage which droped my total a good amount. If I got the same treatment I got my first visit I would be back, but with having such a horrible experience my second time there I will not be back. read more

I really wish they would be more honest when you ask if there is a wait, or how long until it is your turn. You walk in and ask is there a wait, they lie and say no to get you seated. Then they sat me in water for 46 minutes (by that point it is cold of course). So don't trust them when they say "no wait"... you will be waiting for a long time and then they will rush through your actual pedicure to get to the next person who walks in and is told "no wait". They will also leave you in the middle of your pedicure then go and "tend to" the other people waiting so THEY think it is almost their turn. Why overbook and then give a crappy pedicure for the person who has been waiting an hour for their pedicure?? My time sitting in the chair waiting for my turn was longer than the actual pedicure. There is one lady who tries to talk you into doing something after you've told them what you want. I asked for solar nails and she tried to talk me into doing the dip. Then while I'm getting a pedicure she starts doing shellac. By this time I gave up. I did not get to enjoy my pedicure because I had to hold different items for her to do my nails. At the end they normally do a complimentary hand massage. This time they used gloves with lotion in them and massages. When I was checking out I was charged for hand massage. New management isn't always a good thing. read more

I've been going to Top Nails for a little over a year and I'm highly disappointed with my service today... hands down the worst experience I've ever had. The male that did my nails was really unprofessional. I noticed he put the wrong color on and when I questioned him, he gave me attitude. He gave me a neon purple instead of a dark purple. I asked him to do 3 coats instead of 2 to make it a little darker and he again, gave me attitude. I asked for square round nails and that's not what he gave me. I ended up going home, but by the time I got home, I really looked at my nails and decided I had to go back because of how bad they were. He shaped my nails where there was a curve in the middle and it went up on the corners of my nail (sharp corners). When I went back he looked at me and asked why I was back. I told him I wasn't happy with my nails (explaining how he shaped them) and he said "go to my table" with attitude and throwing what he had down. He asked me again what was wrong and I explained again. Then did he only make it worse. He was making the middle of my nail (where it's curved excessively) more of a curve by filing it down. I told him to stop and asked him to do just the corners of my nails so it's more of the shape I wanted. He then proceeded to say "then you do it" while giving me the nail file. Um, excuse me... I'm not the professional one here. I was so frustrated and heated that I didn't realize how much I filed down of one of my nails. I then explained to him what I wanted again, hoping he would get it. My nails are all screwed up as he made them worse and at the end, he said "okay, good?" And I said "sure" because by this time I am over it. He got up and he noticed I was getting up and he asked what else I wanted. I told him I wanted him to paint again because while he was filing them down.... the paint came off!!! He was really going to let me walk out of there with spots on my nails not painted??? He also gave me attitude while sitting down again to paint my nails again. But it's just where he filed. Not even the whole nails. I am one that never ever gets upset with nail salons. I don't care if they get my nail shape wrong or the color, but this time I did because of how bad my shape was and his poor attitude. So unprofessional and will never go back. What a waste of $40 and my nails literally look like sh*t!!!! read more
