First, I want to say that Wendy is a great person--she's friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. Her customer service really stood out. However, my overall experience was disappointing. I usually go to Valvoline, but I decided to try this location because it's closer to my home and I could use my AAA discount. Unfortunately, the service time was extremely long. I arrived at 9:35 AM for a 10:00 AM appointment, and it is now 1:13 PM--and my car still isn't finished. I only came in for a basic oil change, filter replacement, and tire rotation, which I've never had take this long anywhere else. I appreciate the staff's friendliness, but the wait time was very frustrating and not what I expected for routine service. To be honest, Valvoline is your best place to go. Now AC doesn't work at all, heating all over!! It only lasted two weeks. Ac does not cool no more!! They gave us 1 year warranty & won't honor the warranty they gave us!! They expect me to pay more!! I vividly remember the battery being 95$ on the original invoice because I had already priced them and found the cheapest one for my van was 79$ from AutoZone, so i figured I'd pay an extra 15 bucks to have someone else install it no big deal. when i went to pick up my van. the guy said " the technician recommended a radiator flush" and i was confused because I had already approved the rad flush. i asked what they did do and he show me a different work order with no radiator flush and A 315$ battery!!! they did not do the radiator flush and instead charged me three times for the battery!!! liars and crooks! We have taken our truck here in the past and have been very happy with pricing and service.... took our truck in on a Wednesday for a bad axel possibly rotor (our diagnosis) when we called they drove it and nothing was wrong with it suggested a tire alignment even though we told them the back passenger wheel had issues wobbling... I'm no mechanic but I also know you can't align the back wheels so..my husband suggested (to the "trained" professionals) to Jack the truck up to see the tire wobbling. He told them he thought it was the axel, rotor or both when they called back that was what the problem was. They gave an estimate for the repair, my husband said he would repair rotor and brakes himself to save money and then all the sudden they couldn't get the axel for the price they quoted and almost doubled the price of the axel... they had the truck there the entire time (Ford Raptor) and then said that was a more heavy duty part they had originally ordered. Wendy, the owner according to Adriana called my husband because he demanded to speak with the owner. After reading the Yelp reviews she is the owners daughter.. he should deal with the customers not her since she has no knowledge of cars and the actual owner has 33 years of experience according to his responses.. Wendy offered to not charge us for the 179.00 diagnostic fee.. that sounds great but either way it's deducted with the labor so how does that work out for us?!?! Diagnostic fee only charges if you don't have them do the work! We went to pick up the truck 9 days after to fix 1 axel. Front windows rolled down (in the ghetto) and it was $907.00.. my husband went to pay with his debit card and they said they only take cash!! Incompetent! Review truncated as there is too many lies by Ultimate to include... This shop had my vehicle in their possession from March 18, 2021 - June 8, 2021 and then again from July 26, 2021 - January 19, 2022. For the period of March 18, 2021 - June 8, 2021, my vehicle was in their possession for the repair/replacement of Engine Oil Cooler (and new seals and gaskets), Mass Air Flow sensor, Turbo drain and feed lines, Front brake pads and rotors, Brake Booster and Smog, all of which I paid for. Shortly after picking up my vehicle, check engine light came on, etc. I took my vehicle for diagnosis at a dealership as my vehicle had already been with Ultimate for months. The dealership informed me to take the vehicle back to Ultimate as there are problems consistent with their repair work, etc. For the period of July 26, 2021 - January 19, 2022, my car was in their possession again. It was one story and numerous lies after another. Long story short, while my vehicle was in their possession the second time, the following items were broken by their coming and going technicians: Left and Right Intake Port Shutoff Hall Sensors, EGR Valve, and Intake and Exhaust Manifold. Upon retrieving my vehicle on January 19, 2022, my driver's side windshield was cracked approximately 10 inches. They denied any wrongdoing once again. read more

