Would have been a 5 if they had smaller portion sizes for two people vs 4. The portion sizes make it hard to try a bunch of things on the menu because the portion of each item you order is so large. The food is excellent and the concept is very fun! They allow you to take your time (2 hours) going through the meal which for us old folks is crucial! Their service is outstanding but they did forget one ingredient we asked for a couple times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is fun and laid back with robots bringing a few items and a salad bar with crab legs and dessert as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back!

Came here on a Friday night and enjoyed every minute. We just moved here from Columbus and have been looking for a new Korean barbecue/hot pot place. All you can eat crab legs were surprisingly good and the service was on point. Everything came out super fast. Didn't have any issues with putting additional orders in or getting the grill changed. Think we found our new favorite Korean barbecue spot in Cincinnati.

The prices are super reasonable for all you can eat. They do have strict guidelines on wasting food so make sure to order what you will eat. My friend and I tried both barbecue and hotpot. The meat was fresh and our server was quick to respond to additional orders and questions.

Birthday girl chose hot pot! We had a great dinner - we did just the hot pot (you can do bbq here too). Loved that each seat got their own hot pot, and therefore could choose your own base/broth. Mine was miso and just right. Lots of meats and veggies to choose from, and the sauce bar for extra flavorings. The veggies were nice and fresh. Server came around several times to see if we needed anything and to take orders for additional ingredients. We only ordered twice and were full! Our server was fantastic and our orders came promptly. We had reservations on a Saturday night - there were empty tables when we arrived but by the time we left, the restaurant was full. The restaurant is very large and clean, with nice decor. Big parking lot. We had a great experience and would definitely come again for hot pot!

I met some family for dinner last night and we agreed to give this place a try. Located in Deerfield Township, near all the shopping, this place was easy to find with loads of parking. A m not sure what I expected but when I walked in I was surprised at the quality decor and fun vibe I got - cool bar and plenty of seating. I also saw some robots roaming with drinks that would be delivers to your table - an overall experience. The all you can eat menu was a bit overwhelming but the staff helped us through - basically it was $29.95 for the all you can eat BBQ and for $5 more you could include the hot pot as well. You choose every element from the broth to the meat and veggies - lots to choose from with vegetarian options as well. We all loved our food, the simplicity of cooking, and the conversation. It was a great meal and super dining experience.

Tried this place for the first time for lunch with my daughter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was typical Korean BBQ.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the AYCE BBQ ($19.99 per person). We chose beef, chicken, pork, fish, zucchini, mushrooms & onions. Our server checked on us often. The meat had a good flavor but also had some gristle. We liked the fish the best. The mushrooms were inedible. The fried rice was passable. The zucchini & onions were good. We enjoyed the sauce bar. Cooking the meat on the BBQ was okay but if I go back, I will order the hot pot next time.

Tried this newer place tonight and it is very interesting. Each table has a burner for the Korean BBQ as well as a cooktop for the hotpot on each side for multiple guests. You cook the food yourself which was kind of fun as well. The good quality is very good, the cuts of meat we tried were tasty and trimmed so they could cook quickly. The restaurant us will laid out and they have fun serving robots that drive around and deliver drinks and let you pour your used trays and plates on them. Very cool! The robots have faces and talk as well. For my tastes the food was quite salty which I'm not a huge fan of but everything comes out very very fast, even the endless appetizers are super quick. An overall fun experience and groups recommend everyone to try it!

My boyfriend and I are visiting friends in Ohio this weekend and were excited to see they have an AYCE KBBQ place! They also have AYCE hot pot. It's $29.99/pp unless you choose to do both, and then it's $34.99/pp. I think they have cheaper lunch prices too. We had four of us and ordered quite an array of meats. It's more Americanized than others I've been to in my area in that there weren't really any banchan (side dishes) and instead of giving us one or two sauces, they invited us up to the sauce bar, where we can mix and match our own sauces. The sauce bar did have kimchi, some fruits, and a very tasty strawberry shortcake-tasting cake. Of everything we ordered my favorites were the beef bulgogi; the spicy pork belly, surprisingly (I can't do spice but it's not very spicy); and the zucchini. Each person in your party is allowed four items but that's PER round. There's also a $13.99/lb overage charge if you waste food aka don't finish it. You can also order side dishes and we got some edamame, gyoza, and veggie spring rolls; I believe they had a seaweed salad and a few other options too. Overall this was very tasty and I'd come back when in the area.

