We had a really disappointing experience at Topgolf Allen. From the start, you could tell the staff could have cared less. The biggest issue was that the TV at our bay was almost completely blacked out, so we couldn't even see our scores. That's kind of the whole point of going to Topgolf, so it made the experience frustrating and honestly not worth the $200 we spent. We let staff know, but they could have cared less. Nothing was offered - not even a discount to return, partial refund, or even an offer to move to a different bay. On top of that, service was slow and inconsistent, and the overall vibe just didn't match what you'd expect for the price we paid. For a place that markets itself as a fun, high-tech experience, this visit completely missed the mark. I wouldn't rush back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it unless they improve their maintenance and customer service. Came here for a group outing. Our group had 4 bays and ordered a dinner buffet and drinks. Were were helped by Maddie all night and she was awesome! Our group had 3 hours of fun. Food included a salad, slaw, brisket, chicken, cornbread, mac & cheese, and dessert (there might have been another side that I just didn't eat, but I cannot remember). Chicken was a little dry and the cornbread would have been better if it was served warm, but all still very good. Would definitely recommend for a corporate/group or just some friends oit for the evening. read more

The food at Top Golf is surprisingly good. We had appetizers only this time. The chips and queso and the fried macaroni balls were good. Our server was very attentive, which is always appreciated. Had a great Father's Day there yesterday. I was thinking of giving them three stars because they really need to start looking at replacing the covers of the chairs in the bays, some of them were staring to look narly with stains and just wear and tear. Quick check-in when making reservations. We had no issues during our visit. Our server was awesome, and we didn't wait long for our order to be taken and delivered! We still love the chicken wings -- they have just the right amount of spice and flavor. We also tried something new for us -- the nachos -- which were okay. The chips weren't very crunchy and had more of a rubbery texture, so I probably wouldn't order them again. I really enjoyed Top golf !! We went there for my husbands birthday. The activities were great. One exception to my visit was that my husband has a head injury and every staff member was nice, but the proper first aid supplies were not in place. No alcohol wipes, not a variety of bandages. I did suggest in my visit survey that they include a stocked first aid kit per bay so that your not looking for a staff members to help with small injuries. My daughter and I did act fast and I really think this helped with getting control of the bleeding quickly. This is a nice place to have family fun, but things can happen and I think they need to be better prepared. Maybe even suggesting some first aid training for staff. read more

I HATE THIS PLACE Let me explain. One day, me and my wife decided that, for our 2 month anniversary, we would take our 17 kids to go to top golf. Why not? Fun experience, right? How wrong I was. Me, Regina, and our 17 kids arrive. After a short wait, we are led to our table by our waitress. Her name was Mary. We sit down as my oldest daughter, Lisa zooms to the machine to put our names in the system. Lisa and my other 16 kids wait excitedly for our game to start. As we our waiting, Mary comes by to take our order. Regina requests we have the cheese fries as our appetizer. Mary writers it down in her notebook and walks away. Soon, it is time to play golf. Mario, my second to oldest son, goes first. After, it is time for Luigi, my third to oldest son's turn. So far so good. Everyone is doing jolly. Until, after my 17 kids, it is my turn. I walk over and grab my club. I stroll up to the small patch of grass and adjust my hold on the club. I take a deep breath. "You can do this," I muttered to myself. "Just focus." I was determined to get a hole in one. As a small child, my father pushed for me to be a star in golf. He claimed I was a prodigy. However, right before it was time for my big game, my Pa had died to a heart attack. He never got to witness me make a hole in one. I had forfeited the game that day. But today, I was locked in. I would make a hole in one for my papa. As I tightened my grip and adjusted my stance, I smiled. I remembered who all this was for. I closed my eyes and swung. It's like I could hear his voice. "You're doing amazing, Juan." That was, until I lost my foothold. I tripped and landed into the small netting. Though, to my family and I's surprise, I bounced out. We enjoyed some afternoon entertainment on a hot day in Texas. We were hoping to have escaped the heat and found Topgolf does their best to keep you comfortable, but it was still a bit roasty. It would be helpful to have more air movement. We had fun playing the different games given my skill level is no where near my husband who can kill the crap out of the balls to about the end of the playing area...who can compete with that?! Fortunately Topgolf has options so feeble people like me have a chance to actually WIN games!!!! (Thank you!) It does make you want to come back again. This visit we enjoyed some food and beverages. Topgolf is always a great time, even for non-golfers. Topgolf in Allen, TX is no different. Stopped in on a weekday afternoon. The staff were all friendly, the facility is nice and the wait staff is also great! Whether you only have 30 minutes or hours to play, you can choose a package that fits. They still have lots of games to play in the system. The food was average, but not overpriced. The wait staff was great and kept us with cold drinks during the couple hours we were there. Decided to celebrate our Christmas gathering at this location due to them having availability. Arrived on time and still ended up waiting 30-44 minutes which was fine. Sat in the bar area while waiting for our bay, was not able to get any service. It was as if we were invisible. Once at our bay a young man helped us get started with our game but then another 15-20 minutes went by and no one came by ti take our order. We had to flag someone down to place our order. Food came out hot but our time was limited while trying to eat. We were asked to leave the bay due to our time being up. Mind you we were in the middle of eating. Service could have been much better. Next day 3 out of the 5 people in our party had upset stomachs from the food. Probably will not visit this location again. read more

