I wanted to love this place. Everyone is looking for a reliable auto repair shop. This shop was recommended to me by a few people. I have electrical issues going on with my car and needed an alignment. I'm the end, I was charged $60. The electrical issues couldn't be resolved. The alignment wasn't done. Very disappointed. The owner claimed that the alignment was fixed after I called back to say that it's still a problem. My car is pulling to the right so severely that it's dangerous. Poor business ethics. read more

I get a feeling this is the place to come if you are not a girl, or at least not a californian-english-speaking girl like myself. Something tells me they hate dealing with women. It took me a couple phone calls to finally get an "appointment" with them. I showed up to the "appointment" and they have this look on their faces like I wasn't supposed to be there at all. All I asked for was an oil change and a check up on the car. And the guy treated me like i'm stupid: "Ma'am, it'll take time for me to check the car. so do you want to leave your car here?" Well duh I BEST be leaving my car here. What else you expect me to do? Take you home with me? anyways I said " yes sure I'll just wait here". " It'll take hours though" " I thought I had an appointment. But oh well, I'll wait here for hours then I guess" Then he gave me this look that was like "oh bitch please" So I sat in the grungy waiting room for an hour. It's like a time machine in there, the old pepsi vending machine from the 80's and a small tv from the early 90's. if you're a hipster you would really enjoy it. Then the guy came back and said: "I checked the car. there's nothing wrong. I just did an oil change" The reason I asked for a check up was because my car started making these squeeky noises everytime I hit the brake. I just want him to say something like "you need to change your brake pads/ shocks" then I would've done it right then and there. But he just kinda told me there's nothing wrong to get rid off me, which was unprofessional. I've never fixed my own car but I've gotten oil changes and been to car service places for my car. I've never been to a place that don't take appointments and treated you like an idiot just because they think you are a girl and they think you wouldn't give a damn to notice anything wrong anyways. The oil change was 25 dollars, was at at least a fair price for Michigan? it's kind of a steal for californians but that's the only thing that chilled me out, unfortunately. read more

A coworker of mine recommended this place to me. I took my car in and it's true the owner doesn't say much, but this is what I've come to expect from good mechanics. My car was making a rattling noise sometimes when I stopped (especially at the drive thru). I made an appointment and took it in. They were even able to give me a ride to my work from the shop (in my car of course). The mechanic that I road with told me what he thought it was (the exhaust shield) and I was able to point out the noise I was hearing. The drive was a bit awkward but oh well. I got a call around noon saying he removed the exhaust shield with no charge. I'm not sure if the exhaust shield is needed, but honestly by the time it causes a problem I'll have a new car. I should've asked, but I didn't have to pay a dime to stop the annoying rattle so I'm happy. read more

Bobby and the guys are the best! We've been coming to AutoTechnology for a few years and I've never had a mechanic I appreciate so much, who is so close, affordable and accommodating. He is consistently less expensive than many other shops from whom I have gotten estimates. Also, I have NEVER picked up my car after a repair and had something ELSE go wrong when I got home. I highly recommend AutoTechnology, they are friendly, affordable, fast and will bend over backwards for you, even if they don't know you!