Our visit was during the lunch rush, and we knew we were in for a treat with their AYCE deal at $20 a pop. And let me tell you, we were grinning like Cheshire cats with our decision.. at least until we let the siren call of the AYCE hot pot lure us in for an extra $5 per head. Walking into the restaurant, we were greeted with a sight to behold - spacious interiors, ample seating, and booths wide enough to fit a small village. Our server was like a seasoned AYCE whisperer, guiding us through the ordering process, emphasizing max quantity before ordering more, ensuring we didn't bite off more than we could chew (literally) and avoiding the dreaded food wastage fee. Once we placed our initial order, we made a beeline for the sauce bar which conveniently doubled as a pit stop for appetizers and later, dessert. Grabbing extra plates and bowls like we were preparing for a buffet apocalypse, we dove headfirst into the KBBQ extravaganza. And let me tell you, the KBBQ items were the real MVPs of the meal. From quality cuts of meat to perfectly seasoned morsels, each bite was a symphony of flavor. I was lucky to go with someone who happily did the grilling so I got to do what I do best - eat my heart out (PRO TIP lol). And who knew King Oyster Mushrooms could steal the show? I mean, I'm usually all about that meaty meat, but those mushrooms? Absolute game-changers. Now, if you're thinking of hitting this place up during lunch, be warned: some dinner menu items might be off-limits. But fear not, the staples are still up for grabs. Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken Bulgogi... you get the drift. And don't sleep on the Spicy Fish Fillet - buttery soft and utterly divine! As for the hot pot, well, let's just say it didn't quite live up to the hype and left us wishing we'd stuck to the KBBQ-only plan. Even with different soup bases (he went for Original Herb, I went for Thai Tom Yum), it was not enough flavor variation. Service was solid. Our server was on point, ensuring our grill stayed sizzling and our plates stayed empty. Reordered items? Done in a flash. Two rounds in and we were ready to throw in the towel (or, more accurately, loosen our belts). But you bet your bottom dollar there's always room for dessert. All in all, this joint is a definite contender for our dining hall of fame. Even with a laundry list of other restaurants, we still find ourselves reminiscing about this place and plotting our next visit. When it comes to good food and great company, there's always room for seconds... and thirds... and maybe even fourths.

We have had great Korean BBQ on the west coast and east coast, even in Korea. Based on our experience, the variety of foods available at Seoul Korean BBQ & Hotpot is quite limited. Further, the variety of meats available is also limited. It is typical for Korean BBQ restaurants to have a wide variety of side dishes (banchan) but Seoul only had some Kimchee (pickled cabbage). On the plus side, they have melon, gelatin-based dessert and an exceptional selection of fixings to make your own blend of sauces and dips for your meal. They were busy so their service was not prompt but the staff are friendly and helpful. The BBQ set up was great at removing the smoke so we don't leave the restaurant with our clothes smelling of Korean BBQ. Pricing is typical at $29.99/person for dinner (BBQ only).

Experience was great overall! We made a visit to Cincinnati but our plan turned South. When we searched up a Korean restaurant nearby, this restaurant showed up. The place looked brand new. It turns out it's been only a month since it opened. Decor of the place reminded me of Korean traditional house. For the food, basically it's all you can eat. Price was great considering the amount of food we had. We paid little extra to have both hotpot and bbq. It was worth it. Selection of meats and vegetables were great! My favorite was brisket and smoked garlic pork belly. You can get few side dishes and sauces from the salad bar near kitchen. Staffs were attentive and service was very quick. We went in little after 4pm. By the time we were heading out, there were people in line waiting. We must have came in at the right time. I would definitely come again.

New KBBQ and Hotpot place in Mason area! My friend reserved a table so we got our seat quickly! After we seat down the manager came out and brief us the menu item. The service is pretty good. The waiter also came to our table quickly to help us order food and drinks. Food came out really fast. The food is okay. One thing I will suggest is I think they can use a longer tong.