We had a great time, food was good and games were good. The reason for 3 stars is the cost of games is added to the ticket, and total came to over $500. We added a 20% tip and only realized after we had given the waitress $100 tip although food and drink came to just over $200, so she actually got a 50% tip. The games should show separately so we don't tip on them. It has put us off going again as it was so expensive. read more

** Trust the low reviews and go to another Topgolf or a driving range. Great concept and idea from the company as a whole but the service and experience at this location is a big turn off and is not worth the price point. This isn't a knock on Topgolf as a whole as I love it and have had so much fun in other venues, but at this location it clearly misses the mark. All my friends can attest to how much of a fan I am of Topgolf (I have 76 logged games total) and how much I rave about it. But across all locations I've visited across three states (CA, PA, TX), this is for sure the worst one I've been to. The service is just so bad that it kills the vibe of your time there. On one of our visits, a worker walked right over our golf bag and knocked the whole bag onto the concrete floor with the uncovered clubs directly being impacted. No sort of acknowledgement or apology afterwards. That same visit, another older lady rushed us out of the venue saying that it was busy season even though there were plenty of open bays around and the app only had a 15 min wait. There's clearly a reason why you have other locations like San Jose, CA with 4+ hour waitlists on the weekdays while this one only has 15 min on its half off Tuesday, but that's beside the point. Don't be fooled by their fake attempts to make up for it as well - I was told they would follow up with me on this but they never really did. It makes me think that their replies to other negative reviews asking them to contact the team are to make people to think they care, but they don't. Other times, the process is just so inefficient and you waste a lot of time waiting. There would be empty floors and basically no one there and my party would have to wait for them to get set up for like 15 minutes even though we put our names down on the waitlist prior to coming. We would arrive at a time period where the rates were cheaper, but only were assigned a bay when we started at a more expensive time period, and no adjustment was allowed even though it was them we were waiting on. I can't imagine how much time you could waste coming during a busier time. There is a lot of young high school aged workers there, and while they aren't necessarily rude, a lot of them just seem to not look like they want to be there. A lot of the employees seem to just be standing around while everything else moves so slowly. The technology was so behind up until a month or two ago when they finally installed the Toptracer to track your shots (which is like the whole point of coming here lol). The new tech is nice though, so I'll applaud them here. It's ironic that as a Dallas based company the worst experiences I've had were at this location. read more

