I've been going to this store for a while, and so far, everyone has been pretty nice. My daughter…read moreand I recently started learning how to make jewelry, and today I called to ask whether they carry anything suitable for working with pearls. The woman I spoke with did provide the information I was looking for, but her tone came across as unnecessarily short and somewhat snobbish. She made comments along the lines of, "You should just bring your pearl here so we can look," and, "You don't even know the names of the parts you're looking for." I understood what she was trying to imply--that bringing the pearl in would make it easier for them to identify the appropriate components--but there's definitely a more helpful and welcoming way to phrase that, especially when someone is new to jewelry making and simply trying to learn. I'll continue going to the store, as my previous experiences have been positive, but this interaction was disappointing.

I placed an order for blinds and draperies back in June 2025. The blinds were installed fairly…read morequickly and work well. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of service for the draperies. The first time the installer came out, it quickly became evident that the draperies for two of the three rooms had been made 4 inches too short, and the roman shade had been made too wide to fit in the space (this is after they had been professionally measured by the installer). They were sent back and lengthened but one of the draperies was still an inch too short, and the roman shade had not been cut down, so these went back a second time to be redone - this was in October 2025. Since that time I was notified that the new drapery was in, but the roman shade is still not fixed and they don't have an ETA. I just called again to check status and the person I talked to was already so upset apparently by someone else's problems and frustration that as soon as I told her I was frustrated she started to cry because it isn't her fault. (It isn't her fault, but that doesn't solve my problem - and I was being firm but very polite.) She had to hang up the phone and said she'd call me back. The quality of the draperies that are installed is good - but here I am 7 months after I placed the order and they still haven't got it right. I don't know what's happening over there but I am beyond frustrated and will never recommend this store to anyone else.

I only bought two little pens and a sewing pattern, and I'm not even sure what the subtotal was. I assumed it was 75c with tax, so just in case I pulled out two dollars. The lady told me "I need 4 cents." I thought she meant the total was $1.04, so I told her "Oh I don't have coins, I'll pay with card so you don't have to make change." She gave me a pointed look and said, "...then I'll have to charge you an extra 50c" I was super confused, but that was fine. I thought it over a little, and then she told me, "Your total is only 96c" Totally fine, I gave her one dollar and told her to keep the change. Usually... you tell the customer their total and they can figure out what to give you. Not a weird vague comment. She's not mean, she helped me find a nearby bathroom, and she told another customer she's worked at a paint store before, so I think she's just... odd. I think staff needs a little more consistent training, it was somewhat uncomfortable.

The frame and mat came out beautiful but her rudeness certainly distracted from the whole experience and even though I have two additional pieces coming from this artist I WILL NOT be taking them here to be framed and matted.

I picked a little bowl to paint and pulled up my Pinterest board for inspiration. They also give you ceramic palettes and a water mug to clean off your paintbrushes. After you're done with decorating, you clean up your items and put them in the correct compartments for the staff to wash.
