The games are fun and entertaining. The only problem that we had was that the food and drinks took forever to come. there was a worker who dropped our celery and carrots, he said he will come back with new ones but he never showed back with our celery and carrots. When our time was over, we got ready to leave and there was about 2 workers who quickly came to clean up our area for the next group. It made me question why they were so quick to come clean our area but were slow with the drinks. I'd go golf again however I would consider eating and drinking somewhere else before or after. read more

Customer service was shitty when I was here at the restaurant. Perhaps because it was final four weekend but no one came to take our orders and had to order everything from the bar. Been here a couple times and it was ok. The computers are a bit slow and didn't change players well. The big thing is, I tried to call and they don't take calls. Tried to book on line for a Thursday morning - no can do - it says that they are completely booked. 150 stalls on a Thursday at 9 am??? Uh huh. Just as well. They say that there is a $10 reservation charge. Not really interested in that. The sad part. I was given a $150 gift cert for this place. Hope that I can get to use it sometime. This was my first time visit to Top Golf and I really enjoyed the experience there. My disclaimer is that I'm not a golfer at all but I will say that this is just like the driving range but on steroids. They have golf clubs that you can use or you could bring your own set of clubs which I saw other parties do in their lane. They have several game types to keep things interesting. The problem we had was figuring out how some games award points to players. I think that the furthest distance for the range is around 270 yards or so. The food tastes pretty good and is reasonably priced. They have some specialty alcoholic drinks that looked good and my friends said were worth getting. I tried the pull pork slides with fries and recommend trying those dishes. I will say that overall, the facility looks great and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The parking lot can be a bit confusing as there are valet and self park sections. Depending on the direction you come into the lot it does seem like there is only the valet option so one of my other friends just parked on the street not realizing that he could've parked closer. I just wish they had another location in the southern metro area. Definitely a recommended place to visit. read more

If I could give zero I would. een to Top Golf in Orlando and expected the same quality but sadly mistaken. we were told 3 hour wait... umm ok. walk upstairs and half the bays are completely empty. the upstairs bar closed for the night even though the main floor bar is packed to overflow. no organized way to grab a table because it's chaos. no waitlist, no order. just people standing around ready to pounce. everyone waiting is complaining about how this is set up. absolutely ridiculous. update... we left to grab dinner and came back at the 3 hours, waited 15 minutes when I asked how much longer... they tell me another 30 minutes... we wait another hour and they call and tell me it's going to be yet another hour. They didn't bother to tell us they bump you for people with reservations, when I why would think they should have already accounted for those bays. The last call they tell me they were event heavy, again... that would've been already scheduled. She seemed annoyed I said I wasn't waiting any longer. We recently had a private event here the day after my daughter's wedding. I was so impressed with everything. The staff was great and all of our guests had a wonderful time. Went to top golf first time. Was told the wait would be 1 to 1 1/2 hours if we didn't want an upper tier box. It would be 2 to 2 1/2 hour for choice. We went with first available. After 2 hours was told just a little longer after 2 1/2 hours we left. Many empty boxes but no one to clean them but there were 6 people behind front desk. read more