I took my car here since this shop has been my shop for the past 4 years so I figured they would give me the best service. But this last time that I took my car, I was extremely disappointed with the way they handled business. The manager Wendy, made promises after promises but disappointed each time. She really needs more knowledge in cars and in management. They charged me over $390 for a diagnostics for an issue I had with my catalytic converter. I applied for the CAP Program of California to help with the costs of my car since it did not pass the smog test. Wendy had no idea of how the program works even though in their establishment they promote they "work" with the program to help you. I spent a whole month going back and forth with them to find ways to fix my car, and at the end I ended up having to take my car out of the shop. So I took my car to another shop and within 6 days they fixed my car with the help of CAP Program, replaced my catalytic converter, ran another smog test (Which finally passed), and my car was good to go. Ultimate Performance fixed my Prius after the Toyota dealer totally misdiagnosed my car's problem. My water pump needed replacing and twice when I took into my dealer over a couple month period, they told me different things. One of the things they told me is that I must have run out of gas. They don't know that I have never even gotten close to running out of gas -- but they didn't even ask me. This shop, Ultimate Performance, fixed it in a couple of days and its been running like new since. (This was two months ago.) Total rip off artist. Do not take your vehicle here, Here's my opinion, Had my car towed in because of no start. They took 12 days to let me know it was the distributor. I looked online and found one for $130. They charged me$380. Then they would not call back to let me know they had an idle problem. This car NEVER had an idle problem until they got their hands on the vehicle. They said they wanted to run more test. That's when the red flags went up. I was charged nearly $600 for a $130 distributor & labor and who knows what more charges could they have done. And know the car has a fluctuating idle problem. Never go back. And beware people, None of these mechanics are NOT Certified ASE mechanics. Because if they were, a test equipment called OBD1 would have figured out the problem in less than 5 minuets not 2 weeks. read more

BEWARE: $125 for a check engine diagnostic test. For 2008 Hyundai Sonata they wanted to charge me roughly $2,800 for a timing chain kit and that the labor is over 10hrs. Also for spark plugs. Asked if I can only get an oil change done and tune up with fuel injectors that was going to cost $1,100. Asked if I can buy my own parts and charge me for labor so that was not allowed because they are triple A certified. The lady at the front office was laughing when I was explaining how I can waive the diagnostic test fee if I got other work done. She said I can't. I just paid $125 for a problem I already knew about and on top of that the timing belt screeching noise sounds worse since I left. Before I took it to the shop; the noise will only come on once every couple of days. Now every time I turn my car on the noise comes on every time and it's louder than before and it only stops when I put the car in drive. I would not recommend their service ever to anyone. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Took my truck to get a smog and she told me everything passed, but she failed my truck anyways because of a missing hose. An air intake hose that has absolutely no performance affect at all on my truck. I was told to reinstall the hose and they would pass the truck. So I did and brought the vehicle back over. The smog tech told me she wouldn't pass my truck without doing the whole smog over again. I don't know of any other place that charges for a smog that fails, and on top of all that, I sat there for 2 HOURS waiting... for nothing. So I'm supposed to sit there for another two hours? And, they passed my truck just the way it is, without the hose, last time I brought it in for smog. I will never bring my vehicle back here again. read more

Went in for my 60k mile maintenance, brake check, and a couple other little things. They quoted me a good price. Overall it was a good experience. Luis and Cesar (sorry if I misspelled) were super nice and courteous. They even helped me charge my phone while I waited for my friend to pick me up! The only things that brought the experience down for me was that I selected Synthetic oil change but got regular instead, and the back right passenger seat release knob came off and they said they could reattach it for me but that wasn't done either. Had a repair done. Old parts left in engine bay in the box. Repair didn't function due to improper install told me to replace whole ac compressor. Also forgot to tighten upper rad hose which In turn blew off and cracked rad. So by me trying to be lazy cost me more money because of negligence. I wish there was a no star option. I took my Suzuki SX4 to this mechanic due to the information I found regarding one of the mechanics being a Suzuki specialist. This was obviously a complete lie. I took my Suzuki in to check out a noise we heard around the alternator and they told me it needed a new water pump. They charged me 1300 for this. Then, the day after, the belt tore apart and when we took it back, the mechanic said the only way to replace the belt was to get a new ac compressor because the old one had froze up and he had no way to loop the belt around. Fair enough. So we went to get a new one. When we took the part and the car back to have the compressor and belt installed, the mechanic failed to properly hook up the hoses that go to the compressor, instead placing a sticker over the high pressure port and leaving the low pressure port unplugged completely, and wanted to charge and extra 150 to charge the ac.
