Ambiance: Well-decorated sushi & hibachi restaurant with a bar area, patio, indoor dining options, and teppanyaki tables (where they cook in front of you!). I like that it's never too loud and my dining experience has always felt spacious. Great for a date night, celebration, or just grabbing sushi for lunch! Parking onsite. Expansive menu with vegan/vegetarian sushi options and soy paper. Quick service, decent pricing. This has been a go-to sushi spot of mine for years now. Quality is always good, love their cocktails, and delicious food.

Came in during Happy Hour with my daughter on a Tuesday around 5pm. They have hibachi or table service. We opted for a table service booth and were promptly sat and greeted. I was a little disappointed that they only have hot sale options for Happy Hour as I prefer cold sake. Daughter had the miso soup and Rainbow Roll on Happy Hour. I decided to try the HH Yuki Roll because I'm a sucker for honey wasabi sauce. We both loved our rolls! Since it was our first time here, I ordered my typical items to judge sushi freshness...1 piece each of tuna and super white tuna nigiri. Both were extremely fresh tasting and tender. Service was attentive and there when needed but not overwhelming. Restaurant and bathroom were clean. All in all, I would definitely return to try other menu items and check out the hibachi one day. I'm also curious about the other seating options around the outside of the restaurant with, what appear to be, panels that can be opened/closed for weather.

This is a good Japanese restaurant. Our server Kayla is really nice. I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon bento box, and the salmon was really tender and delicious. Inside, it's fancy and cozy but it's gets cold in there sometimes so I recommend a jacket. Overall I enjoyed my experience here and I will be back!

I found out about this place on Open Table. I wanted to try something different with my husband. We had their Valentine's Day dinner. It included your choice of appetizer, soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert. We had the pepper tuna sashimi appetizer along with the stuffed avocado appetizer. They both were fantastic. We had their salad and soup. The salad had a dressing that I couldn't put a finger on, but it was great! The soup was delicious as well. For our entrées, we had the hibachi surf and turf and the hibachi seafood combination. So much food that we had to take it to go!!! Our server, Quintin, was excellent!!! He came over at just the right time all night. Drinks were filled, plates were cleared, and his positive energy was exactly what we needed!! There was only us and another couple there. That made the night great. I definitely am happy I found this place. The vibe was great. The music was at the perfect volume so that you can enjoy a conversation without yelling. We will be back!!

The ambiance and physical space were nice. The food choices for the all you can eat was plentiful: shaggy dog roll, scorpion roll, alaska roll, multiple varieties of nigiri, edamame, gyoza, crab puffs, house salad, soup, to name a few. The nigiri was just the right size to fit in your mouth, and the sushi rice was tasty. The waiter came by pretty often to service the used plates and refill drinks. I would definitely go there again!

Ate here for our 6 year olds birthday back in may and the service was awesome. The kids enjoyed the food and the chef. Sushi and hibachi was to die for. We will most definitely be back soon. The ambiance when you walk in is so nice and beautifully decorated.

Came in on the Fourth of July around 7pm. They were decently busy but we were seated pretty quickly. There seemed to be only two waiters so the service was a little bit slow. The restaurant itself was cute, it was dark and moody. If it were any cooler outside the patio would've been a nice seating option. As far as the food goes, my date and I both ordered pomegranate lemonades and they were just okay. The pomegranate flavor was super artificial to me, but he liked it so the taste is subjective. We also ordered the hibachi chicken and shrimp dinner. The shrimp was great and so was the rice. The chicken was a little dry but with the sauce it was good. We ordered the crunch roll and it was practically falling apart. The flavor was decent but it was just really messy. Finally, we had shrimp and pepper tuna sushi, they weren't our favorite and we've definitely had better. Overall, our experience wasn't bad but I'm not sure we'll be back.

We visited this location for a birthday dinner. We did teppenyaki and got steak, salmon, and…read morechicken dinners, along with a Shogun roll and a yellowtail hand roll. I got green tea for a beverage. Finished with a mango sorbet and a mud pie. The meal started with salad with ginger dressing and onion soup. The dressing was fine, and I prefer onion soup to miso, so we were off to a decent start. The teppenyaki show was pretty basic, some fun stuff but not particularly advanced. Shogun's teppenyaki is all seasoned mainly with teriyaki sauce. All of our food was a bit overdone, not a lot but enough to notice. Vegetables were fine. We got the fried rice, which is more fun since it's prepared in front of us, but it was just fried rice and eggs and ended up very sticky. I didn't eat much of mine. The yellowtail roll was ok, the flavor did not jump out but it was good with soy sauce. The sushi was also just OK, the flavors kind of run together. Not a lot of crunch for a crunchy roll. We got our shrimp appetizer last because one of our party had a seafood allergy and they do the shrimp separately if you ask, which is good. The shrimp were prepared just right. The mango sorbet was probably the best thing about the meal. The sorbet is tasty and it's served attractively in a halved mango. I can recommend that. The mud pie is a purchased frozen dessert but it was good. Service was fine, the server was attentive and helpful and the chef did his bit competently. The overall impression I got about the place is that it's tired. The decor is very simple and hasn't been updated in awhile--everthing is brown. The wallpaper was installed some time ago with obvious seams. It is showing wear in several places. The bathroom was reasonably clean but the urinal had flushing difficulty. What the place needs is a makeover, from the decor to the menu to the teppenyaki presentation. It's acceptable but I've had better teppenyaki in several places.