A $50 fee to make a reservation is ridiculous! I can see charging $50 if someone wants to make a reservation and applying it towards the bill, or keeping the $50 if a group is a no-show, but a $50 charge for the privilege of coming in and dropping a bunch of additional cash on bay rental, food and drinks is absolutely backwards. When I called to confirm that the $50 was just a fee for making a reservation, and would not apply to the bill, the TopGolf person told me "their customers had requested that they do this". WOW AND THANK YOU! This place is absolutely AMAZING. We originally had issues with getting reservations, but honestly it is not the staff's fault. Minnesota has strict COVID-19 regulations right now, therefore making reservations a little different than normal. Once I expressed my initial frustrations to Christian, one of the managers at TopGolf Brooklyn, he quickly did everything to make the experience beyond expectations and turn it around! We were in town from Iowa for my husband's birthday. He recently visited TopGolf Las Vegas for a bachelor party and LOVED IT. We were in town with 3 of our best friends, and thought this would be fun to do. We all went to Iowa State, so it was important to us to be able to watch our Cyclones Saturday night (11/7). Our bay was able to accommodate all 5 of us, and we had our own TVs that displayed the golf games we were playing as well as the Iowa State Game. The service was TOP notch. I can't say more how incredibly nice the staff was, along with the attention to detail they provided in their services. Casey was so amazing and attentive to our group. Such a sweetheart, professional and considerate to our needs. Christian and one of the other managers, Shawn, checked on us throughout the night ensuring we were taken care of at all times and having a great time. They even had Happy Birthday Ryan on the screen of our bay, and brought out donuts as a surprise at the end for my husband's birthday. Donuts are his favorite, so this was a really nice touch. The food and drinks were great, and really reasonably priced. I noticed staff constantly cleaning bays after other parties left, all of the golf equipment, including the balls, and the restrooms were cleaned several times during our visit. Overall this experience was a 10/10, I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars! If you are looking for something fun and different to do while in the Minneapolis area, with a group of friends, while practicing safe COVID-19 protocols, this is a great option for you. I can't wait until we are back in the area and can visit again. This is a really cool place to hang out and enjoy an evening or day with friends and family. It's bowling for golf. It makes the game of golf more interesting. They have a full service bar with food and drinks that can be brought to you while you play. Very professional and organized with advanced technology and a very comfortable atmosphere. Our overall experience at Topgolf was it was a pretty decent time. The experience was fun but I got a really sour taste in my mouth when I first came in. My boyfriend and I went to the bar while we were waiting for our friends to arrive. we decided to order an old fashion and received what was shown in the picture! It was the most tacky drink I have ever seen. The old fashion didn't even fill up to the half mark of the cup and the drink looked like it was all ice cube. We both looked at the drinks and kind of laughed because we couldn't believe what we were served. The drink was also 10 dollars so it wasn't super cheap either. If you want to piss someone off right away is have them pay 10 dollars for a drink that looks like it's two sips and all ice cube. It was so laughable and started off our experience and not a great note. read more

That was 10 minutes and not 45. Seems like a plot to order drinks and food. Got the food and it was good. Never got the drink. Went to the bar to get it myself. Receive another text saying I'll be put back on waiting list. Waiter showed up about 10 minutes after we finished food. Dude disappeared for close to half an hour. Never did hit balls. 3rd time here in a year. Probably the last since the service is always terrible. read more

We went to Topgolf on Saturday, November 24th and had a blast! It was a cold, windy night and the heaters worked well, but I would suggest wearing a jacket because it is Minnesota, after all. There's only so much they can do to heat the place without it costing a fortune. The food was tasty and the service was great. The Bay Hosts are very attentive and fun! Any new place is going to have growing pains so people need to be patient and let them work out the kinks. It's a fun, unique experience that everyone can enjoy! the topgolf idea is very good but we had some problems with the bartenders - were very slow also forgot to make one of the drinks so he made a new payment for it and forgot again to give it to us... until we asked for the third time ... also if you subscribed by the app you save a dollar per person - we are in 6 so why not ?! I've been to a couple different TopGolf locations and this is by far the most unorganized and has the worst customer service. The staff won't tell you anything about your wait time and why it is so long. I have never been told at any Topgolf it will be a 4-6 hour wait. We were somewhat understanding as it was a holiday weekend, but the logistics of that long of a wait don't add up. The bays had completely turned over, some twice, by the time we got a bay. Even the TopGolf in Vegas is never that long of a wait. From what the other reviews have said this is a common practice by this location even on non-holiday weekends. They won't communicate what your place in line is, and we literally had to wait to the minute until it had been exactly 4 hours before they gave us a bay. We were also told we had to stay within a 15 minute radius of the TopGolf that entire 4 hours our we wouldn't get a bay. We ended up taking a nap in our car because there is nothing close to this TopGolf that you can do while you wait. I hope they can get their stuff together and make this TopGolf a better experience. Once we got to our bay, Keith, our sever, was fantastic. TLDR; make a reservation or they basically put you in timeout for 3-9 hours depending on how they feel. read more