I've eaten my way through every smokehouse in Cincinnati, so when I say Midwest Best BBQ is the real deal, believe me. My arteries are practically Yelp-certified. The team of servers and cooks seems like they recruited an entire football team of young men from the University of Cincinnati; service so fast you'd think they were running a two-minute drill, attentive enough to make your mom jealous, and coordinated like they're protecting the quarterback only this time, the quarterback is your pulled-pork sandwich. Their wings, rubs, and sauces? Every single flavor profile was so good I nearly proposed to the coleslaw. And don't get me started on the G-Funk wings. They're delightful, though naming wings after a rap genre means you half expect Dr. Dre to hand you wet wipes. And let's talk about the smoking schedule. They've got a night smoker and a day smoker, which sounds less like a BBQ setup and more like a buddy-cop movie: "Day Smoker plays by the rules, Night Smoker breaks 'em, but together they deliver justice... in the form of brisket." Mark, one of the owners, literally smokes meat during a half-day shift with the love and passion of a Michelin-star chef who moonlights as Cupid. This guy makes ribs like he's serenading them. If Hallmark made a "Brisket Romance" channel, Mark would star in every single movie. I bought several pounds of meat to take home. Not "a pound." Several. Because nothing says "self-control" like hiding a bag of smoked chicken behind your kale in the fridge. Exclamation point. Period. Now, location... ...here's the kicker. They're hidden off the road over a hundred yards. That's right, it's the Area 51 of BBQ. You basically need Google Maps, a Sherpa, and divine intervention to find them. Yet, somehow, when you do, it feels like stumbling upon the Ark of the Covenant... ...only tastier, and fewer Nazis melting. Inside? Casual. TVs locked on Bengals or Reds games, so you can watch disappointment while you eat happiness. Patio? Shaded. Perfect for when you want to sweat from the hot sauce, not the sun. The sides? Top echelon. Beans, slaw, cornbread, each one a little sidekick to the main meat superhero. And for the low-carb crowd, this place is a protein paradise. Keto bros rejoice: you can bench-press your brisket guilt-free. Bottom line: Midwest Best BBQ doesn't just feed you, it baptizes you in smoke, sauce, and joy. And if you're not leaving with meat sweats, did you even go?

The brisket fell apart as it was sliced-tasted like a pot roast. The Mac and cheese was the driest meat and driest mac & cheese I've ever had. The mac & cheese tasted like day old mac & cheese that had look outside so I don't get cones fucking hollow inside. Why did you get this for your cup? I can't hold it anymore. Just forget it. OK been heated up. The scalloped potatoes were pretty good. The greens had a little bit of flavor. There wasn't a whole lot of flavor overall except for that brisket chili that was probably the best brisket chili the ordering system was easy you walk in you tell them what you want. You're charged right away. You go sit at the picnic tables and eat your dinner. We went to this place because we thought that it had a salad bar, but apparently that was something they did in the past I don't think we'll be going back to this place. It is cute if you're in the area that brisket chili was very spicy, but had a good flavor to it.

The food sits out all day, covered in plastic, on a warmer. It's all just mediocre temperature and not very fresh. I tried to get ribs for lunch once, and he said they would't be ready until 2-3. yep, b/c that's when people eat lunch. The building is nice and clean, and the staff is very nice and friendly. I could do without Fox Fake news blaring on the very large television. The last time I went, I let out some farts by the shed.

I've been following Historic BBQ on Yelp for a couple years and there's not been a 2nd review in six years? I followed Historic on Instagram in hopes they'd announce a day/time/place for me to come chat and brisket. I was a bit hesitant as his web page states that they are official bbq competitors and honestly, I'm not here for the show, I'm here for the flavor and texture. Finally got to talk to Tony(and his dad!) and as I'd expected, they are super friendly and we could talk about bbq for hours. Service was immediate and pickup took maybe two minutes even with me and all my questions. Tony and his dad were incredibly informative in the process and you can see how much they love to make people happy with their bbq. The trailer was parked right off Main St at a local beer house called the Common Beer Company. They mentioned they will be here on the 4th Sunday of every month so I know when and where I can find them. The brisket was absolutely delicious. That day we are brisket for dinner. Last night we used leftovers to make brisket/cheese quesadillas and again. Delicious. The meat is perfectly cooked; faultless bark, juicy and very flavorful. They mentioned as I walked up at around 2p and they had just sold their last few bones of the ribs so plan accordingly. I'll be back, I love supporting a local family.
