My only beef with Top Sushi is that I didn't discover it sooner. Wow. I'm a bit of a sushi snob and this place delivers on all the points that are essential for a superior sushi experience. First of all the place is tastefully done, open concept, great sushi bar and cocktail bar. Next, the menu is expansive. Most importantly, the sushi chefs are on their game, obviously taking great pride in their work. So incredibly well done. We had multiple appetizers and selections of sushi, both rolls and negiri. I've had 2 party's here in the past month! My husbands 50th which was 40 guests, and my own with 15 guests. My husbands party was so amazing and the service was so on point that very night even though I myself don't eat sushi (plenty other options) I decided that very night that's where I was doing my own birthday dinner. I love Top Sushi the staff is always super friendly and helpful. The resturant has a very cool chill warm geometric vibe and decor. And the sushi is always great compared to other restaurants in the area. Their sushi is always the best. It's super fresh and always delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Went in for dinner on Mother's Day with the family. We'd seen they had all day happy hour on Sundays and picked this place because of it. We get there and ask for happy hour menu and were told that they aren't doing happy hour because of Mother's Day. I ask them if there is a different special for mothers. Nope, they just want to charge full price on a day when they figured more people would go out. I found this really tacky. Let's celebrate the mothers by making them pay more! The food was ok. Best dish was spicy edamame. All the sushi rolls had rice that was al dente and crunchy. It was not enjoyable. I will say the fish was the freshest tasting fish I've had in TW. Like you just caught the fish. I also thought it was really sad to see all those live fish in a tank with absolutely nothing in it except water. At least give them a few plants. We love this place and eat here often. Service is always great and the food is always on point. My only complaint is from our visit today. I'm probably going to sound like a total Karen and a cheap piece of trash here for that I apologize in advance. We eat at TS often on Sundays because we love it and it's all day happy hour. Now not trying to be a jerk but with gas costing what it does, inflation, and having very little extra money to go around, our family on a fixed budget has had to notch back the eating out and extra things where we can. So we were super disappointed to find out once we sat down that today "Fathers Day" there was no happy hour menu because it's a "holiday". Now I'm fine if you want to do something special on a holiday. Certain food and drink specials or even a set menu to handle extra crowds if you expect them. But there was absolutely nothing new or special. It was like top sushi just decided to add another poke in the tailpipe to an already rough economic climate as a Father's Day gift. Ok rant over. Parking.... Meh. Empty for a sushi spot. Appetizers were edamame and cucumbers. No flavor. The group I was with enjoyed there rolls until the end when they saw a hair at the bottom of there dish. My rolls tasted like store bought. Definitely not a "Top Sushi" spot in my opinion. Better places out there and to be fair I will come back to justify my rating or lowering. read more

Disappointing. Calamari was room temp when it arrived at our table and didn't taste fresh. I didn't want to complain so we just didn't finish it. The server wasn't very attentive and when I asked about the rolls she didn't have much to say other than they were good. When the rolls arrived they were all very spicy. I wish the server was more educated about the menu and would have warned me that all of them were spicy and recommended a balance of flavors. Oh well. However upon getting home we all got sick. I'm really disturbed by the fact that they think it is appropriate to serve customers food that has been sitting on the floor. Regardless of whether or not it is inside of a stand, it was less than 6" from the floor. That is wildly unsanitary for one and for 2 it's incredibly disrespectful to the customers who spend money at your establishment. When I tried to call and get the matter resolved solved, they refuse to let me speak to management as well as arguing with me about what I physically witnessed with my own eyes. Food on the floor notwithstanding, they are also misinformed about service animals. Their signage on the front door is not only disrespectful to teams it is illegal . I have eaten here twice now and both times were good. I really liked their happy hour option and instead of only doing a handful of options they had a discount with most items. The service was friendly and the fish was fresh. They have a good selection of specialty rolls. I have only tried their sushi and cannot speak to anything else on their menu. Horrible place! Do not eat there if you like good sushi. The sushi here is absolutely gross. We ordered 4 different sushi rolls and all of them were horrible, we sent 2 back and were gagging on the remaining, actually spit up 2 pieces. We were actually intermittent fasting so we were really hungry and despite that, the food was just trash. The sushi was so gooey, had a gross metallic taste, and was just too much sauce/mayo.