DO NOT BOOK A COMPANY OR LARGE GROUP HERE. RIP OFF. SCAM. What a disappointment. We had a great night but when we got our bill of $900 we were shocked. We planned ahead and called to make reservation for 10 people. We were told we would need two bays so we asked for them next to each other. And we were asked to put 50% down and spend a minimum of $400 of food/drink. No problem with that. The problem is the extra $300 we were charged. After being ghosted by their customer service email when I asked for an itemized receipt I called corporate and they just sent me right back to the person who ghosted me. After several emails and hours of being on hold I was told the $300 charge was so that I could HAVE TWO BAYS NEXT TO EACHOTHER. So you are telling me that the only way for a group of more than 6 to play together is to pay $900?!! What a scam? And why so secretive about an itemized receipt? Why did it take hours of being shuffled around to different people before I got answered. I feel lied to and tricked. read more

They had ALOT of staff members, all of whom were masked and constantly disinfecting EVERYTHING. There were plastic barriers all over the place. When we arrived they said a max 2 hour wait, so we went to the bar and spent about $80. After 2 hours we decided to go check in with the desk to see what place in line. They said 6. 25 minutes later we checked and they said 3. Next we got a call about 10 minutes later telling us we were 8 in line. On the phone we expressed the concern so they put us on the "VIP list". Again another 20 minutes goes by and we go to the desk and they tell us we are 6 in line. When at the front desk the lead shift said they were very busy. He said there were 98 people in line and we asked how long he thought it would be he said probably a hour. We talked with the manager and she is helping us arrange a new date to come back. However, it was 8 and there was no way that the other 98 groups were going to get into a bay so why have all of these people wait knowing that they won't get to play. Very disappointed. read more

My friends' and I's first experience with service at Topgolf was poor, rude, and unorganized. Arrived at our bay with no staff around so we started to look at our touch screen. Then a staff member proceeded to rudely scold us for touching it as if we were supposed to know what to do. She then very inaccurately explained the games and how the membership fees worked. We were able to play for an hour before the screen malfunctioned and had to be reset. Luckily a manager was very kind and gave us an extra 30 minutes to make up for our missed time. Topgolf, as a whole, is very fun. The games are fun and it's definitely a fun family/friend experience. Topgolf as an activity, 5/5 stars. That being said, topgolf as a bar/restaurant (specifically at this location since it's brand new), has a long way to go. We booked a group event for 12 people where were provided $300 of food/beverage and 2 hours of activity for booking ahead of time and a fee. While we did have a server who was always available and promptly took food/beverage orders when we had them, it took minimum 1/2 hour to get our orders, and the only thing we ordered were beers (no cocktails that take time to pour) and appetizers. When we finally did get our food, it was very clear that it was done cooking about 20 minutes before we got it, because it was cold and/or soggy, the way that leftovers get when you microwave them the next day. I can excuse this, though, as it is brand new and there will definitely be a learning curve. I expect they'll become more efficient/knowledgable on how to get food delivered timely as they get more experience. What seems inexcusible, though, is that well over half the menu on unavailable because they were out of those items. We booked this outing and prepaid, only to find out that while we were having to pay the full price, we were only going to get to eat off half the menu because several items were out. All boneless wings were out, chicken quesadillas were out, buffalo chicken flatbread was out, their spring rolls were out, coor's light, the list goes on. Very disappointing to prepay for an event and get there to find that out. If you are looking for a great event to do with friends and family, I highly recommend Topgolf. Until the MN location gets its bearings on how to operate efficiently and effectively, though, I recommend eating somewhere else before or after. I will likely be back in the future and will hope for a much improved dining experience. read more