The whole family enjoyed our interaction at the teppanyaki table. It was a show of skillful cooking, and the chef provided a bit of comedy relief too. Very glad we decided to sit there. It made all the difference! Food was yummy. The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly on the griddle, and the fried rice & yakisoba noodles tasted fresh and flavorful. The sushi was also good; nothing remarkable (in comparison to other establishments with a similar menu), but the rolls were tasty & had nice presentation. The whole family enjoyed the meal, including the kiddos. Some highs & lows (with room for improvement specifically in areas of customer service).... but we would probably give them another try.

We made reservations ahead of time, so there was no wait, which is always a great way to start a meal. We ended up upgrading to the steak option, which only increased the price slightly and was well worth it. Lunch kicked off with a delicious bowl of onion soup, and before we knew it, our entrees were arriving at the table. The service was impressively quick without making us feel rushed. One minute we were enjoying our drinks, and the next our lunch platters were nestled right between them. The food came out hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. Every bite delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Between the flavorful meal, attentive waiter, and the cleanliness of the restaurant, this visit checked all the boxes. If you've been curious about the lunch menu, consider this your sign to give it a try. For the quality, portion size, and overall experience, it was a great choice and one I'd happily make again.

The food was super good! Like everything was really good! It was fairly clean & the menu had decent options. The ambiance was ok, nothing great, nothing bad, just average. Not upscale, it felt casual. One of our guests was allergic to shellfish and they did a mostly decent job of remembering that. The bad: the manager was rude. I asked for our server because we were missing a bunch of items. He was insistent we talk to him, then said well I don't know what you ordered so I don't know if you're missing stuff. Well duh! That's why I asked for the server, SIR. & Absolutely no discount for forgetting menu items is wild. We ordered the 5/6 course meals (8 people total) and they almost forgot our green tea (pass on that by the way), every person's steamed rice was forgotten (the server did offer but it was after the meal.... So just plain rice? No thanks), and I had to remind them of the ice cream. It just felt like such an oversight on the menu. 3/5-6 courses forgotten is wild. The prices. This is way too expensive for what you get. At home hibachi shows are better and the same price. The meh: the show! My gosh y'all this is hibachi, Give me a show! The chef was kind of just mean trying to be funny and the majority of the show was "this isn't butter, it's ice cream" like ok. We get it, you renamed everything. Throw some shrimp, please. Which he didn't, boo. The drinks. $9.50 for a virgin strawberry daiquiri that tasted like straight lime is wild. The dragon fruit margarita was salt somehow? Way too expensive and not great. The water. Omg. Get me some refills, please! There's 8 of us, one bottle goes quickkkkk and they fill it up in wine glasses like 1/8 of the way full. That's a whole 2 sips, y'all. My daughter semi-enjoyed it but I think she just didn't want us to be disappointed. We probably wouldn't come back. Good food, decent service, but the price for what you get is a hard pass. 2 adults and 1 kid with a 20% tip was over $200. Oh and 3 hours. Don't be in a hurry.

The teppanyaki show was fun, engaging, and very well done, and everything we tried tasted fresh and flavorful. The sushi was also surprisingly good. The hibachi itself was also very good, and the menu offers a wide variety of meats to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for. The Maki lunch special comes with 2 rolls, soup and salad. The soups and salad were a generous side, definitely more than you'd would get with a bento box. The salad was fresh and had the usual creamy ginger Japanese dressing, delish. For the maki bowls, they were a nice size, and are actually the normal sized rolls you would get from the menu for a spicy salmon and eel roll. I thought for price would be simple hand rolls with just fish and rice and wrapper, but these had cucumber or avocado, sauces and nicely filled. Deliscious eel, spicy salmon had a surprisingly different delicious flavor to it and nice kick. For the spicy miso ramen, it's actually their original tonkotsu with miso and spiciness mixed in. The waitress recommended as the best flavor and although I haven't tried any of their others, it did have nice flavor. Creamy, with layers of flavor and a nice mouth feel that coated your tongue with umami. I am a spicy fanatic, so for me wasn't very spicy, but with chili oil available on the table I could increase the spicy profile. The nice thing here is the ramen toppings aren't all extra so a great deal. Came with chashu, 2 pieces, one on top had been fried with an excellent char and crunchiness to it, especially since the crunchy garlic was on top. Also for toppings were corn, bamboo shoots, nori, rice cakes, and half a boiled egg so no nickel and dime for toppings here . Fast and attentive service so if trying to get in and out on your lunch break, no problem. Quaint, small venue in shopping strip. Quiet though so nice to have conversation with your lunch date. I would recommend and definitely go again