I was in town for a short visit with family and the only time I let my credit card out of my sight the whole time was when I gave it to Mason - our server - and let him ring up our charges. Coincidentally, the following 48 hours were full of fraudulent charges on Lyft. Watch out! I'm not saying he did it, but someone did. Came here for half off golf on Tuesdays. The top level was moderately full and people were still showing up after 8 pm. The golfing experience isn't much different here compared to other Top Golfs. There's golf clubs for men, women and youth. Ask them at the front if you need left handed clubs. You can also bring your own golf clubs. There's an arcade downstairs geared toward adults or big kids; the games are too large for young children. We ordered an assortment of food and overall it was mediocre at best. - TOPGOLF WINGS: buffalo & lemon pepper - CHEESY MACARONI BITES: decent - KOREAN PORK WRAPS: these were super gross imo, the bao bun was not good and the pork was quite disgusting. I took one bite and that was it. This app is a disservice to all bao buns everywhere. - TURKEY AVOCADO WRAP: the large cucumbers were so odd - Kids CHICKEN BITES: really can't go wrong with chicken strips and fries - COBB SALAD: I didn't try, but it looked so-so Overall, if you plan to eat here, I'd recommend the chicken bites/strips, fries, cheese macaroni bites and wings. It was the first time to go there, I'm not a golfer at all. I've been "golfing" twice in my life, a short course in Japan and I golfed 9 holes in Guam. I actually hate golfing because of my experience in Guam. Top Golf is totally different. Nobody cares if you slice it or just miss entirety. It's all for fun. I went with my 20y/o and 17y/o sons, my wife and her sister. I was the first to get to the farthest hole which was a victory for myself! Scoring was fun but the second and third game we got crushed by my 20y/o son. The food was a bit on the expensive side for my taste but it was all for fun. I felt it's a great place for a fun date night. While waiting for our golf time we spent time in the bar and Game Center. I'll definitely be back more often! This was my second time at this location and both times were good. I requested the third floor on my second visit. We checked in online for an additional cost of $20 with a 10% discount for using my MasterCard. We set out reservation for 8:30 and arrived at 7:50pm. We purchased a $20 game hall pass and played Pac-Man, space invaders, and a few other family friendly games until our table was ready. We then got our bay on the 3rd floor with wicker seating. Thankfully our servers were great! They were very attentive to our party aside from the fact that they were several other large parties near us. Improving the customer service aspect regarding presentation and explanation of service offered, followed by time limit constraints regarding final service of beverages- how can you accept an order of drinks and when the service is dramatically delayed you expect a party of 8 to consume the entire order with only 11 minutes before your reservation expires!?? The whole experience is to enjoy an outing while enjoying beverages and food with family- Queso and chips order - bottom of the bag order with just crumbs!?? Waiters even acknowledge that happens alot I'll get you another order -10 minutes later??!? We were willing to pay additional (even though we should not of had to) only to be told we have reservations you need to move to the bar. We moved to the bar and watched... no one took our area and others were also open!?? So I came here on a double date last night and I was absolutely blown away by this food! This is the second time I've been to Top Golf and I don't remember the food being memorable on my last visit, so I didn't have high expectations. My boyfriend and I shared the nacho average nachos with steak, and I got the smokehouse burger with fries. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! The burger was so juicy and super flavorful and the fries were on point! The nachos were AMAZING!! Everyone loved everything they ordered. I had to take a star off because they kept bringing me sprites with no flavor. Like they needed to refill the fountain with sprite flavoring, but they didn't so it was just sparkling water. After the second time I just gave up on asking and ordered a Mai Tai. Aside from that hiccup, everything was great! I'm a member of the Summer Pass and I put myself on the waitlist as a member of the pass has to. I immediately called b/c we were treating my mom and stepdad to their first ever topgolf experience. However, my mom has mobility issues so I called ahead to discuss that and request mobility and disability options. The person on the phone was extremely rude. Said I would have to wait until I was at the venue as it was all first come/first serve. When we arrived we got the worst bay #102 and I explained what happened on the phone. The person brought us a drink, never offering a refill. And the time only let us play for 84 minurtes and not the 2 hours we planned for. We were told this was because of reservations. I'm a customer who invested a lot of money in this summer pass, and I was never informed that there can be times we would be limited on play time due to reservations (which we can't make and use the pass). The "unlimited" play time on this pass is VERY limited in this is deceptive practices at best. So our time expired and that was the only time our person came over (hence ZERO refills), I asked if there was anyway to extend that it didn't allow the 2 hours we alloted for (due to reservations at a resteraunt later). He got the manager where I explained all that happened and he left saying he was going to see what he could do about our check for the drinks. $20 for 4 drinks never refilled. Next thing I know I got the bank alert showing I was charged and nothing at all was taken care of. We were then told we were done. I invested in this pass b/c we had great experiences here before. I would NEVER do it again. It's a shame that more attention is paid to your one time customers than those who invested. I can guarantee that the two people with us that were new to TopGolf wouldn't be back either based on their experience. read more

Went to top golf. I have been before as I grew up in the area. Ordered a miller light draft. Finished my swing, found my new beer on the table and decided to take a drink. As I was putting the beer down, it smelled funky and spoiled. I told the waitress, and she was on top of it. Gave me a bottled miller light and said it was comped. 15 min later I was in the bathroom hurling. Came out of the bathroom and my brother advised to Sam, the manager the situation. I waited patiently for the situation to resolve. Sam took off a few more dollars and sent us on our way. I made it to the car in the parking lot and then the hurling began again. I embarrassingly threw up repeatedly in the parking lot and couldn't stop. My nephew went inside and management watched me from the window throw up and all they did was give my nephew a paper bag. I didn't want to make a scene as I was sick. I am now livid. Any other place would have comped our whole experience. I am now still feeling nauseous and have been in and out of the bathroom since arriving at home. I fly tomorrow and this has been an incredible inconvenience. I am disappointed how management only half-assed the customer experience as I was suffering. I have lost faith in the quality of this establishment. I believe management could have done better resolving the situation, let alone know if their beer on tap is spoiled or not. read more

I've been here several times over the years. I think the best way to describe the place is "disappointing". It's got great technology and the facility itself is pretty nice. That's unfortunately where it all ends. The place is filthy. Not like "this table wasn't bussed perfectly". More like "most surfaces I encountered hadn't been wiped down in a long time".
